Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood Season 4 Episode 1 Recap: New Cast Members, Same Drama

They’re back! After what seemed like an eternity, the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood crew made a triumphant return to TV screens, and boy, there was a lot of drama.  On Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood Season 4 Episode 1, Keyshia Cole joined the cast and had some upsetting things to report about her estranged husband, while some of the other stars made some significant changes to their lives.  Let’s get to it.  The biggest shocker of all was that Keyshia was a full-fledged regular on the series. She’s an excellent singer, so we’re glad we can watch her on a weekly basis.  “It’s been a long journey. We about to put out the album and we’re going on a new tour,” she explains in a confessional.  Talk quickly changed to Keyshia’s failed relationship with Daniel “Booby” Gibson, but she was surprisingly positive about reigniting the spark between them.  The shocking thing was that Keyshia did not blame him for their split, and revealed that they were still living under the same roof. She also complimented him on being a great father to their son.  Will they be able to fix their relationship? They do seem cute, and it’s certainly an interesting hook for Keyshia.  Meanwhile, Hazel-E was forced to open up about why she has been missing from social events.  “I was caught up in relationship drama with Mr. Katt Williams, but don’t get it twisted the comeback is real,” she says. She then went on to reveal that she’s no longer with Katt, and has traded him in for someone who is ten years younger than her.  That seems to be the trend these days, so go Hazel-E! Talk turned to Hazel-E wanting to invite Nikki, Teairra, Moniece, and Masika to an event of hers. She was still not on good terms with Masika but felt it was time to fix things.  Elsewhere, we got to find out that “a lot has changed” for Safaree Samuels. For a start, he’s in a brand new relationship with Nikki Baby.  Secondly, he’s funnier than ever before. He mingled with Booby and Fizz, and they got talking about his new relationship.  Safaree then said that Keyshia’s new song made it evident her relationship with Booby was on the rocks.  “I could definitely relate bro. I could relate to being in a public breakup in front of the world and having songs written about me,” Safaree says, clearly making a reference to himself and Nicki Minaj not being a thing.  At Hazel-E’s big event, Nikki shows up, and the other women are not impressed by her being invited.  Moniece says, “Does she ever wear anything other than ‘I’m open for business’ outfits?” Nikki should probably get ointment for that huge BURN.  Hazel made a grand entrance in a helicopter and got ready to perform, but Masika started yelling at the stage.  A drink was hurled at Hazel, and her security had to get involved to tell the women to shut the hell up.  Later, Hazel and Teairra argued about drifting apart, and Teairra said that Hazel was living off credit card fraud.  “Everything about this little Hollywood persona that Hazel is trying to present is fake,” Teairra says. Yes, it was a low blow, but we love all the tension between the cast so far. They are all against each other.  We also met a new cast member named Brooke Valentine and her boyfriend is still married, so there’s bound to be drama from that.  Finally, Zell joined in for karaoke night, and Alexis was not impressed with him being included, so she hurled a drink at him.  What did you think of all the drama? Leah Messer: I’d Put My Husband Ahead of My Kids (If I Had One)!

