Kim Kardashian "Handcuffed" to Kris Humphries, Lawyer Argues

The Kim Kardashian divorce case may have reached a tipping point today. First, Kanye West was actually deposed by an attorney for Kris Humphries, who asked the rapper… God only knows what about his relationship with Kardashian and how it has any bearing on her desire to ditch Humphries. Then, Kim’s lawyer – Laura Wasser – went off on the entire debacle, telling a Los Angeles County judge that her client is “handcuffed to Mr. Humphries… These delays are forcing her to be married. She wants to dissolve her marriage so she can move on with her life.” Aside from supplying readers with the easiest punchline ever, she makes a good point. Kris signed a prenuptial agreement. What is the hold-up here?!? Wasser also expressed irritation, according to TMZ sources, that Humphries and his legal team are dragging this mess out, considering they haven’t even deposed Kim yet. She referred to the case as a “fishing expedition.” In response, Kris’ lawyer said all Kim has to do is agree to an annulment (which would void the prenup) and everyone could move on. In the end, the judge set a trial date February 15. Yes, that’s 16 months after the couple split. Another Simpson Split: Ashlee Simpson & Vincent Piazza, Done-zo

According to Page Six , Ashlee Simpson has split from Vincent Piazza. The two were together for a year and a half. Reports are saying that the couple broke up over the Thanksgiving holiday due to increasing work obligations. Though the split is said to have been a mutual agreement,  Boardwalk Empire star Piazza’s career is the one that’s been on the rise. A source said “Vincent has been working a lot, so he hasn’t been able to spend as much time with Ashlee, which has caused some problems. It was a mutual agreement to split, but things have been bumpy for a little while, so perhaps they might reconcile.” Reps for both stars have yet to issue a confirmation. The pair began dating in June 2011 after Simpson split from former husband Pete Wentz. Wentz and Simpson have a 3-year-old son together, Bronx. This breakup comes on the heels of Ashlee’s parents’ divorce after 24 years of marriage.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Recap – Frilly Knickers & Groin Tattoos

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is back and “Uh Oh, Somebody’s Crying!”  Isn’t that just what you want to hear someone yell out when you’re sobbing in public?  We recap all the tears and fears in our THG +/- review. It started off with the summit meeting between Lisa and Adrienne.  Plus 12 to Adrienne for calling it although it was about damn time. As usual Lisa looked on the event with her own very British brand of humor.  “I don’t mean to make her nervous…that much.” Plus 15.   But the wait for Adrienne to get around to saying the actual I’m sorry felt like it took forever and her apology seemed a bit hollow until she uttered those words.  Plus 10 for finally getting there, but it still came across a little less than heartfelt.  And Lisa’s right. They may move forward but their relationship will never be the same. Kyle takes Alexia for her driver’s permit test.  She’s failed it twice. Plus 10 for the third time being the charm.  Of course only in Beverly Hills can a kid pass her test, walk outside and jump into a Maserati! Lisa gets Brandi a modeling gig at Beverly Hills Lifestyles magazine.  Apparently Brandi could use the self esteem boost.  No, seriously! For as knock out gorgeous as Ms. Granville is, her ex-husband’s philandering definitely took its toll. Minus 20. And if you’d like to find out how she dealt with his bed hopping and their subsequent divorce it looks like you’ll be able to read all about it in Brandi’s upcoming tell all. Plus 13 . I think I’d rather read Brandi’s book than Taylor’s. Kim invites all of the ladies to the lovely Casa Elar Spa and Resort in Ojai.  She’s in a good place right now. So good that she even invites Brandi. Plus 22 . Even Camille joins them which is nice but I could have done without hearing about Kelsey’s new groin tattoo. Minus 30 .  Now I need to burn that image from my brain. Yolanda thinks Ojai is all about nature and hiking…well not if you’re from Beverly Hills.  I don’t think these ladies own a pair of hiking boots between them. Minus 9 . Perhaps they’ll drop down from a six inch to a four inch heel instead. With a limited amount of bedrooms some of the ladies will have to double up and Adrienne has only one goal…to get a better bedroom than Lisa.   Lisa and Brandi end up sharing which offers some hilarious results when Ms. Vanderpump sees Brandi’s sleeping attire. Plus 15.    “You sleep in that frilly knicker thing?” Trust me. If anyone can pull it off, it’s Brandi. Things were even going well between Brandi and Kim.  They were talking, not screeching at one another. Plus 19. When the conversation got emotional Kim ended up in tears, which would have been OK if it weren’t for Adrienne.  Brandi was right. Adrienne squawking to the table that Kim was crying was just plain rude.  Of course telling Ms Maloof to “shut the f**k up” wasn’t exactly the height of propriety either.   Brandi admits she has no filter. It’s what makes her so damn entertaining and to be honest, although I never would have said that to Adrienne I probably would have wanted to. We’ll just have to wait until next week to see how this dinner party ends. Episode total = +57!                    Season total = +112!

