Convicted Woman Beater Greg Hardy Cracks Jokes About Tom Brady’s Wife Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy was convicted of domestic abuse in 2014, upon appeal, the woman he “allegedly” beat, refused to show up to testify and thus, had all charges dropped against him. The NFL suspended Hardy for the first 4-games of the season, but this week he will be making his return against shady Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Reporters surrounded his locker yesterday after practice for comments and what Hardy said is undoubtedly going to rub a LOT of women the wrong way. According to the Dallas Morning News : “I love seeing Tom Brady, he’s cool as crap,” Hardy said, according to the Dallas Morning News. “Have you seen his wife? I hope she comes to the game. I hope her sister comes to the game, all her friends come to the game. One of my favorite games of the year, guys.” (Brady responded Wednesday by saying “I don’t care about his personal feelings.”) That’s right. A convicted domestic abuser decided that it would be a good idea to make wisecracks about women. He wasn’t done yet, however… After, a reporter reportedly said the wife of Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles was also attractive. “Is she?” Hardy replied. “this kind of information is important. That’s how I select my Pro Bowls.” HAHAHA! What a funny woman-beater this Greg Hardy is! Karma is real… Woman Tries To Pour Acid On Boyfriend, Pours Acid On Herself A Cambodian woman is making international headlines after she tried to carry out an acid attack on her boyfriend and it splashed into her face. The Daily Mail reports: A jilted girlfriend has suffered serious burn injuries after carrying out a botched acid attack on her former lover, police say. Ung Limey, a 21-year-old from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, attempted to pour acid on her ex fiance while riding behind him as a passenger on his motorbike. Although she injured her intended target, she failed to account for the large amount of the chemical that would be blown back across her own face. To make matters worse, Leng Socheata, 23, crashed moments later due to the intense pain caused by the burning acid, causing further injuries to the pair. Police arranged for Leng to be taken to hospital while Ung fled before they arrived, and police believe she has been treated for her burns at a private hospital. Mok Borunchhorsak, a police spokesman in the Prampi Makara district of Phnom Penh, where the incident happened, said: ‘We are currently looking to find the young woman who allegedly doused her former boyfriend with acid as she rode behind him on a motorbike. ‘His family said it was an act of revenge after they had persuaded him to break off the relationship. ‘We have visited all of the state hospitals and there was no sign of her, and we suspect that means that she has been treated in a private hospital.’ Local media reported photographs of Ung with a bandaged face had surfaced on social media. The injured boy’s uncle, Sok Sorin, said that they had managed to persuade him to stop seeing her after finding out that she had been arrested for jewellery theft and drug-related offences. McGraw-Hill To Rewrite Textbooks After Mom Complains About Slavery Term Book publishing giant McGraw-Hill is saying it will rewrite a textbook after a Pearland mother voiced concerns on YouTube about the portrayal of slaves as immigrant “workers” in her son’s school book . Via ABC 7 Chicago : In the video, Texas mom Roni Dean-Burren calls out the textbook, “World Geography.” Dean-Burren pointed viewers to a section called “Patterns of Immigration.” Reading from the book, she notes the inclusion of slaves as immigrants. “‘Immigrants,’ yeah, that word matters,” Dean-Burren said, “(Reading from the text) ‘The Atlantic slave trade between the 1500s and the 1800s brought millions of workers from Africa to the southern United States to work on agricultural plantations. So (slavery) is now considered ‘immigration’.” She adds, in an adjacent section on European immigrants, that many came as “indentured servants to work for little or no pay.” Dean-Burren continues, “So they say that about English and European people, but there is no mention of Africans working as slaves or being slaves. It just says we were workers.” Dean-Burren also pointed out in her video that several professional consultants and the Texas Advisory Board are listed in the front of the book, and supposedly signed off on the book’s text. McGraw-Hill responded to Dean-Burren on its Facebook page, saying they would fix the section in the next print run and on their digital version of the book. Facebook/YT
