Jennifer Lawrence fans, rejoice! Your next year or two is gonna be chock-full of J. Lawr, especially now that Relativity has picked up the House at the End of the Street . The Oscar-nominated Lawrence already has The Beaver , the Sundance hit Like Crazy , and X-Men: First Class set with studio releases and will soon begin filming The Hunger Games for a 2012 debut. Will House turn out to be, as producer Aaron Ryder once said, a sort of Psycho for younger viewers?

Juan Carlos Fresnadillo Directing The Crow Reboot

Spanish director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo ( 28 Weeks Later ) has been announced as the helmer of Relativity Media’s planned reboot of The Crow , the 1994 cult film starring Brandon Lee that spawned three subsequent sequels. Fresnadillo, who directed the Oscar-nominated short film Esposados and the 2001 thriller Intacto , will co-script once a writer is signed to the project and aims to begin filming this fall. You know what that means, Crow fans — time to get your casting caps on!

Fighter Co-Producer Ryan Kavanaugh on His Best Picture Nominee and Tough Academy Breaks

Ryan Kavanaugh awoke early today with the rest of the industry, anticipating if and/or how the Academy would recognize his film The Fighter . But even as the Best Picture nominees were listed, and the Relativity Media CEO’ s production was among them, there was something a tad… off about it all.

New Production Deal Means Valderrama-rama

Just as you suspected, Yo Mamma was only the beginning: Wilmer Valderrama just signed with 20th Century Fox TV to “develop, executive produce and star in a series project for the studio.” He’s also landed a multi-year deal with RelativityREAL to work on unscripted fare. Bottom line: We’ll be seeing much more of him soon. On the bright side, this could mean another ear-popping interview with Howard Stern . [ Deadline ]