Price is Right Model Wins Suit: "Wide Load" Brandi Cochran Awarded $777,000

Former Price is Right model Brandi Cochran sued the show for allegedly firing her for getting pregnant in 2010. This week, a jury sided with her to the tune over $777,000. The long-running game show maintained that many models have gotten pregnant while working on the show. Nonetheless, Cochran (left) won her lawsuit going away. That sum may still grow, in fact. The jury was swayed by Cochran’s claim that producers made comments about her pregnancy, including calling her derogatory terms such as “wide load.” If the jury determines that the comments of staff members were “malicious,” as opposed to merely negligent, she could be due an even bigger payday. It’s unclear what the timetable is for awarding additional damages in this case, but a representative of the production company says the case was flawed. The court didn’t even get to hear some favorable information that would lean toward the production company’s side, they say, and their side will still come out. How that could be the case after she’s already been awarded over three quarters of a million dollars, we have no idea. But don’t diss pregnant women, people. To use one of our favorite Happy Gilmore quotes , the price is WRONG, b!tches! Well, if you’re the show, anyway. Brandi’s probably pretty happy right now.

Lady Gaga: "Cake" Is About Doing What You Want

After the release of two scandalous teasers, Lady Gaga has tweeted her take on “Cake,” her upcoming music video shot by the legendary Terry Richardson. The Lady Gaga “Cake” videos show her in lingerie, writhing around in a pile of cake, lip-syncing a rap verse, getting spanked and taking a bath topless. Lady Gaga – Cake (Teaser) Lady Gaga – Cake (Teaser Video) The screen reads “TERRY RICHARDSON XX LADY GAGA.” XXX might be more accurate. One video closes with Lady Gaga topless in a sheer thong, her booty popping in a hot tub and conjuring up images of videos even Cinemax wouldn’t air. Gaga later tweeted her own take on “Cake.” She writes: “The real CAKE isn’t HAVING what you want, It’s DOING what you want.” Deep. Musically, the story of “Cake” began on September 19 when DJ White Shadow, a producer on Gaga’s “Born This Way” album, posted the beat on SoundCloud and encouraged his Twitter followers to help him write a song about Gaga on Garage Band. After announcing that he had found “the one” and telling Lady Gaga that she “must hear it,” DJ White Shadow posted the completed track on SoundCloud under the title “Trap AKA Cake,” with a description reading “Cake like Lady Gaga.” The rest, as they say, is history. Ariel Winter to Remain Under Sister’s Care

We have an update to the Ariel Winter saga . A judge ordered the 14-year old Modern Family star to remain under the care of her sister, Shantelle Grey, yesterday, as a Department of Children and Family Services determined charges of physical abuse were “unsubstantiated.” But it did cite evidence of emotional abuse by Ariel’s mother, Chrystal Workman . This same report recommended Ariel’s sibling be rewarded permanent guardianship, though a trial will eventually decide where the actress ends up long-term. Winter’s father, Glenn Workman , was represented at yesterday’s hearing and his lawyer suggested that his client could move into the family’s home if his ex-wife moved out. However, the judge ruled against such a notion, saying: “I have questions about the nature and strength of the relationship with her father.” With this ruling not in her favor, and with Ariel not set to return home in the near future, Chrystal told reporters afterward: “I love my daughter and I just want our family to be back together.”

