Hand it over ho! Kris Humphries wants his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian , to fork over wedding gifts that were given to the former couple, by his family and friends, so he can personally return the presents and get his guests a refund. Via RadarOnline reports : Kardashian and Humphries were married in an extravagant on camera wedding at a mansion in Montecito, California last summer. The subsequent wedding special on E! was a ratings blockbuster, but there was trouble immediately between the newlyweds and Kardashian filed for divorce after only 72 days of marriage. “Kim stated that she made a $200k donation to a charity for the value of the wedding gifts, but, Kris can’t comprehend why Kim wouldn’t just return the gifts, especially to his guests who aren’t Hollywood movers and shakers,” a source close to Humphries tells RadarOnline.com. “Kris wants Kim to turn over the wedding gifts that were given by his family and friends so he can get them a refund. Kris doesn’t believe that Kim has the gifts, and that she absolutely did exchange all wedding gifts for jewelry for herself and her family. Kris wants to go to trial and have his lawyers ask Kim on the witness stand, under oath, what has really happened to the wedding gifts.” It’s sad that these two have been divorcing longer than actually being married! And the award for Most Random Celebrity to Make News on Oscar Night goes to… Sean Young! The actress was booked on charges of misdemeanor battery last night after an alleged incident outside the Governor Balls in Hollywood, an annual Academy Awards party hosted by the Academy itself. Sources tell TMZ that Young was hanging out with friends near the entrance of the party when she was asked to leave because she didn’t have an invitation. When Young returned a short while later, a security guard placed his hand on her shoulder, in an attempt to escort her off the premises, when Young reportedly slapped him and was placed under citizen’s arrest until the LAPD arrived and took her into custody. Must be love? Three months or so ago, reports began to surface that a sheep and a deer were carrying on a love affair at a Chinese zoo: The two animals first drew the attention of the internet back in November when pictures of the two cuddling and then copulating circulated throughout China’s social media. The male sheep, “Long Hair,” and female deer, “Pure Child,” were treated to a wedding bath and a banquet of carrots and grass with other park animals and guests. Aside from a brief hiccup when Pure Child got nervous and momentarily left the “groom” at the altar, the two eventually made their way through an “I Do Gate” constructed by staff to affirm their “love.” Despite the feel-good nature of the story, many netizens continue to dispute the veracity of the relationship as well as the appropriateness of an inter-species mock-marriage in a country that as of yet forbids non-traditional marriages. Just when we thought he was a good guy for reppin’ for Whitney… New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie on Friday vetoed a bill that would allow same-sex couples to wed, setting up a confrontation with a Democrat-controlled legislature that has vowed to eventually get the bill into law. The General Assembly on Thursday passed the measure, which the Senate had approved Monday. Lawmakers have until the legislative session ends in January 2014 to override Christie’s veto. They would need a two-thirds majority in both houses to succeed. Christie, the subject of speculation as a possible GOP vice presidential candidate, has said the issue “should not be decided by 121 people in the statehouse in Trenton.” He has advocated putting the issue to a referendum. “I continue to encourage the Legislature to trust the people of New Jersey and seek their input by allowing our citizens to vote on a question that represents a profoundly significant societal change,” Christie said in a statement. “I have been just as adamant that same-sex couples in a civil union deserve the very same rights and benefits enjoyed by married couples, as well as the strict enforcement of those rights and benefits.” Recent polling, meanwhile, suggests that New Jersey voters are slightly in favor of legalizing such marriages. Fifty-two percent of state voters approve the measure, the first time the figures have crossed the 50% threshold, according to a recent Quinnipiac University poll. After all the back and forth over whether or not Bobby Brown was invited to attend Whitney Houston’s funeral it appears he wasn’t able be in attendance for the full event. The singer was spotted leaving the church in funeral attire consoling his other children. Bobby Brown has released a statement regarding what happened this afternoon: My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions. I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see m daughter Bobbi Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how. SMH… Seems wrong to treat him that way doesn’t it? In their eagerness to make an unfunny pun about the NBA’s newest Asian sensation — Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin , ESPN’s mobile site posted the headline “Chink In The Armor” last night for a story about Jeremy Lin and the Knicks’ loss. ESPN has since removed the headline and released the following statement: Last night, ESPN.com’s mobile web site posted an offensive headline referencing Jeremy Lin at 2:30 am ET. The headline was removed at 3:05 am ET. We are conducting a complete review of our cross-platform editorial procedures and are determining appropriate disciplinary action to ensure this does not happen again. We regret and apologize for this mistake. Uhhh that’s more than a mistake. That’s a pretty racist error. What should ESPN do to show they’re truly apologetic for being so out of pocket???
