Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman: Married!

Drew Barrymore and her fiance of five months, art dealer Will Kopelman, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony Saturday at her Montecito, Calif., home. It was “a classic, simple, very pretty, garden-inspired wedding ,” a source said. Guests included Jimmy Fallon and wife Nancy Juvonen, Busy Philipps and her husband, and Cameron Diaz, who were also present for the rehearsal dinner. The actress, who is pregnant with her first child, and was spotted trying on wedding veils at an NYC bridal shop in May, donned a Chanel gown Saturday. Fittingly, her new husband’s father, Arie Kopelman, is a former Chanel CEO. As the newlyweds look ahead to impending parenthood, friends say the former L.A. wild child, who is twice divorced, is eager to begin her life as a mom. Here’s wishing them the best of luck, and congratulations! [Photo: WENN.com]

‘Dancing With The Stars’ Latin Night Belongs To William Levy

Latin soap star compared to James Bond after Argentine tango Monday. By Kelley L. Carter Cheryl Burke and William Levy on “Dancing With the Stars” Photo: ABC With Monday as Latin night on ABC’s reality hit show “Dancing With the Stars,” it should have been Latin soap star William Levy’s week, right? It was. As the actor and his pro partner Cheryl Burke took on the Argentine tango, Levy played every bit the part of a Latin lover with dance skills, wearing an unbuttoned tuxedo shirt. The judges thought he hit all the right marks — and with a twisted ankle to boot. Carrie Ann Inaba said the actor looked like a “Latin-dancing James Bond.” 29/30 Here’s how everyone else fared: Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas Tying Levy at the top was opera singer Jenkins, who also danced the Argentine tango. The judges thought she was perfection and gave her one point shy of a perfect score for her efforts. Head judge Len Goodman said, “This, for me, was like a rose: It had beauty … but underneath was sharp.” 29/30 Maria Menounos and Derek Hough The TV journalist salsa’d her way to a great performance. The judges told her their dance was passionate, hot and had just the right amount of spice. The pair’s routine ended with a hot kiss on the lips. “I don’t think you needed the kiss! The salsa is all about the illusion of passion. Don’t go at it right in front of us,” Inaba said. 27/30 Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd The NFL hot shot danced the Argentine tango, and the judges praised him for his control and execution. Judge Bruno Tonioli said he did a “fantastic job.” 27/30 Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower The Disney star pulled off a routine that wasn’t exactly G-rated. But he kept it clean. Goodman told him he moved like “a young guy with his first car.” Inaba joked that he was “sexy in a Disney way.” 26/30 Jaleel White and Kym Johnson The childhood TV star danced the samba and bared a pretty impressive six-pack in the process. The judges were impressed by his moves, with Goodman telling him, “Your bum was going like you were chewing toffee.” 24/30 Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus The soul legend shook her stuff to the samba, and even though the judges were lukewarm on it, they still praised her. Tonioli told her she was magic, while Goodman said her moves were “simple, but effective.” 22/30 Melissa Gilbert and Maks Chmerkovskiy Gilbert did the salsa — a tough feat considering she was injured last week. In her rehearsal segments, she danced around in a neck brace and hard hat. The judges liked her stick-to-itiveness, and Inaba told her it was wonderful to see her gain confidence. Tonioli said she lacked an element of control. “I saw excellent parts and parts that weren’t so good,” Goodman said. 21/30 Gavin DeGraw and Karina Smirnoff The pop singer rounded out the bottom. He said in his rehearsal segment that he hoped to continue relying on votes from his fans to keep him in the game. He danced the samba, and the judges weren’t too impressed with his moves. “I don’t know whether to laugh or cry,” Tonioli said before adding, “I actually enjoyed it.” The other judges said it was missing key elements. 19/30 What did you think of this week’s “Dancing With the Stars”? Sound off below!

Question Of The Day: How Would Your Child Know This Person Wasn’t Born A Man???

A bunch of uptight, bible-belt-y moms have decided to wage war against the good folks at ABC for allowing Chaz Bono to appear on “Dancing With The Stars” with a female partner. These mothers and general LGBT haters feel like watching Chaz on DWTS would be traumatizing to children. They also feel like this is just another attempt to the LGBT lifestyle onto people who think its wrong. But our question is: how would your child know that Chaz Bono wasn’t born a man unless you told him or her? And for the kids who are big enough to know, don’t they kind of already know what’s up?

‘American Idol’ Judges Show Jacee Badeux Some ‘Mercy’