Grass ain’t always greener… NeNe Leakes Talks About Marriage With Gregg If your man thinks the grass is greener on the other side, than let him wander — this according to reality star turned marriage counselor NeNe Leakes ! Via RadarOnline : The Real Housewives of Atlanta star and her ex-husband, Gregg, are opening up to the December issue of Ebony magazine about why they got divorced after 15 years of marriage and hint that they will be heading to the altar once again in the not too distant future, and RadarOnline.com has the details. Leakes maintains that she had nothing to do with the demise of their marriage and that it was all on the shoulders of her wayward husband. “It hurt me to file for divorce, but I had to see it through. I let him know you’re going to be my husband and you’re not going to be somebody else’s anything, but if you plan to be somebody else’s anything, then we can’t be together,” Leakes reveals. “Gregg needed to feel what it was like without me. I wanted to let him see if the grass was really greener on the other side. He brought his a** back, because the grass is very brown over there. “Not only have we divorced, but we are back together as a couple. This is our new normal. I’m telling you, TV is a beast. It will make you do s**t you never thought you’d do.” Gregg also chimes in on the reason behind their split. “To expose oneself is the beginning of healing and the beginning of forgiveness. I have never blamed her for anything except being outstanding,” he explains. “If I didn’t blame her [for the relationship’s demise], I must have had shortcomings. Whatever it was, I refused to have my family become another statistic. I fought to get my family back, and that’s what I did with the help of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” And while having all of their dirty laundry aired on national television may seem like a bad thing, he believes that it actually helped other people going through similar situations. “What we went through in exposing our situation had the ultimate benefit. It’s about helping someone else learn from what we went through,” he says. When asked if he was planning on putting a big ring back on his ex-wife’s finger, Gregg played coy and encouraged people to find out by watching this season’s Real Housewives of Atlanta. “Stay tuned,” he says. “How do you know I haven’t already?” The only thing greener on her side is the money. Gregg might be old as hell but he’s no dummy.

Public Nudity Ban Under Consideration in San Francisco

San Francisco residents may soon be forced to wear clothes outside of their homes, and some activists are displeased by this proposed public nudity ban. City lawmakers are set to vote Tuesday on an ordinance that, if passed, would make it illegal for anyone over age 5 to expose their genitals in public. Hilariously, this is not currently against the law in San Francisco. Exemptions may be made for parades or festivals with a city permit, according to the ordinance. Just the same, a group of activists has already filed a lawsuit. One of the plaintiffs, Mitch Hightower , has organized an annual “nude-in” demonstration over the past several years in protest of the public nudity ban. “The ‘Nude In’ is intended to promote a spirit of tolerance, peace and fellowship among the attendees,” the lawsuit said, citing a constitutional right of free speech. “It attempts to criminalize nudity even when engaged in for the purpose of political advocacy.” George Davis, who ran for mayor in 2007 and District 6 supervisor in 2010 as the “nude candidate,” joined the suit, claiming he uses nudity “as part of his political expression.” If the ordinance is enacted, first time offenders would be fined $100. The fine increases to $200 for a second offense within 12 months. The third time a nudist is caught, they could be hit with a $500 fine and charged with a misdemeanor. So basically, Rihanna nude would be jailed in about two weeks. Just not right. Hopefully a judge strikes down this egregious affront to American freedom.

Kendra Wilkinson Slams Kelsey Grammer as "Disgusting"

Kendra Wilkinson does not approve of Kelsey Grammer’s parenting choices. The former centerfold was asked about the sitcom star last night outside Lure nightclub in Hollywood, following Grammer’s appearance at a Halloween party this fall during which he brought his infant daughter to The Playboy Mansion . Wilkinson told TMZ she actually confronted Kesley at the shindig, adding that she was “disgusted” by the incident and: “He KNOWS how I feel, trust me… I gave him that eye and I left because of that.” Wilkinson, of course, has a young son of her own. Grammer, meanwhile, said he brought his kid to the affair because he didn’t have a babysitter . Totally normal, right? It’s not like he simply couldn’t have attended.
