In snippets released from her interview on Oprah: Where Are They Now – which airs Friday at 8 p.m. on OWN – Tamera Mowry breaks down while recalling the awful insults she’s heard since marrying Fox News Channel correspondent Adam Housley in 2011. “People choose to look past love and spew hate,” the former sitcom star says of reaction to her interracial union. “That’s what hurts me, because I’ve never experienced so much hate ever in my life, ever.” Mowry says she’s been referred to as a “white man’s whore” and that someone actually said to her once: “Back in the day, you cost $300, but now, you’re giving it away for free.” The actress, who was a 29-year old virgin until sleeping with Housely, adds that she simply can’t relate to this mindset because she comes from a biracial household. Kandi Wants Chuck Smith To Stop Lying About Their Past Relationship Chuck was hella disrespectful during that ride back home with Nene and Phaedra from “The Boys And Girls Club” in Athens. How can you tell young boys to respect their mothers and sisters and then turn around and throw Phaedra and Kandi underneath the bus? According to Sister 2 Sister: Kandi Burruss said she’s unfazed by Chuck Smith and the way he cheapened the relationship that the two of them once had. On a recent episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Kandi told Chuck’s wife that the two dated and Chuck was one suitor Kandi’s mom actually liked. According to Kandi it was more than a fling and Chuck was a frequent visitor at her home. However, Chuck disputed that story, relegating Kandi and co-star Phaedra Parks to “friends with benefits” status. “You weren’t my girlfriend he clarified to Phaedra,” leaving no doubt about his take on it. The attorney had previously described their relationship as “dating,” but Chuck didn’t give it that much credit. He also described Kandi as one of his “team,” but did admit that he made her feel special by spending time with her mom and aunts. “He said he was taking advantage of a young girl…he really went out of his way to take advantage,” said Kandi on Big Tigger’s V-103 radio show. “That was deep.” Though Kandi said she’s not giving Chuck’s comments much attention, she took issue with him suggesting that she was “popular” with lots of men during that era. “I’ve moved on, but I would appreciate it if he’d stop…,” she said. “On one hand, he tried to make it sound like I was dating all these people, but on the other hand, he felt the need to make me feel special. Can you get your story together? Stop lying.” While Chuck may have been trying to humiliate the “RHOA” stars, fans of the show took to Twitter to blast him for his comments about Kandi and Phaedra, especially considering he’d just spoken to kids at the Boys & Girls Club and asked them to respect their moms and sisters. As such, she was stood up by Brian Dawe on the premiere episode, allegedly blindsided and “forced” to go on the relationship counseling show solo. Jenelle isn’t buying it for one second, taking her to task on Twitter. Evans proclaimed that, “I’m not even going to watch #CouplesTherapy now that I found out Farrah staged it entirely once again. #TiskTisk #FakeRelationship.” Abraham didn’t respond to the taunt from Jenelle Evans , but tore Dawe a new one in her own f-bomb filled Tweet, writing on the social media site: “F**k loser boyfriends who use me! & can’t face the truth!! So much for the duo being on the rocks . Caroline Wozniacki and Rory McIlroy, collectively one of sports’ higher-profile couples, have endured a lot of scrutiny since they first got together. Unquestionably one of the best golfers in the world and with the expectations that go with that, Northern Ireland native Rory, 24, had a down year in 2013. Many associated this with his relationship with Caroline, 23, the pride of Denmark who once ranked number one in the world in tennis for 67 straight weeks. Some analysts not only blamed the romance for Rory’s slump after an astounding 2012, but implied that he can’t play his best and be with a high-profile athlete. The next big-time victory will silence all of that talk from the bored media, of course, but said victory has yet to materialize for either half of Wozzilroy. Neither enjoyed the level of athletic success last season that was on par with their previous performances, but they sure were cute and happy.
