It’s been roughly 13 minutes since Eddie Murphy departed as Oscar host, and already we have a strong frontrunner to replace Brett Ratner’s comeback kid: The Muppets. Supporters rallied on Twitter for their consideration, and now an official “The Muppets Should Host the 2012 Oscars” campaign has been launched on Facebook . We offered up the idea of a Muppet-emceed Oscars in our possible host roundup yesterday, but would the reality of Kermit, Miss Piggy, and Gonzo at the dais be as enchanting as we want?

Gone are the days of $700 haircuts. Here are the days of Kate Gosselin spotted out and about in Reading, Pa., at Target with daughters Mady and Cara. They sure got huge since the Jon and Kate Plus 8 glory days! The infamous reality mom did a little early holiday shopping as the paparazzi, who are somehow still camped out in middle-of-nowhere-PA, looked on: Ever since her reality show got dropped by TLC, Kate has been whining that she’ll be broke without Kate Plus 8 , but has apparently come back to earth a bit. In addition to shopping at Target and spending time at home, she’s been running a website and Twitter account detailing the ins and outs of life as a mom. A recent entry dealt with attacking the laundry . Last night she added: “Can I just say how HAPPY I am to b in my bed??! What a day oh my oh my! I smile at my bed after days like these! GN all! Kim Kardashian Televised Her Wedding for YOU

Kim Kardashian is nothing if not giving of herself to Ray J on camera in order to get famous and make lots of money . In the latest issue of InStyle Australia , the reality star is asked why she televised her wedding to Kris Humphries and she gives a simple, totally believable answer: she did it for us, people. “We took weeks to decide if we were going to film it or not,” Kim lies her giant ass off tells the magazine. “But I felt like my fans – everyone that has gone on this journey with me, seeing different relationships that I’ve been in – would feel cheated if I didn’t film it. It was something that Kris and I were okay with, and the beauty of it is we get to edit it. It [will be] great to look back at that and see this time in our lives.” That sure will be a nice feeling. We’re guessing the phoniest woman in Hollywood also won’t mind looking back at the number of zeroes on the checks she earned from this completely selfless act.

A family that plays together, stays together… According to TMZ reports : T.I. is making up for lost dad time — after 11 months in federal custody, the rapper spent last Saturday afternoon at his son’s football game in Atlanta … and his reality TV crew filmed the entire heartwarming bonding sesh. T.I.’s son, Clifford “King” Joseph Harris III — one of his five biological children — turned 7 on August 25th … four days before the rapper was released. You can tell from the pics — T.I. had a field day. Flip through to peep the pics.

Khloe Kardashian on Child-Bearing: Tough Work!

Hey, did you hear that Khloe Kardashian wants to have kids? It’s true. She’s mentioned it a couple times. Once here … again here … and, oh, again over here . However, because the world absolutely must know the state of Khloe’s womb at all times, the reality star brought up the topic of pregnancy again this morning as a guest host of The Today Show . “It’s so hard. I never knew about ovulation and the limited amount of time that you have to get pregnant,” she said. “I never knew about that. No one ever taught me that.” Well, of course not. Instead of talking about what takes place on one’s wedding night, your mother was busy explaining how a contrived marriage can bring in major buck. “We would love to have kids,” Khloe said of her and husband Lamar Odom. “[But] when you have schedules such as ours, it’s really hard to hit that mark.” For the record: the NBA is currently enduring a lockout and Khloe doesn’t have a job.

T.I. Released From Prison, Sent Back To Halfway House

T.I. has finally returned to a halfway house to complete his prison sentence. The ATL rapper was originally yanked out of the halfway house last week and returned to prison for allegedly engaging in talks with producers for his reality show on his tour bus. T.I.’s lawyer, Steve Sadow, told TMZ, “We have good reason to believe that this favorable result was reached because of the proactive and assertive approach taken to protect T.I.’s rights by providing B.O.P. officials and the media with reliable and accurate information and that T.I. did not intend to violate his transfer furlough or any other B.O.P. rules en route from the prison facility in Arkansas to the halfway house in Atlanta.” The lawyer also added that, “T.I. will be released from custody on Sept. 29, and then will be supervised by the U.S. Probation Office for a period of 1 year.” SOURCE: Hip Hop Wired RELATED POSTS: 2 Unauthorized People On T.I.’s Luxury Bus [REPORT] Tiny On T.I. Farrah Abraham to Mom & Daughter: PEACE OUT!

“I would never leave Sophia.” – Farrah Abraham on last night’s Teen Mom Despite this proclamation, it appears the youngster did exactly that, leaving her daughter with her mother in Iowa while she “attends school” in Florida. According to Life & Style , the reality star has been in Ft. Lauderdale for months, while her mother, Debra Danielson, is now Sophia’s primary caregiver. Was this move altruistic or purely selfish? Somewhere in the middle? Farrah Abraham said this about her decision to leave Sophia: “I want her [Sophia’s grandmother] to be there for Sophia when I need to take care of my responsibilities, my education and earning an income for both of us.” Not that this wasn’t a difficult decision. In fact, the 20-year-old admits, “I’m tugged in many different ways daily – but I don’t want to limit myself or Sophia.” What do you think? Is Farrah really doing this for Sophia, or was she simply not up to the task of being a mom? She could have gone to school A LITTLE closer to home, or taken beautiful little Sophia with her to Florida. We’re just saying.
