Rachel Crow X Factor Performances: Watch Now!

Did Rachel Crow earn your vote on The X Factor last night? The young singer took to the stage twice, first doing an impression of Bruno Mars and then covering “Music and Me,” and earning strong, weird praise from the judges. “I’m waiting for the Rachel Crow doll to come out complete with your own bathroom,” Nicole Scherzinger said, for example. But are these performances enough to keep Rachel around for another week? Compare her most recent versions to Melanie Amaro’s ( HERE ) and Josh Krajcik’s ( HERE ) and decide for yourself… Rachel Crow – Nothing On You Rachel Crow – Music And Me

Rachel Crow Sings, Asks: Can You Feel It?

She’s adorable and she’s mature far beyond her years, but Rachel Crow may be saying farewell to The X Factor after tonight’s results show. The young singer did her best to cover Michael Jackson’s “Can You Feel It” last night, but she simply lacked the vocal range to really make an impression with the song, leading the tempered praise from the panelists. “I adore you, but the song didn’t give you justice,” Paula Abdul said, while LA Reid added: “I didn’t believe you were having a great time.” Will this rendition cost Crow a shot at the title? Tiger Woods: Not Dead Despite Twitter Hoax, Actually Leading Golf Tournament!

Tiger Woods is totally alive, despite reports on Twitter that he is dead. In other news, he is uncharacteristically playing decent golf this week! The greatest golfer of our age, Tiger Woods, hasn’t been killed, no matter what a bunch of idiots Tweeting as much claim. But his golf came has been DOA for awhile. He hasn’t won a tournament in over two years (the two-year anniversary of the car crash is coming up) and his fitness, mentally and physically, has been way off. You wouldn’t know it this week in Sydney, Australia, where Woods is tearing up one of the country’s best courses, leading by one stroke at the halfway point. Woods says he’s “playing properly” again. The distractions of the sex scandal that ended his marriage, injuries and splits with his caddy and coach are history. “It’s one of those things, just being patient,” the 14-time major winner said. “I derive a lot of my confidence from practice. I’m getting ample practice time.” “That’s something I’ve not done in the last couple of years.” Good for him. Even before the wreck ended his marriage to Elin Nordegren , he veered off a bit. Think he can pull it together and climb back up to the top?

Melanie Amaro Covers "Man in the Mirror" on The X Factor

Give Melanie Amaro credit: The X Factor front-runner is unafraid to tackle history’s most iconic artist. For the second time this season, the aspiring singer belted out a Michael Jackson cover, following last month’s ” Will You Be There? ” with last night’s “Man in the Mirror.” How did she fare? Simon Cowell found his protege to be “bloody fantastic,” though L.A. Reid was a bit more pointed in his critique. He praised Melanie’s voice, but referred to the song itself as not “that inventive.” Watch the rendition now and then sound off: is Amaro still the favorite? Or is Rachel Crow making major progress? They’ve made it. They can take a breath, at least for a brief moment before the live performance begin.