Leah Messer used to be one of the hottest messes in Teen Mom history. She was filmed nodding off while holding a baby, she lost custody of her twins because she couldn’t manage to get them to school on time … It was bad. Really bad. But after her trip to rehab a couple of years ago, she seems to be doing much better. These days, at long last, it finally seems like she’s starting to get her life together . And that’s why it’s extra odd that she chose to make such a controversial, concerning statement on Instagram. Last night, Leah reposted a quote from Christian life coach about marriage and children. “Ladies,” the quote read, “in marriage your husband comes first, then your child. As a single mother who isn’t married, of course you shouldn’t put any man before them, but that changes when you vow to be one with a man.” “He comes first as your partner, provider and protector.” And before you ask, no, this quote didn’t come from a Duggar woman’s social media page. This is actually from Leah. In the caption, she explicitly stated that she agrees with this sentiment … and her followers were not pleased. “This is the stupidest thing I have heard,” one of them wrote. “Your kids always come first, you married someone to start a life not to be their slave.” “What century do you live in because a man is NOT the only provider in a household in today’s world. And if he doesn’t care about his kids and more about his needs and wants then honey you married the wrong man.” “Nope, kids FIRST,” another person told her. “I am actually surprised that you think a husband should come first …” “Stupid! You have too many baby daddies to pull this!” another naysayer wrote. One of her followers even told her “You’re not a good role model for our 3 girls if you think that way. We don’t live in the year 1800 anymore. Take responsibility for your own be a strong woman.” And that’s just a small sample of the kind of criticism she’s been getting — so far, the post has over 2,000 comments, most of them from people who disagree with her here. And honestly, it really is surprising that she feels this way. It makes sense that it’s important to make marriage a priority instead of placing 100% of your time and energy into your children, but Leah’s a single mother. If she does remarry, of course she has to put her kids first, right? Not to mention any quote about depending on a man to be the “provider and protector” sends up red flags, especially because Leah has been providing for her children for many years now. It’s actually hard to imagine any relationship she’d be in in which she wasn’t the main provider, what with all that Teen Mom money . Then there’s the fact that in her previous marriages, her husbands didn’t come first, nor did her children — she actually put herself first. Remember, she cheated on both Corey Simms and Jeremy Calvert. We’re sure she’s grown since then though, and maybe she’s just interested in trying out new tactics for her next marriage, whenever that may be. But just be careful, girl. Big Brother Recap: A Reversal of Fortune

It’s crazy to think that Jessica and Cody were once pariahs in the Big Brother house. With Paul successfully getting Cody out of the game, Jessica seemed poised to hang around and be a vote for people when they needed it.  Apparently, they did not bank on America granting Jessica the Halting Hex power, which gives her the ability to cancel an eviction live on air.  Jessica reacted in shock to the return of Cody and quickly revealed to him that he needed to keep his mouth shut because she had repaired most of the relationships in the house they fractured.  Cody was happy to hear about it because he saw it as a reset for his game. He did reveal that they were going to be targeted from that point forward.  Jessica then dropped the bomb that she had the Halting Hex and that she would be able to save them if they were on the block. Cody was excited to learn this.  The other houseguests gathered to say it was ten against two and that they would find a way to get rid of Cody again. They understood they needed to ace the HOH competition.  During the competition, the other houseguests kept punishing Cody, so he had garbage, cement and other things thrown at him. On top of that, he had to contend with a man who yelled at him over parking.  Josh made it clear he and Jessica were his targets, and he would get one of them out of the house if he won the competition. He dropped out and immediately started trying to distract Cody.  It worked, and Cody dropped out. In the end, it was Christmas and Jessica fighting for the top spot. In a surprise move, Jessica won the competition, effectively securing Jody’s safety for two weeks.  They then noticed the houseguests who ditched them in the past appeared to try and get back in their good graces. Jessica revealed the only ones she could work with were Raven and Matt.  They both agreed they would work as a four-person alliance, but would Raven and Matt actually defect now? Well, they want safety for this week.  Josh tried to speak with Jessica, but Cody shut him down and said the pair would not be talking to him. Big Brother Recap: Another Twist Revealed

