According to a new study published in the Lancet journal by the World Health Organization, between the years of 1980 and 2014, the number of adults who have diabetes has quadrupled to a whopping 422 million. It is not only becoming more and more prevalent in the States, but is also turning into a major issue in poor countries as well. The rapid increase in Type 2 diabetes is being blamed on our diets and limited active lifestyles… Data from around 4.4 million adults of all different ages from all different regions was studied.
