Maybe you’ve been wondering what some of your favorite 70’s directors have been up to ever since they stopped making movies. It turns out that in the case of Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice and Blume in Love director Paul Mazursky, he’s just been laying low, waiting for someone to give him money to shoot an orgy scene in 3-D. Mazursky recently told The Wall Street Journal : “They want to remake Bob and Carol , and I said, ‘If you give me a lot of money upfront and you do the orgy in 3D, I’d be interested.'” Okay, this needs to happen. Here’s why.

Jon Favreau Out as Iron Man 3 Director

OK, not a huge surprise considering a lot of Favreau’s recent comments about the state of Marvel Studios, but it’s still sad to read reports that Jon Favreau has decided not to direct the third chapter of the Iron Man saga. Favreau recently told MTV, “This whole world … I have no idea what it is. I don’t think they do either, from conversations I’ve had with those guys.” So, yeah. That doesn’t sound like a guy itching to sign on for another go around. (His rep did not immediately return Moveline’s requests for comment; Deadline drew confirmation for Robert Downey Jr.’s side.) But look on the bright side: This totally creates an opening for Mike Leigh . [ Vulture ]

Susan Sarandon’s little girl is all grown up. Californication star Eva Amurri Tweeted that her relationship status has changed. “The most wonderful man on this planet is now my FIANCEE!!!! #Engaged!” There you go. The lucky man is soccer player and ESPN commentator Kyle Martino. The couple lives together in California. Here’s a photo of the happy pair … Congratulations to the future spouses! “What a week,” Amurri added, “I became a cartoon character, did a Maxim shoot, and got engaged! Lol. Not bad, not bad. Thanks for all the congrats!! Xoxo.” Amurri is the only child of Sarandon and director Franco Amurri. She has two sons with Tim Robbins, who she recently ended a 23-year relationship with.

Yo, his name is Robert Pattinson and he here’s to say: he once wanted to be a rapper in a major way… If this whole acting thing doesn’t work out, the Twilight Saga star recently told Monsters & Critics that his fallback career would be to make like a certain Grammy-nominated hip hop star. “I was obsessed with Eminem when I was younger. When he first came out I was about 12 and fanatical about his Slim Shady CD. I think he’s a genius,” Rob said. Adding that he even gave his crew its own name (The Big Tub and the Tappy Cats), Pattinson said “most of my rhymes were stolen off other people.” Maybe one day we can all listen to them. He says: “I’ve got a whole collection of tapes of me rapping from when I was 13! I wanted to be a rapper so there are hundreds and hundreds of tapes. They’re very amusing!” This guy cracks us up.