Tensions in the Big Brother house tend to skyrocket as we edge closer to an eviction, and things went into overdrive on the latest episode.  We picked up with the houseguests in shock over Josh publicly slamming Cody and Jessica. Alex noted that she was happy to let the argument rage on because it took the target off her own back.  Jessica chanted that Josh was a mere pawn for both sides of the house and that he should probably go and change his diaper. Cody decided there was no point in continuing the argument and walked off.  Paul followed and complimented him for taking his nomination like a man. Despite their differences, both of them knew when the other made a good move.  Later, Christmas gathered the houseguests and revealed that she needed major surgery on her foot. She explained that she was given the opportunity to leave the game, but she decided to stay in and fight it out.  Cody did not give a damn and felt like she was using the injury to advance her game further, and left the situation. Jessica, however, wanted to extend the olive branch to her.  Even though Jessica’s been Cody’s shadow all season long, she knew she needed to build relationships out with her relationship in order to make it further.  Christmas was not impressed with the way Jessica was going on about her reasons for wanting Christmas out. The funny thing is, Jessica had no clue about nominating Christmas.  It was a tense meeting, but the two women parted ways. There’s no chance of them ever finding a way to get along. Too much has been done for them to make things right.  Things went from bad to worse for Jessica when the houseguests celebrated Dominique’s birthday. Raven had made a cake, and the have nots did not get too have some.  Naturally, Jessica disappeared to another room and cried her heart out. Cody comforted her, but at least he got to eat cake.  Desperate to help Jessica’s game, Cody turned to Christmas to say that Mark and Dominique were in on the plan to get rid of Christmas from the get-go. Christmas was skeptical but took the information on board. He even went as far as telling her to work with Alex and Jessica. He may seem deluded at times, but at least he’s looking out for his girl. His plan took a bigger turn when he opened up about two people coming to him during his HOH reign. He revealed this to the house during Dominique’s talk show.  However, Dominique made a mistake by telling everyone there was a dominant group in the house and Paul was pissed. Everyone wondered why she would say something like that, but she did.  The target is most definitely on her now. It’s amazing how quickly things change in the game. One wrong thing can seal your fate.  At the eviction, Christmas was not present but managed to vote from the hospital. Yes, this is getting out of hand now. – Jessica votes to evict Ramses – Kevin votes to evict Ramses – Christmas (via phone from the hospital) votes to evict Ramses – Raven votes to evict Cody – Dominique votes to evict Cody – Mark votes to evict Cody – Jason votes to evict Cody – Josh votes to evict Cody – Elena votes to evict Cody – Matt votes to evict Cody The biggest shock in the voting was that Christmas voted to evict Ramses. It was bizarre and proved she could not be trusted.  Cody was evicted by a vote of 7-3-0! On his way out the door, he asked Jessica to be his girlfriend. To the surprise of absolutely no one, she accepted.  Julie then dropped the bomb that there will be a Battle Back next week, and Cody looked ecstatic. Big Brother Recap: Taking Shots

The veto meetings have long been a hilarious part of Big Brother. Emotions are heightened at the veto meetings because whatever is said during the gathering can dictate someone’s place in the game.  Through two veto meetings, we have had some of the most explosive confrontations yet, and it’s pretty darn exciting for us at home to watch.  When the episode got underway, Josh and Alex were on the block, and Cody confided in Jessica about Paul’s plan. They seemed to think Christmas and Paul were bullies.  Being an avid fan of the live feeds, all I’ve seen over the course of the summer is Jessica and Cody causing drama and thinking they are big competitors.  It’s true, they are just not good players, and they think that everyone else is bullying them. That says it all.  Anyway.  We finally got to find out what curse Christmas sent to Jason, Cody, and Jessica, and it was fantastic. They had to wear toad costumes for a whole week.  Jessica noted in the Diary Room that she was sure it was Christmas who unleashed the curse, but there was never really any question about it.  All the other houseguests could do was laugh at the players looking like fools.  Jessica and Cody knew they were toast if neither of them got to play in the veto and their worst fears came true when Elena and Matt were picked to play.  Jessica revealed that her only hope was that Ramses would win and take himself off because it would leave the nominations the same.  Paul and his team quickly locked on to Ramses and persisted with him to throw the competition, but Ramses made poor excuses and said he did not know what he would do.  In the end, he agreed to it, but when it came to the competition, he managed to come in second place. That immediately put him on the outs with Paul and his allies.  Thankfully, Paul eked out a win, and it gave him the power to change one of the nominations. As expected, Cody made his way to the block.  Josh, however, decided to self-destruct once again and called out both Jessica and Cody about the way they have played the game.  It was a classless move, but it was something Jessica and Cody would do, so I was all for it. Teen Mom OG Recap: Is Ryan Edwards Going to Die?!

