Fans have already seen the From Not to Hot trailer . New episodes begin on Friday, June 15! But this video offers a number of sneak peeks into upcoming footage, including a very telling scene in which June and boyfriend Geno Doak are looking at wedding dresses. June is talking about marriage for the first time in her life, folks. Are they going to take that next step? Before the preview video that we've included gets to June trying but failing to get into a size 8 dress, she heads to the dress shop to pick up her dress. While there, she and boyfriend Geno end up looking at dresses. (After she explains to him that the “headband” that he points out is, in fact, a tiara) Shannon's eyes light up when she looks at wedding dresses. “This could be us,” she says. Geno, who likes to deflect with humor, replies: “You better stay away from the dresses, you might be blinded by all that white.” No one is more surprised than June that she suddenly has her eyes on wedding dresses. She confesses to the camera: “Walking into the dress shop and seeing wedding dresses is like … I wanna wear one of those one day.” She did wear a camouflage dress for a commitment ceremony with Sugar Bear back before they parted ways but … clearly she has something a little more traditional in mind. “And it's kind of crazy for me to say that, because I've never said that before.” It sounds like June is head-over-heels for Geno. Geno, of course, made several jokes about the wedding dresses. In front of the cameras, June turns to Geno and says: “I know you're just teasing. You know you want to lock this body down and put a ring on it.” Geno replies with humor: “If you're insistent on getting married, I feel we’re close enough … I could walk and give you away.” Mama June gets very frank with the camera, saying: “I think Geno wants to get married to me, but I think he's scared because his first marriage failed.” Other parts of the video feature other teasers of what is to come. There may be some more discussion of June Shannon's brush with blindness . Sugar Bear and Jennifer Lamb continue their romance. Jennifer is worried about her health and eager to lose weight, but she knows that Sugar Bear prefers larger women and so she is hesitant to tell him. In the mean time, Pumpkin and Josh are still dealing with the fact that they are new parents with a baby. (Fair warning, there is a diaper change, and there is some excrement footage within the trailer … ugh) During all of this, Alana has been booted out of her bedroom to sleep on the couch while her room was turned into a nursery for Ella-Grace. Which, frankly, seems extremely unfair to Alana, who is not the one who got pregnant. Surely the crib could have gone into the room with Pumpkin. A nursery is not more important than a bedroom for an almost teenage girl. And if one of the girls is going to lose her privacy, it might as well be the one who had the baby, right? Speaking of unfair things, Geno gets Alana a cat in an effort to cheer her up. It doesn't seem like anyone knows how to interact with a cat, or perhaps they read a list of things to not do and mistook it for a list of how to treat a cat. (We hope that someone from the production crew gave them some advice, for that cat's sake) So, we don't know if June and Geno are headed to the altar. But they sure are teasing that it's a possibility. We suppose that we'll just have to watch and see.
Jenelle Evans 1, MTV 0. It appears as if this controversial cable network personality has won her stand-off against producers and executives, following many weeks’ worth of speculation that Evans may be fired from Teen Mom 2 . Such rumors ran wild around the Internet because Jenelle basically initiated her own boycott of the program. After MTV fired her husband, David Eason, as a result of his many homophobic remarks, Evans refused to film. She especially took a strong stance against filming the Teen Mom 2 reunion special in New York City last month, refusing to attend unless the network footed the traveling expenses for her and David. Producers refused. And Evans remained true to her word. She skipped the taping. (And, in the process, she missed quite an explosive situation, as Briana DeJesus and/or her sister allegedly brawled on stage with Kailyn Lowry as cameras rolled.) However, Radar Online now reports that Evans has essentially come out on top in this quasi game of chicken with her bosses: She WILL be part of the reunion special after all. How is this possible? Considering the special has already been filmed? MTV has agreed to send Dr. Drew Pinsky down to North Carolina to film a separate, one-on-one interview with Evans that will be incorporated into the reunion. The network has stood strong against Eason, though, as he will play no role in this filming. “ MTV arranged for Jenelle to film with just Dr. Drew in North Carolina after she threw a temper tantrum and refused to face the other girls without David,” an insider tells Radar, adding of the arrangement: “She is scheduled to film on Sunday, but David can’t be anywhere near filming. “So either he has to leave the house or Jenelle will have to go somewhere else to film.” Either way, it’s hard not to see this as a victory for Jenelle. The veteran reality star basically went on strike and dared MTV to fire her… … and the higher-ups responded by actually heading to down to Jenelle’s hometown just to make sure she remained part of the show. It’s worth noting that her mother, Barbara Evans, and her son, Jace, both traveled and filmed the Teen Mom 2 reunion in The Big Apple the the weekend of May 19, 2018. And they may very well have some negative things to say about Jenelle. But she’s also heard it all before. She can likely handle it. Just a few weeks ago, Evans got into serious legal trouble and faced major backlash after reportedly pulling a gun on a driver during a fit of road rage. Once again, chatter