It looks like Lost ‘s non-stop season will actually be making one previously unscheduled pause. ABC is planning to re-run the Richard Alpert-centric episode, “Ab Aeterno,” on April 27 as a calm before the coming storm. Or maybe just so all the remaining episodes — airing on May 4, 11, 18 with the series finale set for May 23 — can land in May Sweeps. Hey, even the Dharma Initiative has to worry about ad sales. With the talent level low and the contestants so similar, this season of American Idol has been considered a bore by most viewers. Ratings certainly reflect a drop in interest. For that reason, producers are praying Adam Lambert will deliver a much-needed dose of excitement tonight, as he plays mentor to the remaining finalists. But Ken Warwick tells Entertainment Weekly that he’s also counting on the reverse coming true: he hopes the Lambert’s appearance on the show will resurrect this singer’s sidetracked career. “The guy is an incredible talent, and he had an incredible following. And it kind of upsets me that at the moment he’s not doing quite as well,” the executive producer said . “I don’t know what possessed him to do what he did at the AMAs , but he’s still struggling to live it down. “Hopefully… we can start putting him back firmly where he belongs, as a major star. Because the guy is an incredible talent. He genuinely is. And it kind of breaks my heart to see someone with that much talent struggle a bit. So hopefully we can do back for him as he can do for us.” Adam Lambert returns to the stage that made him famous this week. Aside from mentoring tonight, Lambert will return to the American Ido l stage tomorrow. From there, it’s off to the GLAAD awards Saturday evening for another performance. Wrote Adam, regarding the event: “GLAAD has advocated for out music artists, including myself, and I am proud to be part of the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards this year. GLAAD’s work to share stories that grow acceptance and understanding about the gay and transgender community is so important in our culture today.” Will tune in to watch Lambert on Idol this week?

Woods infidelity has left wife very furious. He is very determined in earning back Nordegen’s trust and is now keen in putting his blissful marriage back. Despite his efforts, Nordegren isn’t making things easy for him. “Tiger thinks renewing their vows is the perfect way of proving to the world they’re a couple again,” a source revealed to American magazine the National Enquirer. “But Elin wants to see real evidence he’s a changed man before she commits to this relationship again — that’s why she hasn’t been wearing her wedding ring.” Earlier reports have claimed that Elin is only staying with Tiger for the sake of their two young children. “Elin is going through the motions of family life only to keep the children well grounded,” a source said last month. “She suffered through the pain of her parents divorcing and doesn’t want to do that to her kids. But she is not happy in the marriage. The trust is gone. “She wears a chastity belt made of spikes. They are not living together as a couple. By Jayson Rodriguez with reporting by Shaheem Reid The-Dream Photo: MTV News The recently freed T.I. said his next album (due August 24) will be more about “feelings” than his last project, Paper Trail, which he described as driven by “thoughts.” The Atlanta rapper has said fans can expect “classic T.I.” The-Dream , who sought out Tip for a collaboration on his forthcoming album, agreed with that early assessment, telling MTV News that T.I.’s skills are otherworldly right now. “Tip is in a zone, man,” said The-Dream, whose second single, “Sex Intelligent,” will feature T.I. “He’s in one of those things. But me just being a lyric guy, what makes songs, I think, hits is when it comes from the heart and you really are saying something you mean. And you can feel it through the passion. “Every record he played me, I was like, ‘Wow.’ I could just feel it. It wasn’t about judging it. It wasn’t about, ‘Is this a single or is this that?’ It was just, ‘Wow, where have you been? Where’d you go?’ It was just elevated, and he’s elevated. Right now, he’s rapping like he’s in space. Not a place we don’t know — it’s in the same area — but his vibe is just wider now.” While Tip is hard at work on his yet-untitled comeback album, last month he released “I’m Back,” the first track he’s delivered to the public since beginning a federal prison stint last May on charges stemming from a 2007 arrest. Recently sprung a couple months shy of his yearlong sentence, the rapper is serving out the remaining months under home confinement. T.I. has been mostly quiet since his release in December, with the exception of a brief conference call with a group of DJs (though he declined to take questions) and a video interview he posted on his Web site, TrapMuzik.com .
