After numerous accounts of what happened between Ray-J and Fabolous on a night in Vegas it can finally be resolved with this video of the fight caught by a by-stander! The video is shaky but you can see both Ray-J and 50 Cent on camera. TMZ reports that 50 had to jump in between the men before things really got out of control. While Fabolous claimed no one swung, Ray-J claims he “socked” Fab in the face and 50 Cent went on record saying Ray swung but didn’t connect…let’s just see what happens! Top 10 Celebrity Fights

Read more here:

So word is Fabolous knocked Ray J the f**k out at the Mayweather vs. Ortiz fight in Vegas this past weekend. This is just one of many celebrity fights to have occurred over in the past few years. Is it me or aren’t these fights always the most random match ups we never expect? Sometimes celebrities fight over real issues and other times it’s just the dumbest things you can ever imagine. TUD has decided to compile a list of the top 10 celebrity fights that have played out in the public and on the blogs. Check out the list below! 10. Usher Vs. Bobby Brown- Now this was not a real fight but the blogs were buzzing about Usher and Bobby Brown getting into an altercation. We would love to see two of R&B greats go at it as if they were really competing for the title but that was not the case. Bobby Brown attended Usher’s birthday party where he greeted Usher who was so happy to see him, he put Bobby in a headlock. Bobby tried to tell Usher he could not breathe but Usher couldn’t hear him over the loud music. Bobby then picked Usher up holding him over the DJ booth when Usher’s security came to his rescue. 9. Foxy Brown Vs. Jacki-O – Foxy is considered the most controversial female rapper of all time. So no one is surprised when she gets into fights. Back in 2005, Foxy Brown and Jacki-O got into a fight down in Miami. Rumor is Jacki-O and rapper, Gravy, were in the studio recording when Foxy Brown showed up along with her nasty attitude. Jacki-O, who wishes she could have a rap career like Foxy once had, was not feeling how shady Foxy was being and put feet on her. Check out the video where Jacki-O speaks on the altercation and Foxy’s response saying it never happened and Jacki-O was just fishing for free press. Jacki-O later released a diss record aimed at Foxy titled “TKO.” 8. Joe Budden Vs. Raekwon- We all know Joe Budden loves having drama played out on cameras. He somehow believes it will help his brand and he will one day go platinum.  The beef started with Joe Budden talking trash about being better than Method Man. Now you already know the Wu is going to hold it down. At Rock The Bells 09, someone in The Wu-Tang’s camp swung on Joe. Of course, Joe Budden would make a video holding a ice pack to his face. Check the video out HERE . 7. Maino Vs. Yung Berg- Maino made it clear that he was not being a bully. The two were on tour together at the time and Maino was even featured on Yung Berg’s “The Business” remix. Yung Berg approached Maino at a club in Atlanta. “I heard you was talking reckless about me” is what Yung Berg said to Maino. Being from the streets of Brooklyn, Maino open handed slapped him. Check out the audio where Maino speaks on what happen. 6. Ne-Yo Vs. Jim Jones- This is a rare match up that we never saw coming. The fight took place at the Louis Vuitton store on 5th Avenue in New York City. Word is one of Jim Jones’ goons made a disrespectful comment about Jay-Z to Ty Ty, who is Jay’s best friend, and when Ty Ty responded things got crazy. A source told MTO that someone had a Prada shoe on Ne-Yo’s neck. Sounds like a serious brawl doesn’t it? No one suffered any major injuries. Charges against Jim Jones were pressed and he later appeared in court and was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket. Jim Jones says he was lucky not to have received any time behind bars. 5. Ray J Vs. Fabolous- We never saw this one coming. Ray J and Fabolous scrapping down after the Mayweather vs. Ortiz fight is just hilarious. Now the fight is rumored to be instigated by 50 Cent. We all know how 50 can get the beef popping off. The altercation started off as just jokes but things got real after 50 instigated. This resulted in Fabolous hitting Ray J with a two piece and a biscuit leaving him unconscious. Word is Ray J’s jewelry was stolen in the process. Read about the full story HERE . 4. Junior Mafia Vs. Dipset- Just may be one of those classic hip hop beefs. Brooklyn Vs. Harlem if you really want to take it there. The brawl took place about 10 years ago at Ruker Park in Harlem, NY.  We still don’t exactly know how this fight got started but according to JM, Cam’ron fled the scene when things got real. Check out the video where Lil’ Cease and Junior Mafia speak on the brawl.    3. Jay-Z Vs. R. Kelly – When the best of both worlds go wrong. There were rumors of Jay-Z and R-Kelly having some disagreements while touring for their second joint album Unfinished Business . I would assume the rumors true when R. Kelly was sprayed in the face with pepper spray by Jay-Z’s best friend Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith. This occurred when R. Kelly had stopped the concert and exited the stage, claiming he saw two men with guns in the audience.  This caused Jay-Z to put an end to the tour. R. Kelly wanted to go on, but Jay had enough of R. Kelly’s wild antics and continued on without him with the help of artist like Kanye West, Foxy Brown, Mary J. Blige and Missy Elliott and more, calling the show Jay-Z and Friends.  R. Kelly later hit Jay with a $75 million breach of contract lawsuit. 2. Jay-Z Vs. Lance “Un” Rivera- Now we still don’t know the truth about this fight as Nas pointed out in his “Ether” diss. The incident dates back to December 1999 when Jay was gearing up to release “Life & Times Of S. Cater” Vol. 3. Word had got back to Jay-Z that Un was responsible for his album being leaked before the release date. Jay-Z and his entourage ran into Un at The Kit Kat Club on west 43rd street in New York City. Rumor has it during the altercation Jay-Z stabbed Lance. Later, Rivera drafted a civil suit against Jay-Z  but never filed it after the two settled out of court for about $500,000 to $1 million. 1. Diddy Vs. Steve Stoute- Nas’s “Hate Me Now” video displayed Diddy and Nas being nailed to a cross like Jesus. Diddy later did not want the world to see him like that because of his religion. Steve Stoute who was Nas’a manager at the time promised Diddy that he would have him taken out of that part of the video. The video premiered with both Nas and Diddy being nailed to a cross. This resulted in Diddy and his bodyguards breaking into Steve Stoute’s office and hit him over the head with a champagne bottle. Now what I wanna know is, did Diddy bring the champagne bottle with him or did he hit Steve Stoute in the head with his own Champagne bottle? Rihanna Snubbed By MTV Again With Europe Music Award Nominations?