swirled after this incident that the famous teenage mother may get canned. And, just to be clear, this may still end up happening. She may very well film her reunion interview and then not have her contract renewed. Not every suitor on The Bachelorette is a prince. Sometimes, as you know if you follow The Bachelorette Spoilers , creeps make their way onto the show. Recently uncovered screencaps of Garrett Yrigoyen’s horrifying social media activity has a lot of the Bachelor Nation decrying him as a bigot. Now, Garrett is issuing an apology. Is it good enough? Garrett Yrigoyen had “liked” a series of images on Instagram. Among them were images mocking immigrants, mocking trans women, fat-shaming women, and promoting conspiracy theories about survivors of the Parkland shooting. Now that he’s been caught, Garrett took to social media to post an apology. “To those who I have hurt and offended: This is all new to me.” That’s not an apology, but it could be the start of one. “I went on the Bachelorette for the adventure and possibility of falling in love, not fame.” That sounds an awful lot like he’s sorry that his activity was exposed, right? “I did not know what to expect once the show aired.” He does apologize, after a fashion. “I am sorry to those who I offended and I also take full responsibly for my ‘likes’ on Instagram that were hurtful and offensive.” While some would have appreciated phrasing that doesn’t appear to cast blame on those who were offended, he did say that he is sorry. “garrett_yrigs12 was my former Instagram handle and I decided to take it down and start fresh.” His new handle is gy_yrigoyen. He says that he remade his Instagram, giving himself a social media blank slate, because: “I have learned an extremely valuable lesson and am taking steps to grow, become more educated, and be a better version of myself.” He then says that this has been a wake-up call. “I am not perfect, and I will never be anywhere close, but now I will always be more informed and aware of what I am liking and supporting, not just on Instagram, but in life.” Well, it’s good that he’s thinking about it, at least. “I never realized the power behind a mindless tap on Instagram and how it bears so much weight on people’s lives.” He again seems to be blaming the people impacted by his activity rather than himself, but perhaps this is simply how he writes. (We all have peculiarities in our writing styles) “I did not mean any harm by any of it.” He says that simply because he enjoys memes about unabashed cruelty towards entire demographics of people does not mean that he’s a bad person. “My Instagram ‘likes’ were not a true reflection of me and my morals.” Furthermore, it sounds like Garrett did not enjoy people referring to him as a bigot. “I am not the negative labels people are associating me with.” He claims that people who know him in person don’t see him that way. “For those who do know me, I am a sincere, genuine, loving, light-hearted, open-minded, and non-judgemental individual.” He prefers to describe himself as affable. “I like to make new friends with anyone I meet and want everyone to find their happiness …” He thinks that others should take his experience to heart when they are on social media. “Let my mistakes be a lesson for those who mindlessly double tap images, memes, and videos on any social media content that could be many things including hurtful, degrading, and dehumanizing.” Though she is noted for her left-leaning views, Becca Kufrin defended Garrett in the wake of his scandal. “I want viewers to be open to everyone, and I want them to go through this season with me and watch my love story unfold with all of these men.” Last season had a racist suitor. We suppose that it’s no surprise that this season seems to have an everything-ist. “I did things in the past that I’m sure wasn’t the best thing, but I just want people to stay open-minded to everyone.” Either Becca is just very nice (she is), or she’s going out of her way to back up Garrett. “I can’t fault on anyone for what they believe and who’s to say that anyone is truly what they believe in if they just double tap.” Doesn’t that depend upon what they believe? There’s a difference between having a stance on immigration and laughing at the idea of a brown-skinned child being tossed over a wall. “I can’t speak to that because that’s just not me. I am a strong woman and I do believe in certain things, but again, that’s what’s so great about our country — everyone is entitled to their own opinions.” Garrett’s story of his social media scandal being a wake-up call that led him to rethink things and become a better person is nothing short of incredible. But some fans took the comments to suggest that it is literally incredible. As in in -credible, not credible. The posts that he seemed to enjoy so much transcend political opinions and, as bloggers such as Reality Steve noted, cross the lines of what is considered basic human decency. One of the worst posts that he “liked” labeled the survivors of the February 14 Parkland shooting as “crisis actors.” It has not even been four months. He would have had to have made a total personality turnaround in a very short time. Has becoming famous and being held responsible for his abhorrent opinions made Garrett into a better human being overnight? Or has he simply become embarrassed that he was exposed? You don't normally see people this excited about having been arrested . But most people aren't Countess Luann. The Real Housewves of New York City star is teasing what viewers can expect to see of her arrest, and more. In the video that we have included, Luann de Lesseps teases to Entertainment Tonight about everything that fans can look forward to seeing. “Wait 'til you see the trip in the 'Bezerkshires.'” The Berkshires estates are located in Massachussetts and Connecticut. She even gets specific. “I