So sad… New Orleans Toddler Killed By Grandmother’s Gun The grandson of a 45-year-old security guard is dead after his grandmother’s gun accidentally went off. NOLA.com reports: A 42-year-old grandmother has been arrested in the shooting death of her 3-year-old grandson, killed early Wednesday (Jan. 20) inside her eastern New Orleans home. Investigators think Deonca Kennedy was sleeping in a bed with the toddler when a gun beneath her pillow discharged, striking the boy in the chest, the Police Department said. Police received a call at 2:12 a.m. about the shooting in the 5600 block of Red Maple Drive. The boy was taken to the hospital, where he later died, police said. Kennedy, who works as a security guard, was booked with negligent homicide, second-degree cruelty to a juvenile and child desertion. The grandmother was the only one home at the time of the shooting, police said. She did not give a statement to police or cooperate with investigators, they said So many questions here; why was the gun under the pillow? Was the child trying to rest sleep when it went off? According to a RadarOnline report, Jennifer Lopez has allegedly spent a pretty penny to remix her baby-torn body after dropping two kids from her multi-talented womb. Photos of the damn-near-50-year-old walking into the Jimmy Kimmel Live studio has raised quite a few eyebrows, amongst other things… “She’s definitely had her breasts done and whoever did [it] should be congratulated for doing a fine job!” said New Jersey plastic surgeon Dr. Lyle M. Back, who has not treated Lopez. “She looks like she’s definitely on top of her game,” he added. “Pictures from the last couple of years showed that her breasts and butt were really deflated and saggy,” said Dr. Back. “That’s normal for a mother of her age with two kids.” “It looks like somebody gave her a lift with silicon implants,” Dr. Back said. “She looks to be a D or DD now.” “Nothing about her is overdone,” he complimented her apparent procedures. “She looks as good now as she did 15 years ago. His mixtape … Man Pulled Over By Cops Gives Them His Mixtape A Florida man who was stopped by the cops raised eyebrows after authorities say he declined to give them his license—and passed them his mixtape instead. The Sun Sentinel reports: After being pulled over on suspicion of reckless driving in front of a Delray Beach high school, police officers asked for Volvique Louis Jean Jr.’s driver’s license. Instead, police said, he pulled out something else with his name on it — his homemade rap CD. Jean Jr., 18, was arrested on Wednesday by the Palm Beach County School District Police. Police said Jean Jr. pulled up to Atlantic Community High School in Delray Beach just before 3 p.m. on Oct. 28 along with two other cars. They sped into the school’s bus loop, narrowly missing students being dismissed from school, police said. Officers in a golf cart followed the cars, pulled into the center of the road and forced the three cars to stop. When they walked up to Jean Jr.’s car, they asked him for his driver’s license. He pulled out his new CD. One of the other people in another car yelled out to the officer that they were just at the school to pick up a friend. According to the arrest report, the officers said they recognized some of the people in the cars — including Jean Jr. — as former students. The cars peeled out into the road and fled the scene, almost hitting more students as they left, according to the arrest report. Jean Jr. is charged with fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license and trespassing on school grounds.
