NBA Players Donate $1 Million To Oklahoma City Tornado Relief The NBA is lending a helping hand to those affected by the recent tornado that ripped through Oklahoma City with a hefty monetary donation to the tune of $1 million. via NBA Website The National Basketball Association and National Basketball Players Association announced today that they will contribute $1 million to support relief efforts in response to the destruction caused by the tornado in the Oklahoma City area. The NBA and the Players Association will join forces with the American Red Cross, Salvation Army, and other disaster relief agencies that are mobilizing their resources to support the recovery and rebuilding efforts. The Oklahoma City Thunder and Thunder star Kevin Durant have each donated $1 million to the relief efforts, and several NBA teams, and current and former players are also contributing to aid in the recovery. Players and team personnel of the Thunder, the WNBA’s Tulsa Shock, and the NBA D-League’s Tulsa 66ers will continue to provide local support, assisting in on-the-ground relief efforts in addition to the ongoing support by the NBA family. Indofood Agri IPO result 2011

“The IPO could pose downside risks to our IFAR earnings estimates through potential EPS dilution, as well as possible holding company discount once its main operating asset is listed separately,” said Goldman Sachs in a report. The brokerage estimates that Indfood Agri’s 2011 earnings per share could be diluted by 12%. Singapore palm oil firm Indofood Agri Resources (IFAR.SI) fell as much as 8.3% on Monday on concerns that its unit PT SIMP’s initial public offering could dilute its earnings

Queensland budget 2010/11

The state#39;s economy is expected to grow by 3.75 per cent in 2010/11 on the back of further investment in the resources sector, accelerating to 4.5 per cent in 2011/12. The Queensland budget has forecast a $1.745 billion net operating deficit for 2010/11, almost halving the expected hit the state will take from the global financial crisis. The figure is a vast improvement on the $3.142 billion forecast when the government last looked at its books in December for the mid-year economic review.