This week on Teen Mom: OG, Catelynn lamented giving up her daughter for adoption, and Amber suffered a huge breakdown … again. Meanwhile, rumors of Ryan Edwards’ drug use continued and Farrah Abraham … well, one never knows what to make of Farrah Abraham. The focal point of  Teen Mom OG Season 4 Episode 9  was a trip to Puerto Rico for Catelynn Lowell’s birthday. Everyone was invited! Well, except for Farrah Abraham who deliberately wasn’t. Maci Bookout commented that “the only important people on the show” were attending. Call the fire department, someone got burned! Catelynn then summed up the snub this way: “I’m sure everyone’s gonna wonder why didn’t Farrah go? It’s ’cause she wasn’t invited.” That pretty much clears it up. Thank you, Cate. In Puerto Rico, the “important people” promptly delved into personal drama, such as whether Maci’s ex Ryan Edwards is on drugs . It’s a real concern, and Amber Portwood has been down a similar, dark road enough times to spot this problem a mile away. “Ryan’s f–ked up. I watch it. I see it.” “I know it. Where he’s at right now, when I see him, I know where he’s at and I’m just like, ‘Wow, he needs some guidance.'” Maci, who on last week’s Teen Mom OG said she wanted to get Ryan’s parents involved, said everyone is in denial about his battle. “What I’m saying is that everyone else around him is too afraid of what it will look like more than his health,” said Bookout. “Absolutely, it’s all denial. They all know.” “Honestly, the hardest thing is for me to see Ryan not love himself because he is a person worth loving. He deserves to love himself.” Bookout then broke down in tears and revealed her fear that Ryan will die of substance abuse and leave Bentley fatherless. “I’m just sick of cleaning up his mess. I get tired of dealing with the s–t. Just being the only one that f–ing sees everything and cares.” “I talk to Taylor about it like, ‘I wonder if today’s going to be the day that Ryan does something that he can’t come back from?'” Maci married Taylor McKinney, with whom she has two additional children, in 2016. Her confession had an impact on Catelynn. Lowell teared up and had to leave the table, while her husband, Tyler Baltierra, clarified that Catelynn still struggles with PPD. Not just from Nova’s recent birth, but Catelynn feels guilty for giving up Carly for adoption years earlier, her spouse revealed. “She’s got a lot of guilt,” Tyler said. Cate often thinks about how she “could have a 7, 8-year-old running around,” Baltierra said, and this can be simply unbearable. After opening up about her father’s death, Amber Portwood also stormed off crying, telling a producer, “That man stayed alive.” “Told me he was waiting for me to get married and s–t … I said I was gonna get married before my dad died and that never happened.” Matt Baier reminded her that she told him about their engagement; Amber and Matt actually getting married remains a murky prospect. Meanwhile, Farrah was off to South By Southwest to discuss her various business endeavors (she has a surprising amount of them). She also discussed her dating life. After being interviewed about her businesses at SXSW, the Teen Mom firebrand asked a reporter, “Can you hook me up on a date?” Asked what type of guy she might be interested in, the mom of one responded reasonably, saying, “Founder, badass, Forbes 500.” Simon Saran doesn’t qualify?! “I wanna be in L.A. but I love Austin, too,” she told her friend about her future plans, which no doubt involve conquering the world. Asked about her prior plan to move to San Diego with Simon, Farrah responded, “I feel like I’d get more work done in L.A.”  Of course. The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 10 Recap: Nostalgia’s a Bitch

The Vampire Diaries really likes to celebrate the past.  On The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 10 , we took a trip into Damon’s mind and there was no vampire in site. In fact, it was littered with past characters who really helped make the episode a poignant affair.  When the episode got underway, Bonnie showed up at the Salvatore mansion to find Damon in a catatonic state. Sybil then revealed she needed help finding the bell.  Caroline decided to help her if it meant saving Damon from his own mind. Bonnie and Caroline entered and noticed straight off the bat that Vicki Donovan was very much alive.  Bonnie thought she had been bitten by Damon, but it turned out Vicki was just a normal teenager who had no idea what vampires were.  Caroline, however, found out the hard way that her mother was not a fan of vampires. Caroline tried to join forces with her mother to locate Damon because of the animal attacks, but her mother kidnapped her because she knew she was a vampire.  