Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Divorce: How Much is at Stake? What goes around comes around, has never been more apt than it is right now for Jennifer Aniston. Though she has handled it like a champ, Aniston has been the source of “poor, abandoned wife” stories since Brad Pitt left her for his Mr & Mrs. Smith co-star, Angelina Jolie. Yesterday, Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt after two years of marriage and twelve years as a couple. And though, we’ll never hear her give a statement on the news, those of us on Team Aniston are hoping she had at least one smug moment yesterday. According to Us Weekly she did. However, since she’s a classy broad, she did it behind closed doors with a “longtime pal.” “Yeah, that’s karma for you! ” Aniston reportedly told this pal. This is poetic justice for Aniston. Do you realize how many stories have been published that either blame her for Pitt’s wandering eye or the fact that she didn’t give him a child? Though Aniston has risen above the nasty headlines and moved on with husband Justin Theroux, there’s naturally a part of her that doesn’t feel all that sorry for her ex. “She always got the sense that something would happen with them eventually,” the source told the weekly publication. “She didn’t feel that Angelina was truly the one who Brad was meant to stay with. “She always felt that Angelina was too complex for him. He’s a pretty simple guy.” A second source added that Aniston “admittedly feels sort of satisfied about Brad and Angelina’s split,” but “never wanted this for them or wished this on them.” There’s a glimmer of hope for humanity when even your worst enemy/ex-wife doesn’t wish you any ill will. “Jen does wish Brad luck and the best. She feels like she’s happy, and she wants him to be happy too,” the source said. A good thing, too, since Pitt is dealing with all sorts of negativity from his second marriage at the moment. Jolie stated in court documents that she wants sole physical custody of their children, while requesting that Pitt have joint legal custody and visitation rights. “They fought a lot over the years and disagreed about many things,” a source told Us . Ultimately, Jolie wanted a healthy environment for her family, and didn’t think Pitt was providing that.
Considering how horrific the Josh Duggar sex scandals were, it’s pretty surprising that it was so easy for the Duggar kids to land their own 19 Kids and Counting spin-off. Sure they had to promise that Josh Duggar would never appear on their new series, but they were never forced to issue a public apology, and yet many of their fans proved surprisingly quick to forgive and forget. But the family was never able to re-capture the semi-mainstream appeal that it enjoyed with 19 Kids , and Counting On continues to struggle in the ratings. Even worse (at least for the network execs who will soon decide if the show deserved to be brought back for a third season) the Duggars are scaring off advertisers left and right. In fact, several major corporations have not only pulled their spots from Counting On, but announced that they will no longer advertise on TLC at all . In short, the future’s not looking bright for a show that probably never should’ve existed at all. Perhaps that’s why the Duggar kids are rumored to be seeking out a graceful way to make an exit from the series that was supposed to rebuild their reputations. At least that’s our best guess at why (according to Life & Style ) the kids would be interested in abandoning the only source of income most of them have ever known: Thus far, that cover is all we have to go on. The tabloid is (perhaps wisely) saving the good stuff for its print edition But short of TLC offering the Duggars the chance to make it looks as though they’re walking away of their own accord, why would the kids (several of whom now have kids to raise) choose to part ways with the network that made them famous? Well, there is one other explanation we can think of: It’s possible that yet another scandal has befallen the family, but given how poorly they’ve covered up their recent indiscretions, and how brazenly they’ve attempted to resurrect their careers, we doubt there’s any controversy that could send this family running from the airwaves. Sure they managed to conceal Josh’s sex crimes for over a decade, and it’s unlikely they would’ve been able to sweep it under the rug if they were under the type of public scrutiny they receive these days. Just don’t be surprised if TLC forgets about all of this and gives them another show in two months. They seem to have pretty short memories over there.
Things have gone from bad to worse for Rob Kardashian and his pregnant fiancee, Blac Chyna. Not only have they been fighting ever since their reality show, Rob & Chyna started filming, but now they’re sleeping in separate bedrooms . According to Radar Online , Chyna is entering her third trimester, which means that she’s getting more uncomfortable and is likely finding it hard to sleep through the night. “Blac is getting up several times a night right now and Rob cannot take it anymore,” a source told the site. “Every time she gets up, Rob thinks that something is wrong because he is a total hypochondriac.” All this worrying is really throwing Kardashian off his REM cycle. “She is just really pregnant right now and Rob wants his sleep!” For those of you who haven’t been Keeping Up With Rob Kardashian (I had to), you’re aware that he kind of acts like a baby from time to time. “Blac Chyna cannot play mommy to Rob right now because the roles have reversed and he is taking care of her,” the source added.