The 15-year-old ‘Idol’ hopeful flubbed lyrics after being tossed from group but pluck pushes him through to next round. By Adam Graham Jacee Badeaux at “American Idol” Hollywood Week Photo: FOX Jacee Badeaux doesn’t have typical “American Idol” looks or style, but he’s fast becoming a favorite in season 10 of the competition. Badeaux, the portly 15-year-old viewers were first introduced to when he blew the judges away with his unexpectedly soulful take on Otis Redding’s “Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay” during the New Orleans auditions, was the center of a whirlwind drama on Wednesday’s (February 16) episode. He bounced around looking to find his place during Hollywood Week’s notorious group round, and was tossed from his original foursome (with Clint Jun Gamboa, Monique de Los Santos and Frances Coontz) when floating country crooner Scotty McCreery joined their ranks. Of course, it was Jacee who’d first given the thumbs-up to allow McCreery to link up with them. Left without a group at 1 a.m. on the night before the big group auditions, a teary-eyed Badeaux sought the comfort of his parents. “It’s OK, baby,” his mother told him. “Either way, it just wasn’t meant to be.” Mom turned out to know best, and Badeaux quickly fell in with another group, led by fellow outcast Brett Loewenstern , the mop-topped, red-haired singer whose tales of being bullied have been well-documented this season. Despite the fact that he’d never heard Duffy’s “Mercy,” which the group had been rehearsing for hours, Badeaux joined them and began learning the song. But the rehearsal time wasn’t quite enough for Badeaux, who made no secret of the fact that he didn’t know the words when he hit the rehearsal stage. So to the tune of Duffy’s 2008 hit, a smiling Badeaux sang, “I don’t wanna go home, yeah yeah/ But this is really fun, yeah yeah/ But I’m gonna do this, ’cause I know that I won’t be going home … hopefully.” When asked by the judges why he didn’t know his parts, he told his story of being kicked out of his first group late the night before and began to well up with tears. As his fellow contestants in the audience rose to their feet and gave him a standing ovation, Randy Jackson noted, “Jacee, you got some fans out there, dude.” And despite flubbing the lyrics — usually a death knell at this point in the competition — the judges let him through to the next round. But that wasn’t it for Badeaux. Next up was the group that unceremoniously dismissed Jacee, and McCreery — who had essentially replaced him in the group — came clean to the judges’ panel and to his fellow contestants. “I just wanna go on the record and say, for me personally, I wanna apologize for not sticking up for [Badeaux],” he said. ” ‘Cause I love all of y’all, but Jacee’s the best kid in this competition.” After his mea culpa, McCreery and his fellow groupmates made it through as well. But now that Badeaux is building momentum, his biggest obstacle could be himself, and learning the pesky words to those songs. What do you think of Jacee Badeaux? Let us know in the comments! Michael Jackson: Too Weak to Perform For Years?

As we reported earlier, Dr. Conrad Murray is likely to argue at trial on involuntary manslaughter charges that Michael Jackson killed himself . Now, in addition to MJ accidentally delivering his own coup de grace in the form of a lethal Propofol dose, comes a second component to the theory. Jackson’s weakened state during various tours throughout life – including the 2009 London concerts that never took place – will be a focal point. THIS WAS IT : Jackson never made it on tour in 2009 . There’s “compelling evidence” MJ was in poor health whenever he went on tour, sources say, dating back to his Bad and Dangerous albums decades ago. Jackson was frequently “dehydrated, medicated, and sleep-deprived” and like with Dr. Conrad Murray , had a doctor who accompanied him on the road. The gist is that grueling concert schedules took a huge toll, leaving him prone to and demanding drugs to sleep, long before Murray was in the picture. The “This Is It” London tour was especially grueling, because AEG added dozens of concert dates for Michael, who was weaker than ever by last year. Not only that, the perfectionist was terrified he would fail to live up to expectations and pushed himself even harder to overcompensate for that fear. This dovetails into the defense theory that MJ was over-medicated and reduced to a shell of his former self after years spent under enormous pressure. By the time last spring rolled around, he couldn’t sleep he relied on Propofol to do the trick, and became increasingly frustrated when it did not work. The defense believes that when Dr. Murray walked out of the room June 25 and Jackson woke up, he accidentally infused himself with the fatal dose. What do you think? Is there any chance that’s true? Is that enough for reasonable doubt, or should Murray pay the price regardless? Here’s a clip of Michael rehearsing for a performance of “Human Nature” on his ill-fated tour. Does he look a bit wobbly or weak to anyone else? Michael Jackson Tour Rehearsal

B.o.B, Paramore And Bruno Mars’ VMA Medley: Making The Show

MTV News was in the rehearsal for the collaboration — and for B.o.B and Hayley Williams’ first meeting. By Jayson Rodriguez Hayley Williams of Paramore and B.o.B perform onstage during the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards Photo: Jeff Kravitz/Getty Images LOS ANGELES — B.o.B , Bruno Mars, and Paramore could teach a class in chemistry. The three acts blended together like they were one touring group during their medley performance of “Nothin’ on You,” “Airplanes” and “The Only Exception” at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night. It was the first time that the artists all came together in one setting, but during their rehearsal over the weekend , B.o.B , Mars, and Paramore singer Hayley Williams were playful and relaxed, which certainly helped set the tone for the big night. B.o.B and Mars’ sweet “Nothin’ on You” served as a dramatic introduction to Sunday’s performance, but when the pair rehearsed the number the day before, they were having plenty of fun, as they took turns trying to upstage each other with covers of songs by Drake and the Notorious B.I.G. Between takes, they also dished out a Jeffrey Osborne-like rendition of “Nothin’.” Mars began singing the tune in a low register, and B.o.B followed suit before the duo broke out laughing. The good vibes bled into the next portion as well. “Where are you guys?” Williams could be heard asking over her microphone. Although she was onstage with Mars and B.o.B, they were in the foreground and her view of them was obstructed by a pillar. Upon hearing her, B.o.B proceeded to make a beeline over to the Paramore frontwoman. Williams and B.o.B scored a top-five hit with “Airplanes,” and the track’s video earned multiple VMA nods, but the two had never physically worked with each other until the rehearsal . “We finally met for the first time,” B.o.B told MTV News on Saturday, turning to the camera excitedly, after hugging Williams. “I hope I don’t mess up.” “I’m gonna trip and fall,” Williams responded about their big performance. “Catch me, please!” Nobody fell, obviously, and the trio lifted one another up during the soaring medley, which was one of the night’s highlights. The Moonmen have all been handed out and the stars have gone home, but there’s plenty of 2010 MTV Video Music Awards news, interviews, behind-the-scenes scoop, party reports and more still to come, so keep it locked on MTVNews.com.
