Source: James Leynse / Getty Several people have been killed, after a white pickup truck drove down the West Side Highway bike path in New York City for serval blocks. According to police, the driver drove his vehicle on the wrong side of the West Side Highway then on the the bike path. Once he stopped, he got out of the car with what police said was a gun, and was shot by officers. According to reports Nelly has been arrested on a Rape charge. According to TMZ a woman claims she was raped on Nelly’s tour bus in Washington early Saturday morning, where he’s been performing. Nelly is on a tour with Florida Georgia Line and they are set to perform Saturday night in Ridgefield, Washington. She allegedly said Nelly is the one who raped her. Nelly was charged with second degree rape charges Saturday morning at around 7 AM. No word if he is still in custody. We’re not quite sure where things went wrong here. Was it Florida, where it seems that most of the crazy crimes you read about in the news are committed? Maybe its the heat or the hurricanes, we’re not sure. Or maybe it’s just that twins stick up for each other, even down to committing crimes for them? We’re not sure, but this story out of Florida has us perplexed. People.com reports: A 40-year-old Florida man is accused of fatally shooting his twin brother’s romantic rival following an altercation on Labor Day, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE. On Monday, police arrested K elcey Riddick of Boynton Beach on a first-degree murder charge. Police believe Riddick fatally shot Derrick Barber, 35, outside a convenience store in Boynton Beach on Sept. 4. Shortly prior to the deadly shooting, several witnesses allegedly observed Barber and Riddick’s twin, Kunta Kinte Riddick, engaged in a heated argument that turned physical in the store’s parking lot. Source: Christian Petersen / Getty Michael Bennett seemed pretty traumatized earlier this week when detailing his recent encounter with racist police who targeted him for being Black — and it judging by his recent interview, he’s still very much effected by it. On Wednesday, the Seattle Seahawks star was overcome with emotion during a press conference when talking about the Vegas police incident. He told reporters, “It sucks that the country that we live in now, sometimes you get profiled for the color of your skin.” Bennett got emotional when talking about being a Black man in America and his daughters, saying, “I try to tell my daughters every single day that they matter.” Bennett got some emotional, he abruptly left the press conference. Despite the touching moment, Las Vegas police department held a press conference of their own. The Vegas Metro Police Department say they don’t believe Michael’s incident was racially motivated and that they may have the receipts to prove it. Sheriff Kevin McMahill claims there is bodycam footage, which shows officers clearing out dozens of people of various races just before the incident with the football star. He says officers only chased Bennett when he acted suspiciously during the intense search. McMahill added, “Due to Bennett’s actions [police] believed Bennett may have been involved in the shooting and they gave chase. I see no evidence that race played any role in this incident.” You may recall that Bennett said in an open letter that police forced him to the ground and and threatened to “blow my f***ng head off.” As for the shooting that police thought Bennet may have been involved in — there was no shooting. Source: Christian Augustin / Getty A Bengal tiger was found wandering around the metro Atlanta earlier this week and it terrified and entire community. ___ Officials say the tiger had escaped from its cage while it was being transported from Tampa, Florida, to Memphis, Tennessee. Frightened residents called the police after the tiger was seen roaming through area near Interstate 75 and Jodeco Road in the metro Atlanta county.