mean, the end of the trip.” She expects that the drama will be very entertaining. And then, of course, Luann teases something a little more significant. “And then it's the holidays, so we all kinda know what happens during the holidays.” In case someone somehow missed her meaning, she adds: “To me.” On December 24 of 2017, Luann was arrested for allegedly trying to trespass into the wrong hotel room while being drunk and disorderly. Oh, and she may have, uh, kicked a police officer. And then, while in the car, slipped her cuffs. Like an action hero. Or an assassin. While Luann's insane arrest video is already available for public consumption, we are very interested to see how it will be covered on RHONY . Of course, Luann's brief foray into a life of crime is not the only story that she's teasing. “There's always drama.” If there weren't, the Real Housewives franchise would not be such an amazing success. She speaks of her costars and how supportive they have been in the wake of her arrest. “They've been great, but there's definitely shifts.” As we've noted for a while, friendships and factions are not a constant. “You're gonna see Bethenny and I get closer, and some of us get … not as close.” For example, Carole Radziwill and Bethenny Frankel are no longer friends. In fact, they seem to be enemies. Entertainment Tonight mentions that, about a month ago, Luann opened up about how she is recovering following the huge wakeup call that was her arrest. “I think that people are looking at me now and going, ‘Wow. She just, like, fell down the staircase and she got back out and she's climbing again.’” She's making great strides to turn her life around. “And that's how I feel about my life.” Within days of her arrest, Luann checked into rehab . “I feel like I'm taking control of my life again, and unfortunately I had to go to that extent to turn my life around.” Sometimes, you have to hit rock bottom before you realize that you're out of control. “But it's OK and I'm OK with that.” By the way, Luann stepped out with a dapper man on her arm. The guy looks like some sort of fusion of Liam Neeson and Jonathan Cheban (no shade!), and they seemed to be getting along well. That said, Luann says that the two of them are “just friends.” Though she did follow up by saying: “Just friend … for now.” Good for you, Luann.

Lala Kent was forced to go on the offensive Monday night. The Vanderpump Rules veteran found herself the target of her co-stars’ wrath when the topic on the show’s reunion special turned to boyfriend Randall Emmett. Or, to be more specific, to possibly MARRIED boyfriend Randall Emmett . Was Kent’s lover really someone else’s husband when the two started dating? Andy Cohen asked Kent this question directly during the aforementioned gathering. “You’ve been together for a while. You’re clearly very happy. You denied over the years all of the allegations that your boyfriend was married,” Cohen, who moderated the reunion, said on air. He then popped the question: “It seems that maybe he was married when you started dating , correct?” Replied a hesitant Lala: “Well, when I met…Rand…he had a legal separation. So, I don’t see how I did anything wrong.” Emmett is a movie and TV producer. For the record: finalized his divorce in December and he has two children with his ex-wife. All of the Vanderpump Rules cast members confirmed on the special that they have met Kent’s latest lover. The topic on the special eventually turned from Emmett’s marital status to whether Kent is simply digging up gold by dating her new man. That is, what does Kent have to say about the cars, purses and shoes that Emmett has purchased for her? All the “materialistic things,” as Scheana Marie said, eyes fully rolled, during the reunion? Kent was not happy with this implication. She fired back at her colleagues and their implication that she’s only in this relationship for the monetary perks. “Everyone can sit there and be like, ‘Her man does this; her man does that.’ It’s like, ‘OK, you’re just mad ’cause your man doesn’t do that!'” she yelled. And she wasn’t done defending herself, either. “Whenever I make music, it comes out of my pocket,” Kent said, elaborating in angry detail: “My rent? My man gave me a cap, which, we are well above the cap, so mama payin’ a lot for rent. As far as my cars go, it’s like, ‘Here’s the lease, but you best be payin’ insurance.'” Kent also said she’s driving a BMW i8, which can cost as much as $150,000. “I have it for a few months just to, like, dink around,” Kent said, not realizing how awful a job she was doing of shooting down that whole gold digger accusation. Later in the reunion special, Kent was asked to defend her specific “brand” of feminism. Said Lisa Vanderpump at this point: “I love Lala, but she’s not exactly the quintessential feminist if she’s talking about, ‘Well, I give a BJ, and I get the jewelry.'” In response, Kent reminded her boss: “Keep in mind I am blowing my boyfriend. I’m not blowing some random guy for the jewelry. Come on!” That is an important distinction. It’s one thing to go around providing sexual favors in exchange for goods and/or services. There’s a name given to women who do this. But it’s another thing to provide a sexual favor for your exclusive boyfriend, who happens to be well off and who likes to buy you stuff. In 2016, The Willis Clan star Toby Willis was arrested for child-rape . It was immediately suspected that the deeply religious father of 12 homeschooled children had raped his own child . Jessica Willis, his oldest child, is speaking out about her father, who is thankfully serving a lengthy sentence in prison for the horrors that he perpetrated upon his family. Jessica, now 26 and married, is opening up for the first time about her father’s sexual and physical abuse. In a heartbreaking post to her website, Jessica Willis details her father’s abuse . “As far back