Go here to read the rest:

When Rihanna was snubbed by MTV for a VMA nomination this year, we thought it was a one-time fluke. But now that the network’ss Europe Music Awards are set to air, and her name has again been left off some serious categories, we’re wondering if they’ve got it out for her. Despite going on tour and releasing a record-breaking six songs from a single album (with music videos to match), the VMA’s didn’t recognize Rihanna for her solo work, only for her collabo with Eminem. Now, it seems the EMAs don’t find her worthy of a “Best Female Artist” win either. Somehow, they see Jennifer Lopez more fitting of the title! Here’s a partial list of the nominees: BEST FEMALE Adele Beyoncé Jennifer Lopez Katy Perry Lady Gaga BEST POP Britney Spears Justin Bieber Katy Perry Lady Gaga Rihanna BEST SONG Adele – “Rolling In The Deep” Bruno Mars – “Grenade” Jennifer Lopez ft Pitbull – “On The Floor” Katy Perry – “Firework” Lady Gaga – “Born This Way” BEST VIDEO Adele – “Rolling In The Deep” Beastie Boys – “Make Some Noise” Beyoncé – “Run The World (Girls)” Justice – “Civilization” Lady Gaga – “Born This Way” Do you think MTV is ignoring Rihanna’s success? 2011 Urbanworld Film Festival Recap [PHOTOS]

Read more from the original source:

