Oscar De La Renta Snubs His Adopted Son In Will Late fashion designer Oscar de la Renta held a grudge against his adopted son that went from 2005 until after his death, ultimately denying his only legal offspring his true stake in his father’s fortune. Via MailOnline : Late fashion designer Oscar de la Renta has snubbed his adopted son – a designer at his label – in his $26 million will after the pair fell out 10 years ago. Moises de la Renta was adopted by the couturier from an orphanage in the Dominican Republic following the death of his first wife Françoise de Langlade in 1983. Moises, 30, has now been left a relatively small bequest from his late father’s $26 million estate – and has been warned that if he ever tried to contest the will he would be cut out completely, court documents show. The pair fell out after Moises attempted to launch his own women’s fashion line in 2005. His father, who is considered one of the most iconic designers of all time and dressed everyone from Jackey Kennedy Onassis to Amal Clooney, never forgave him for the move, Page Six reports. Annette de la Renta was bequeathed the majority of her husband’s real estate portfolio, including a $13million Park Avenue apartment in New York, a $2.8million house in Kent, Connecticut and his estate in Dominica. Rather than Moises, de la Renta’s stepdaughter Eliza Bolen was named as an alternate executor of the will, Page Six reports. In 2005, The Post reported Moises was building his own fashion ’empire’ which aimed ‘to bring the de la Renta aura to a younger crowd’ but the line, MDLR Black, never took off. Oscar later publicly lashed out at his son and told New York magazine: ‘Moises did a little line, five or six pieces. But that doesn’t make a fashion designer.’ Yikes. Teen Posts Craigslist Ad Seeking To Rent Family For Bday An incredible 19-year-old Denver woman is turning to Craigslist for an unusual, and heartfelt request. Via The Denver Channel : Natalie Carson said she grew up in foster care and was never adopted. She posted an ad on Craigslist in hopes of finding a family to spend time with her on her birthday. It’s a request that may seem so simple, but Carson says it will help make a usually difficult day, special. “It’s something that I’ve never really had. Of course, I’ve had birthdays, but they haven’t been good,” she said. “Usually every birthday is really painful and hard.” Carson said she was a baby when she was first placed in foster care in Colorado. She was quickly adopted and moved with her adoptive family to Georgia. “They were abusing me and so I got placed back into foster care when I was 12,” Carson said. At 18, she aged out of the system. On her own for the first time, Carson took a bus back to Colorado. “I really didn’t know anything, but I knew I was born here,” she said. 7NEWS looked further into this cycle and found that last year in Colorado, more than 200 teens aged out of foster care, according to the Department of Human Services. “There’s something more, you know, than just me because there’s a million more of me,” Carson said. Experts tell 7NEWS it’s not unusual for birthdays, graduations, and holidays to be difficult for youth without families. Carson said she found support at Urban Peak, a Denver shelter that helps young people experiencing homelessness. The student was able to get her GED and is now working and attending college with a focus on computer science. As for the heartfelt ad on Craigslist, Carson said she didn’t think anyone would answer — but turns out several people have already reached out to her. “It felt good I was happy, and I’ve been talking to one family in particular,” she said. Carson has hope that she’ll finally have the birthday she’s always wanted. “I felt like having one day where it’s OK — this is about me and it’s my birthday,” Carson said. “I don’t have this big elaborate plan or anything, I just wanted it to be good.” On Friday, Natalie said she’s grateful for an outpouring of support but overwhelmed by a flood of emails as her story has received international news coverage. She’s talking with people who have offered to help make her birthday special. Now she’s asking others who want to help to instead support other foster care children or organizations that aid foster kids. We hope this young lady gets the birthday party she deserves!

Via HuffPo : The couple split in early April after 10 years of marriage and March is challenging the prenup under which Flay is required to pay the actress $5,000 a month. In Touch reports that March is challenging the prenup on the grounds that Flay allegedly cheated on her with three women, including actress January Jones. A source familiar with the case told the magazine that the former “Law & Order: SVU” actress is claiming in court papers that the 50-year-old celebrity chef “committed adultery” with Jones several times in the in early 2010. The magazine also reports that March has accused Flay of cheating with a food stylist and his assistant. Page Six previously reported that it’s believed the couple’s prenup had no infidelity clause, and if true, March’s claims likely would not help her cause. However, TMZ reported that the actress also filed documents claiming that it’s her “amazing palate” that is responsible for his success. Reps for Flay and Jones have yet to respond to requests for comment. Put a fork in this relationship because Bobby Flay ain’t isht!

Jagged Edge’s Kyle Norman Marries Girlfriend After Choking Her Earlier this year we reported that Jagged Edge member Kyle Norman was arrested on aggravated assault charges . The singer choked his fianceé by shoving her wedding ring down her throat. Norman’s fiancée, Marrika Maria, has recently taken back and the catch fade couple even decided to get married after the domestic dispute… Via Rolling Out : Marrika is in the process of writing a book for battered women. Marrika explained the term battered woman was once a terminology she was very much embarrassed about, however, since the incident in January,she has learned to embrace the term and help other women seek comfort. I am on several different pain medications which keep me up. I am not able to get more than three hours of sleep. I’m attending counseling three times per week and I know in my heart that God will help me get through this. I’m blessed to be alive and still have the love and support of my family I am finding it easier each day to shun the haters that leave me text messages and voicemails,” says Marrika. Norman also said this about taking responsibility for his actions… “Fellas, we as men have a problem with our apologies. If you make a mistake, own up to it and man up! That’s what I had to do to get my queen back. I apologize to my brothers of Jagged Edge, to my family, my wife and my fans and anyone I let down.
