Top 10 50 Cent Songs

Continued here:

50 Cent has been known to be a trouble maker in the music industry and it may be easier to pick his top ten beefs, but it is just as easy to pick 50 Cent’s top 10 songs. After dealing with industry politics and the politics of the streets, 50 Cent found himself along side Eminem dominating the rap game. Check out my top 10 50 Cent songs below. WBW: Top 9 Music Videos Of The 2000s “In Da Club” –  They say any song that’s simple and catchy and it doesn’t get any simpler than:  “Go Shorty, it’s your birthday we gone party like its your birthday.” After releasing several hot mixtapes on the streets, I think this track may have certified 50 Cent as a legit maker. Dr. Dre’s beat had such a perfect bounce that folks that it was meant for Detox. “What Up Gangsta” – The follow up track after the intro on Get Rich Or Die Trying was the perfect aggressive track to start the album off.  The beat dropped with such force that you knew he meant business from the jump. What makes this one of 50′s  best is that he basically laid it down that he wanted problems. Hate him or love him you would not ignore him! “Many Men” (Wish Death) – The song told the story of how and why people hate on another individual working hard to get to the top. This worked so well because 50 Cent was an underdog, but ironically he is the one now looking to end careers. “I Get Money” –  During the battle with Kanye West on who would sell the most records, this was the track that put life into the Curtis album. The shocker was getting Diddy and Jay-z on the remix, one of 50 Cents many great ideas,  along with sampling the classic Audio Two’s “Top Billing.” There was also some controversy about the beat being extremely similar to Cassidy’s  2005 hit “I’m A Hustler.” “Candy Shop “- Featuring Olivia (who was once the first lady of G-Unit) has to be 50 Cent’s most commercial song to date.  When I say commercial, I mean the sound had to be the most pop 50 Cent has ever gone. The chart topper helped 50 Cent sell over 1 million albums during its first week release of  ”The Massacre.” “Window Shopper” – off the “Get Rich or Die Tryin” soundtrack is where 50 Cent got to do what he does best;  stuntin on em and taunting people. “How 2 Rob” – featuring D-Dot aka The Mad Rapper was what got 50 Cent noticed in the public and industry. I think any song about how to rob actual rappers and r&b singers would get attention, but 50 Cent caused a frenzy with this one by naming names of real people. A few people even made response records. “21 Questions” is one of 50 Cent’s best ballads. As soon as that Barry White guitar lick kicks in you know where things are headed. Yes, his first album was probably his best but this was a big reason why. “Ayo Technology ” featuring Justin Timberlake also helped keep the album “Curtis” alive after releasing several singles that did not grab the attention of the people. “Wangsta”- The second single off the 8 Mile soundtrack coining the term “Wangsta” as someone who does a lot of fronting, who isn’t what they claim to be. The hood began using this term for a while and some people possibly still do. Word was this term was created to describe his rival Ja Rule. Lady Gaga’s Scrapped Deal Leaves Target ‘Surprised And Disappointed’

Gaga dissolved relationship with retail giant over reported political contributions made to antigay gubernatorial candidate. By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga Photo: Tom Briglia/ WireImage Retail giant Target has issued a statement in reaction to the news that Lady Gaga has decided not to release an exclusive deluxe edition of Born This Way, due May 23, through the store as originally planned. In a statement released to MTV News, Target explained that Gaga’s reservations about working with the company came as a shock. Gaga had reportedly dissolved her relationship with the chain megastore after LGBT groups began investigating certain donations the store made, including a 2010 donation of corporate funds to MN Forward, a political action committee that supported antigay candidate Tom Emmer in his 2010 run for governor of Minnesota. “We were very surprised and disappointed by the statements made by Lady Gaga’s organization related to her partnership with Target,” the company wrote. “Target remains committed to the LGBT community as demonstrated by our contributions to various LGBT organizations, our recently established Policy Committee to review our political giving and our respectful, inclusive workplace environment.” Gaga, an outspoken gay activist, had previously addressed concerns about Target’s political leanings but hoped that they would be able to work to expand their LGBT horizons with her onboard. “That discussion was one of the most intense conversations I’ve ever had in a business meeting,” Gaga said. “Part of my deal with Target is that they have to start affiliating themselves with LGBT charity groups and begin to reform and make amends for the mistakes they’ve made in the past. … Our relationship is hinged upon their reform in the company to support the gay community and to redeem the mistakes they’ve made supporting those [antigay] groups.” Related Videos Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ Video Premieres Related Photos Lady Gaga’s Runway Debut At Mugler Fashion Show Related Artists Lady Gaga

Kanye West Recruits Drake, Big Sean For ‘All Of The Lights’ Remix

Drizzy verse is reportedly different from the one he recorded for earlier version. By Jayson Rodriguez Kanye West Photo: Getty Images Kanye West has been quiet, by his standards, ever since releasing his last album, and most assume the MC/producer went off the radar to finish working on his collaboration album with Jay-Z, Watch the Throne. But now, it seems, ‘Ye has more in store than just his project with Hov. According to a tweet by Los Angeles spin doctor DJ Franzen, West has recruited Big Sean and Drake for the remix to his current single, “All of the Lights.” “Drizzy murdered the ‘All of the Lights’ remix with @kanyewest,” the DJ wrote . “He played it at the Suite Party last night! I heard it 1st last Sat.” A verse from the Thank Me Later star originally appeared on an early version of “All of the Lights” that landed online before the release of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. But on the album version, Drake is one of a many vocalists, including Rihanna , Elton John, Fergie, La Roux , John Legend and more, and his voice is indistinguishable from the others on the track. Drake’s earlier verse will reportedly be replaced with a new set of rhymes for the remix, according to Complex magazine. Last last year, in an interview with Eminem’s Shade 45 satellite radio show, Drake talked about his “All of the Lights” contribution not making Yeezy’s album. “Kanye’s creative process is ever-changing,” Drake explained. “We make music differently. I make what comes to me and I hate changing it, whereas ‘Ye will change something 30 or 40 times to get it perfect. To each their own, and the change was to put all those people on it, and I wasn’t one of them. That’s completely OK.” Check out what fans are already saying about anticipating the “All of the Lights” remix on Rapfix . Related Artists Drake Kanye West