Back in Mystic Falls, Stefan met up with Seline who told Stefan that if he rings the bell twelve times it would bring hell because it would destroy everything for miles, giving Stefan a lot of souls for Cade.  It was great to finally learn what the damn bell did, but it’s also a little farfetched how long it’s not been used for. Where was this when the heretics had taken over the town? Stefan compelled Matt to ring the bell if he did not forgive Damon for murdering Vicki before the hour was up. As you can probably expect, Matt started ringing the bell.  Back in Damon’s mind, Stefan showed up and Damon had a war of words with him. Damon blamed Stefan for turning him into a vampire and making him a murderer.  Damon then snapped out of his funk and killed Stefan. He then made his way to stop Matt from ringing the bell twelve times. Watch The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 9 Online The pair actually bonded. Damon apologized for murdering Vicki and Matt understood that Damon saved the town.  He said that goes a long way for him and Matt made off for the police station. He decided he wanted to become Sheriff again, while Damon revealed that he’s always had a good relationship with sheriffs in town.  Will these two seriously become friends?! Finally, Sybil and Seline met up and called a truce. They were tired of fighting each other, so decided to move on with their lives. However, Cade showed up and revealed that the ladies were finished helping him because they were so unreliable.  The pair combusted into flames and Cade said that he was going to take matters into his own hands in order to get the results he wants.  What a riveting episode, you guys! Hopefully the rest of the season manages to match this episode’s quality.  With Nina Dobrev on her way back as Elena , it sure seems like the show is surprisingly going out on a high.  What did you think of all the drama? Katherine Heigl Welcomes Baby #3!

Katherine Heigl may have a reputation as someone who is difficult to work with on set. But she’s also gaining a reputation as one of Hollywood’s most prolific mothers. According to People Magazine, the former Grey’s Anatomy star and husband Josh Kelley welcomed a little boy into the world back on Tuesday, December 20. His name is Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. Heigl and Kelley were already parents to girl Adalaide, 4, and Naleigh, 8, when they were blessed in life for the third time. The actress broke her pregnancy news to People in June of last year. “The Kelley clan is thrilled to announce that we are expecting a third addition to our family,” the star told the publication at that time, adding:  “Naleigh and Adalaide could not be more excited to welcome their new sibling into the fold, and Josh and I are overflowing with joy and gratitude.” Heigl is 38 and Kelley is 36 and the couple resides in Utah. After leaving Grey’s Anatomy amidst some controversy (most notably slamming the show’s writers one year for not giving her Emmy-worth material), Heigl starred in a number of pretty successful films. There was Knocked Up and 27 Dresses, for example. She then tried a return to television last year via the NBC drama State of Affairs, but it only lasted one season. She will next be seen in early 2017, giving the TV thing another try with CBS’ legal program Doubt. “This is an incredibly exciting time for us filled with hope, anticipation and hormones. Well, only I’m filled with hormones, but everyone in the family gets to enjoy them,” Heigl joked to People last summer. “We couldn’t be more excited to be able to finally share this news with our fans, and are looking forward to continuing to share the journey with you all.” Heigl made a point over the past few months to keep fans apprised as to the state of her pregnancy, both via her Instagram account and personal home and lifestyle blog, Heavenly Days. Here is one photo of the actress in her third trimester: “It’s hard enough for me to get motivated to work out when I’m not pregnant but now that I am it’s 10 times harder,” she blogged in September, explaining further: “I’m not up for weight training, lengthy cardio workouts or any of those new and fashionable exercise classes. What I am up for is yoga! Good thing plenty of those classes exist. While Heigl is now a three-time mother, this actually marked her first birth. She had adopted her two daughters. “We were considering adoption again, fostering, or pregnancy if possible,” she said in June, adding: “Seeing as I have never been pregnant and as my OB/GYN reminded me last year, I’m of advanced maternal age, I wasn’t sure pregnancy was even in the cards for us.