Black Hollywood came out in full force at the 15th annual Urbanworld Film Festival .  The opening film Brooklyn Boheme , which documents the rise of  black artistic talent during the 90′s in Fort Greene, was the brainchild of director Diane Paragas and author Nelson George , who witnessed (and was a part of) this late 20th century urban renaissance.  ”It was this amazing community that so many artists came out of, who ended up affecting the world.” Director Spike Lee, comedian Chris Rock, and actor John Boyega ( Attack The Block ) , were in attendance to show support for the film.  Boyega, who was recently cast as  the lead in the the highly anticipated HBO drama “Da Brick” (loosely based on Mike Tyson’s early years), had just spent most of his day undergoing a grueling workout session, in order to prepare for his role as a boxer.  When asked about the media dubbing him the ‘British Denzel Washington’ Boyega replied “I still have a lot of growing to do before I can be a Denzel, but he’s very inspirational.”  Spike Lee, who is directing the pilot episode of “Da Brick”,  immediately cast Boyega after seeing his breakout performance in Attack The Block , called him a “great young actor.” Chris Rock, who also co-stars in Brooklyn Boheme recalled some of his favorite memories of living in Fort Greene.  “I remember a lot of artists living there like Spike, Halle Berry, Wesley Snipes Mos Def, Erykah Badu—just an interesting time.  It was kind of like living in Detroit during the Motown years.” The star wattage continued to shine brightly Friday night as director Mario Van Peebles , 50 Cent and Lynn Whitfield were on hand to promote their film “All Things Fall Apart.”  50 hit the red carpet with his own entourage of eye candy, posing for pics with the cast.  Van Peebles originally intended to play the lead role, but after meeting 50 “a bright, affable young brother,” he opted to take up directing reins for the project instead. Reality star Tami Roman pulled double duty promoting two projects—as an actress in Noel Calloway’s Life, Love, Soul and as a producer in Jerry LaMothe’s film short,  The Tombs which follows a young man’s experiences in the New York City central booking jail system. Spoken word legend Sonia Sanchez was also in attendance to promote her documentary Shake Loose Memories . At the Q&A which took place after, Sanchez gave a call of action to the youth of today, by reminding them of the sacrifices of the generation before.  ”We didn’t live our lives just so you could be pretty.” The HBO dramedy,  “How To Make It In America” screened their second season premiere, followed by a Q&A with author/culture critic Toure and the cast, which included Victor Rasuk and Luiz Guzman . The film festival closed out Saturday evening with the premieres of Life, Love Soul, Kinyarwanda and Yelling To The Sky. Radio host Egypt Sherrod, who makes her acting debut in Life, Love, Soul confessed she was a bundle of nerves the first day on set.  Luckily her co-star Jamie Hector  calmed her down her with some very simple advice, “Just breathe.” Victoria Mahoney , director of the coming-of-age feature,  Yelling To The Sky was in high spirits, as her project was recently picked up for distribution by MPI Media Group.  Asked how she was able to round up some of the best and brightest young talent ( Zoe Kravitz ,  Gabourey Sidibe , Yolonda Ross , Shareeka Epps ) Mahoney replied “with a lot of begging…and persistence!”  As for her advice to up and coming female directors, Mahoney had this to say “Never take no for an answer. If they close the door on you, go through the side window.” On Sunday, the awards luncheon was hosted by model/actress Liris Crosse and Vibe Magazine’s Datwon Thomas in downtown Tribeca.  There was a true sense of community amongst the directors, actors/actresses, and screenwriters, as past Urbanworld alumnae like Qasim B. ( Mooz-lum ) and Ava DuVernay ( I Will Follow ) mingling freely with this year’s new crop of talent.  Jamil Walker Smith, actor and director of “Make A Movie Like Spike” (featured in this year’s festival) eloquently expressed his wish for aspiring black filmmakers: “Hopefully the more personal we make our films, the more universal our stories become.” The list of winners is as follows: Best Narrative Feature MAMITAS Written and Directed by Nicholas Ozeki; Produced by Adam Renehan, Andrew Daniel Wells Honorable Mention: Make a Movie Like Spike (Written and Directed by Jamil Walker Smith) Restless City (for Cinematography – Bradford Young; Directed by Andrew Dosunmu) Best Narrative Short WAKE Written and Directed by Bree Newsome; Produced by Valerie Champagne, Bree Newsome Honorable Mention: Counterfeit (Written and Directed by Geoff Bailey) The Man in the Glass Case (Written and Directed by Maxwell Addae) Best Documentary Feature ZERO PERCENT Written and Directed by Tom Skousen; Produced by Robert Fernandez, Tom Skousen Best Documentary Short LOVE LOCKDOWN Directed by Nadia Hallgren; Produced by Jamie-James Medina Honorable Mention: Common Ground (for cinematography – Eduard Jakaj, Stephen Dwight; Directed by Hollie Fifer) Best Screenplay AFTER THE STORM Written by Cole Wiley Honorable Mention: Blackbird (Written by David Polk) The Divide (Written by Rashmi Singh) Best Teleplay WHITEHALL Written by Dawn M. Britney Spears: Rocking Engagement Ring! Still Not Engaged to Jason Trawick!

