Getty Images A 15-Year-Old Got Caught Selling Drugs From Her Bedroom A 15-year-old girl in Massachusetts is said to have sold drugs to customers from her bedroom window, and the police allege it was all with her mother’s blessing. Investigators in the rural town say they discovered not just marijuana, but cocaine, the opioid fentanyl, and two unlicensed handguns with ammunition. Beside the dangerous drug paraphernalia, the police also seized just over $1,000 in cash, believed to have been obtained by the teenager selling drugs. The mother, Heather Vittorioso, 37, was arrested and charged with a number of crimes that include possession of a firearm without a license, unlicensed possession of ammunition, reckless endangerment to a child, drug possession, cocaine trafficking, and conspiracy to violate drugs laws. The 15-year-old girl faces a number of charges in juvenile court. The mother told detectives that she was indeed aware that her daughter was selling weed, but insisted that she knew nothing about the other narcotics they recovered. Their neighbors snitched and said that they heard people walking up the steps of the multi-family home at all hours of the night. It looks like encounters with the police run in the family, the 15-year-old’s father was arrested just back in September and charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, and assault in connection with a stabbing.

The entire franchise is supposedly about finding love, so that’s no surprise, but how that process relates to contestants playing winter games is unknown. The event isn’t just for those from the US series either, this new show will feature contestants from the US, UK, Switzerland, Japan, Australia, China, Canada, Sweden and Finland. With this idea, they’ve managed to make a show filled with 90% white contestants that much whiter. It’s safe to say that 22 seasons in, this franchise is truly milking their viewership for all its worth.

More importantly, one of the main objectives of the initiative is to raise money ($15 million is the goal, with over $13 million already raised) to fund legal representation for the women who will need it most. Along with social media posts from some of the most famous actresses and directors in the business, the website for the initative published an open letter that acknowledged how the revelations about Harvey Weinstein and other alleged creeps helped bring attention to the problem, while admitting it was mainly when the actresses involved received a letter of solidarity from the Alianza Nacional de Campesinas (the National Farmworker Women’s Alliance) that they knew something bigger must be done. “It’s very hard for us to speak righteously about the rest of anything if we haven’t cleaned our own house,” Shonda Rhimes, the executive producer of the television series “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal” and “How to Get Away With Murder,” who has been closely involved with the group, told the NY Times “If this group of women can’t fight for a model for other women who don’t have as much power and privilege, then who can?” Ms. Rhimes continued. Other Time’s Up members include the actresses Ashley Judd, Eva Longoria, America Ferrera, Natalie Portman, Rashida Jones, Emma Stone, Kerry Washington and Reese Witherspoon; the showrunner Jill Soloway; Donna Langley, chairwoman of Universal Pictures; the lawyers Nina L. Shaw and Tina Tchen, who served as Michelle Obama’s chief of staff; and Maria Eitel, an expert in corporate responsibility who is co-chairwoman of the Nike Foundation. “People were moved so viscerally,” said Ms. Eitel, who helps moderate Time’s Up meetings, which began in October. “They didn’t come together because they wanted to whine, or complain, or tell a story or bemoan. They came together because they intended to act. There was almost a ferociousness to it, especially in the first meetings.” Time’s up is run by volunteers, there is no formal leader. The initiative is also formed by several groups, including one which oversaw the creation of a commission, led by Anita Hill which is working towards making a blueprint for ending sexual harassment in entertainment. There’s another group called 50/50by2020 which is pushing entertainment organizations and companies to agree to reach gender parity in their leadership tiers within two years. Lena Waithe is working with yet another organization to ensure minorities and gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people are heard. “No one wants to look back and say they stood at the sidelines,” said Lena Waithe, a star of the Netflix series “Master of None” and part of that working group. studioEAST/Getty Images Snapchat Is Flying Employees From Around The World For NYE Party TMZ has reported that Snapchat and its CEO Evan Spiegel dropped some serious cash in order to rent out the Microsoft Theater, and every venue facing Microsoft Square including Katsuya, Lucky Strike, Tom’s Urban, Conga Room and Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill for New Years Eve. The price? $4 million. Apparenly Spiegel is paying to fly Snapchat employees from all around the world to attend the Los Angeles festivities and it has been reported that Snapchat secured proper permits to host as many as 5,000 guests. As if that’s not already enough of a reason to love your employer, apparently the extravagant festivities are to be topped off with a special performance, and according to TMZ, the special guest is Drake . Though Snapchat wouldn’t confirm Drake being apart of the event,they did say, “We’re excited to celebrate a transformative year as a team. Evan is personally sponsoring the night’s performance.” What a dope event for this CEO to put on for his hardworking employees….what’s $4 million to a billionaire?