as I can remember, I was sexually abused by my father.” She’s not exaggerating, either. “I figure I was around three years old in some of the earliest memories.” Horrifying. “Initially, I had no way to know that anything was wrong. When I did eventually come to realize the fact, I had no way to accurately express what was happening to me.” This is not uncommon at all in abuse victims. Many survivors also find it difficult to speak because they instinctively fear retaliation. “There followed immense shame, distrust and hurt throughout my childhood — even in the happy times. Thus ran the two parallel storylines that became my life.” Like countless children who endure abuse, she felt that what was happening was wrong, but did not fully question it. That changed when she was 9 and her mother asked her some questions about how her father acted, to which she responded by nodding her head. After that, she heard her mother raise her voice to her father for the first time. “I didn’t understand that my father simply denied any wrongdoing and became more secretive and dangerous from then on.” Pro-tip: if you suspect that your spouse is molesting or otherwise abusing your child, go to the police, not to your spouse. Things did not get better for Jessica from that point on. Over time, her father tightened his grip on his growing family. “Suffice it to say my father controlled the family in every single area of life.” Even when they became reality stars, they were no safer than before. “Underneath the outward foundations of family, religion and homeschooling with an emphasis in the arts, there was a constant current of manipulation, domination, fear, and favor.” Like countless children who grow up under those circumstances, she could not conceive that her life could be different or better. “There was very little room inside the bubble of my world to imagine that there was any alternative.” Like countless abuse survivors, reflecting upon her childhood fills her with disgust. “Looking back now, it’s almost impossible to face the fact of what my life once used to be.” When you are living through trauma like this, your mind conjures up coping mechanisms that “help” you to adapt to the unspeakable. “Many things were normal for me that should have never been met with anything other than outrage.” “The abuse developed and ebbed at various intervals over the years and into puberty.” Over time, he seemed to lose some interest in sexually abusing her. “The most graphic sexual abuse faded off for me when I was around seventeen years old but many inappropriate actions and attentions continued.” She came to the grim realization that she was not his only victim. “I feel like I truly knew that certain other members of my family were being sexually abused and I felt they knew this about me too. Conversations were had, tears were cried and we questioned how to ‘deal’ with the ‘situation.'” She was almost 23 before something happened that caused the coping mechanisms that she had developed begin to break down. “I came into my hotel room that night to find my mother and some of my sisters sitting on the bed crying with that look on their face I had seen so many times before.” Sometimes, it takes one event to shatter the denial. “The coldest, blackest pit opened up in my stomach because no words needed to be said for me to know something had happened.” Some survivors are haunted by needless guilt and the feeling that they failed to protect their younger siblings from suffering as they suffered. It is never their fault. “How was I here again? I could not stay in denial about my past because it obviously wasn’t staying in the past even though at times I had tried so hard to forgive and forget.” Part of what makes PTSD so difficult is the P — for post . Everything that you’ve been denying just to survive comes back to you. Even if you aren’t yet safe. “Things were not over. They had never been over. Sexual abuse was still happening.” Eventually, she wrote 14 pages of details of what her father had done to her. She showed it to her mother, who was outraged. “I had taken my first step towards speaking out, but I had shared my story with another victim trapped in the same prison as me.” Sadly, many children who are abused find that the only people who know are also victims. “My father lashed out at both of us with whatever threats necessary to maintain his control and began consistently threatening my mom with the lives of the entire family.” Her father fits the profile of a potential family-annihilator very specifically. When they fear losing control, they can turn turn a house of horrors into a house of hostages. “My father sought to stamp out my rebellion and became increasingly violent towards me even in front of the family.” It was this abuse, from assaulting her in front of the family on a tour bus to beating her with a belt, that made her realize that his threats of violence if she tried to leave were no longer effective. Just before her 24th birthday, she finally made her escape. “Around 4 months after I left, another friend stepped forward to save the rest of my family. He reported my father for suspicion of sexual abuse and the official investigation started. The case was given to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.” And yes, she helped. “When they contacted me, I went in and ended up speaking with them the whole rest of that day.” She had an entire lifetime’s worth of unspeakable trauma to share. And that was just about what had happened to her . “I was able to give them a long and confident testimony which was eventually used to create the arrest warrant.” Her father was, of course, arrested. Given the limits of the US legal system, he was sentenced to 40 years, and he will be required to serve all of that time. Jessica is now married to the man who first helped her to come to terms with what had happened to her.
