Florida Man With Confederate Flag Hits Black Couple With His Truck A Florida man was arrested for yelling slurs and hitting a Black couple with his truck according to Cleveland reports: A dispute over a parking space led a man to yell racial slurs at a black couple, point out the Confederate flag on his van, then use the vehicle to ram the man and woman, police say. Donald Lee Hicks, 38, is now facing two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon in connection with the incident, local10.com reports. He was still being held in the Broward County Jail on a $40,000 bond on Tuesday, the Palm Beach Post reports. The confrontation occurred Saturday when Hicks tried to pull into a parking space on Dania Beach, police tell the Post. Shackus Davis, 41, and Veronica Larkins, 67, were standing in the space to save it for a family member. Hicks reportedly yelled at Davis and Larkins to get out of the way, but they refused. Hicks is accused of then yelling an obscenity and a racial slur, then making a reference to a Confederate flag on the vehicle, saying “Don’t you see what’s on the front of my truck?” He then hit the pair with his van, police say. Davis and Larkins were treated at the scene after complaining of knee injuries. The Florida racist had been arrested previously for violent crimes, including an assault on a firefighter, hitting a police officer, and battery. Lock this loser up!!!!

Actress Zoe Saldana Has Been Diagnosed With Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis Zoe Saldana has endured immense slander for her janky azz role as Nina Simone, but that’s not the only hardship she’s been dealing with according to PageSix … Zoe Saldana is opening up about suffering from Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, an autoimmune disorder in which the immune system turns against the body’s own tissues. “Your body doesn’t have the energy it needs to filter toxins, causing it to believe that it has an infection, so it’s always inflamed,” Saldana, 38, explained to the Edit. “You create antibodies that attack your glands, so you have to eat clean.” Saldana and husband Marco Perego are now gluten- and dairy-free. Raphael Kellman, MD of the Kellman Center in New York, who has never treated the actress, explained to Page Six that Saldana’s clean diet is a good tactic in tackling the autoimmune disease. “[Hashimoto’s thyroiditis] can be healed by addressing the root causes,” Kellman said. “Cutting out gluten if you have a gluten intolerance, and avoiding refined and processed foods can help. Find poultry, dairy and meat without antibiotics. Eating organic can make a huge difference because organic foods won’t have pesticides or chemicals that nonorganic foods have, which can trigger reactions.” Wow. Trump Names Omarosa Manigault “Director Of African-American Outreach” The Republican convention is on and crackin’ and we now have news via USMagazine that Donald Trump has named his trusty sidekick, Omarosa Manigault , to an official HNIC position in his campaign. Omarosa Manigault, a contestant on season 1 of Donald Trump’s reality show The Apprentice, has been named the director of African American Outreach for the presumptive GOP nominee’s campaign. She announced the news in an interview with MSNBC on Monday, July 18. Omarosa, 42, spoke from day one of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, telling MSNBC she was “very proud” to serve in her new role. “It’s really an extension of the work that the coalition has already been doing,” she said, referring to the National Diversity Coalition for Trump, where she was vice-chairman. “And so I’m very happy to take up that cause for Donald Trump.” MSNBC host Craig Melvin then showed the former White House employee a poll indicating that zero percent of African American voters in Ohio said they’d vote from Trump. “It would seem as if you have your work cut out for you, to say the least,” he teased. According to TMZ the answer is HELL NO: Public Enemy’s Professor Griff is shutting down rumors he and Dallas shooter Micah Johnson were pals … saying a photo of the two shaking hands was only a one time thing. Social media exploded with the image Friday after the pic was uncovered on Johnson’s Facebook page. Griff tells TMZ he never knew Johnson personally and was shocked to see his own face pop up following the shooting. Griff says he’s been bombarded with vociemails and other messages from people threatening to kill him and his family since the pic surfaced.
