The former American Idol panelist took a few moments away from blasting Random yesterday to release her puppies online, preventing the world from getting a full view of them due to her strategically-placed black hair. Minaj didn’t include a caption with the image because, really, what is there to say? Especially when we’ve actually seen plenty more of the artist in her music video nip slip from March. Nicki Minaj, everyone… not exactly shy!
Another day, another ugly firing involving Paula Deen. This time she’s actually on the other side, however. The embattled celebrity chef has cut ties with her agent following the recent fallout from Deen using racial slurs , which she admitted in a lawsuit deposition. Deen’s rep, Elana Weiss, said in a statement that Deen ” has separated from ” New York agent Barry Weiner, who she thanks “for the tireless effort.” Thanks, but don’t let the door hit you on the way out. Paula, who’s been axed by Food Network, Walmart, Target, JCPenney, Kmart, Sears and Random House, wants Lisa Jackson’s lawsuit thrown out. Deen admits using racial slurs, but a long time ago – not in this discrimination lawsuit, which she says is BS, citing the Prop 8 ruling as cause for dismissal. It’s unclear why she canned her agent … but things can’t be going too much worse at the time being, so at worst it looks like a lateral move for her.

During a segment of CBS’ college basketball pregame show tonight, Doug Gottlieb was asked for his opinion on something related to the NCAA Tournament and – surrounded by Greg Gumbel, Greg Anthony, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley – cracked: “I’m just here to bring diversity to the set here. Give the kind of white man’s perspective on things from the point guard position.” Did the quip go over well? Not exactly… Doug Gottlieb White Man Joke When asked via Twitter about the random comment, Gottlieb defended it as a “joke.” But do you think he was really kidding? Or actually felt out of place in some way?
Amanda Bynes is Tweeting up a storm lately, and making less sense than ever. Among other gems, she says that she coined the phrase “LOLOLOL.” Is she saying she’s responsible for “LOL” as well, or just adding “OLOL” onto the end? We may never know … which is true of most things with her. Morrissey is at it again. The British indie-rocker continued his random, don’t-give-a-f*%k string of celebrity feuds, this time taking issue with Beyonce of all people. At issue? Her handbags. Seriously. During an L.A. concert Friday, the 53-year-old outspoken vegetarian singled out Bey for her bags, saying she is personally contributing to rhino extinction. Out of nowhere? Over the top? You bet. That’s Morrissey for you. The former Smiths frontman, who also made the Staples Center go meatless for the show by shutting down McDonald’s, scolded Queen Bey on stage. Before launching into the song, “Meat is Murder,” appropriately. Morrissey’s been on a ROLL of late, launching into a tirade against Prince Harry and the British royal family, and bailing on Jimmy Kimmel last week. The singer nixed his appearance on the talk show because the cast of the duck hunting reality hit Duck Dynasty was scheduled for the same night. Lest you think he just does all this to make news, he sold out the 20,000-set venue, where he was introduced by Patrick Dempsey of Grey’s Anatomy . Yes, you read that right. With Morrissey, there’s never a dull (or predictable) moment, and no one is safe from a morose missive or verbal indictment. Until every last celebrity eats only vegetarian recipes and eschews animal products, don’t expect him to censor himself. Dude possesses no filter.

This Ukrainian politician went off in a Facebook rant against Mila Kunis, slamming her heritage and saying she isn’t a true Jew because the actress is a “zhydovka.” That word translates to an Anti-Semitic slur that’s been used against Jewish people since the Holocaust. Insulting Mila Kunis? Wrong. Ogling Mila Kunis nude ? Oh so right! The Ukrainian government has defended Miroshnichenko. But the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles has sent a letter to the nation in which his organization expresses “our outrage and indignation against the slanders of the Svoboda Party directed against the Jewish community in the Ukraine.” Rabbi Marvin Hier says that “zhydovka” (translation: “dirty Jewess”) is an “insidious slur invoked by the Nazis and their collaborators as they rounded up the Jews to murder them at Babi Yar and in the death camps.” He is urging the Ukraine Prime Minister to “publically condemn this attack and to take measures to defeat the xenophobic forces that threaten your democracy.” No word from Kunis just yet, but at least she has the Sexiest Woman Alive thing to fall back on.
With Nicki Minaj taking the Twitter fight to Steven Tyler , another random music feud has now cropped up. Following Depeche Mode’s Martin Gore recently telling Music Week that ” somebody should shoot ” Simon Cowell, The X Factor judge has fired back in a series of online digs. “I read Martin gore wants to shoot me,” Simon Tweeted yesterday. “He is in depeche mode. Do you realise how weird and stupid that makes you. Go and watch the news.” Cowell was referencing the Aurora Colorado shooting in his response, along with other recent incidents involving gun use. Gore, of course, has clarified that he was “not advocating violence,” but simply isn’t a fan of Cowell’s “influence in the music industry over the last god knows how many years.” Still, as Simon explained, he could have chosen his words far more wisely because “”a ton of people have got shot this year and people like weirdo gore encourage this.” In conclusion, the producer has sage advice for us all: “I went to a thanksgiving party and someone told me to listen rather than talk. You have two ears and one mouth. Very good advice.”