If we’ve learned anything over the years, it’s that Britney Spears occasionally loves wearing huge, diamond jewelery on her left ring finger. But that doesn’t mean she’s engaged people! Geez! The singer fueled the semi-annual Jason Trawick engagement rumors Friday when she stepped out in London with a HUGE ROCK! Peep it: Spears flaunts a giant ring and gets the rumor mill buzzing at BBC Radio 1. Look at that BLING! Although the two denied reports that Jason Trawick was planning to propose to the pop queen (again), you have to wonder if he will. It’s been a long, serious relationship at this stage, and if anyone’s familiar with her very complicated past and present life situation, it’s her former agent. Not yet, though. Upon closer inspection, while the ring is clearly mammoth and no doubt expensive as heck, it’s not an engagement ring. We don’t think. Look: Britney Spears wouldn’t rock a yellow engagement ring, right? [Photos: Fame Pictures]

Katy Perry Picks ‘The One That Got Away’ As Next Single

Song will be the sixth single from 2010’s Teenage Dream. By Jocelyn Vena Katy Perry Photo: Dimitrios Kambouris/ Getty Images Katy Perry isn’t ready to let the Teenage Dream era go. She’s readying her sixth single from the album, the sentimental midtempo track “The One That Got Away.” Billboard reports that the singer’s label has confirmed the track’s release. Of the decision to release another song from the album, Greg Thompson, an EMI Music/Capitol Records EVP/marketing and promotion rep, told the mag, “Nothing ventured, nothing gained.” Boasting production and writing credits from Dr. Luke and Max Martin (with a co-writing assist from Perry herself), the track is all about her first love. On the track’s chorus, she pines, “In another life, I would be your girl/ We keep all our promises, be us against the world/ And in another life, I would make you stay/ So I don’t have to say you were the one that got away.” While she’s a pop princess, Perry also calls out her love for artists like Radiohead and Johnny Cash on the song, which appears to be about another musician. “Someone said you had your tattoo removed,” she sings. “Saw you downtown singing the blues/ It’s time to face the music/ I’m no longer your muse.” The track will hit radio next month. So far, Perry’s already found plenty of success with her previous five Teenage Dream singles, with every one topping the chart. The California Gurl matched Michael Jackson’s record with the feat, and if this track should also go to #1, she would best the King of Pop. The label added that Luke may “touch up” the track for the radio and that Perry is “reading treatments” for a video. “If it goes to #1, that would be great,” Thompson told Billboard. “If not, we still have a Katy song on the radio in fourth quarter.” What is your favorite Teenage Dream single? Swizzy’s Side-Piece Christina Elizabeth Comes Clean “He’s A Wonderful Man And I Had A Great Time With Him”

The plot thickens… Yesterday we released exclusive evidence that Swizz Beatz has been sexting with another woman while married to Alicia Keys and today we hear that woman’s side of the story. In a statement exclusively made to BOSSIP.com Chris says in her own words: I’m only making this statement because I’m being put out there as a liar and I am very embarrassed. I would like to confirm that the rumor about Swizz Beatz cheating on Mashonda with me is absolutely true. I would also like to confirm that the rumors about Swizz “sexting” me, even in his present marriage, are absolutely true. I am also confirming that I lost my cell phone and someone else posted all the stuff that you see on the internet. I’ve known Kasseem since 2007. We met at Solange Knowles’ (whom I do not associate with) birthday party in Houston, TX. A gentleman from Kasseem’s entourage approached me and said that someone wanted to talk to me. After I asked who it was, he pointed at Kasseem. I knew he was “Swizz Beatz”, but I did not know anything else about him. I gave him my phone number and he called me right away and invited me to eat at Katz’ Deli on Montrose Blvd. The next morning, he invited me to accompany him at Radio One (979 The Box) for his interview. Afterwards, we went back to his hotel room but we DID NOT HAVE SEX. A couple of hours later, he had to leave so he could catch his flight. He hugged and kissed me in public as if he were a single man. Keep reading for the rest of the statement
