Is there another season of Teen Mom 2 to come after the current fifth season, which just got underway with a bang on MTV last Tuesday? It looks like it. Jenelle Evans , Leah Messer, Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea Houska had already wrapped filming for Teen Mom 2 Season 5, including the reunion show. Production recently resumed, however, for all four of the stars. “Everyone is filming more scenes,” a production insider said. A suspicious Facebook post claimed this week that the pregnant Jenelle Evans was getting a spin-off with baby daddy to be Nathan Griffin, but that has been debunked. “Jenelle isn’t getting a spin off,” the source told Radar . However, “She is filming more scenes but so are all of the rest of the girls. They just don’t really know what it will become, another season or just extra scenes.” On Teen Mom 2 Season 5 Episode 1 , Jenelle – now pregnant by boyfriend Griffith – revealed she aborted husband Courtland Rogers’ baby last winter. Meanwhile, Leah Messer Calvert revealed the heartbreaking news that one of her twins, 4-year-old daughter Aliannah, has a rare form of muscular dystrophy. Kailyn Lowry struggled with her decision to uproot Isaac to be near her husband, while simultaneously grappling with her baby daddy’s views of that particular idea. Nene got Kenya together and now Cynthia is putting the struggle bird in her place. Cynthia Bailey Doubts Kenya Moore Homeless Rumors These two have a history of snatching each others wigs back . The only difference is, Kenya isn’t “gone with the wind fabulous” anymore and can’t afford to buy her a new one. According to Cynthia’s Bravo TV blog: I was completely surprised and caught off guard when Kenya showed up at The Bailey Agency when we were moving. Kenya and I are still in the early stages of building a friendship, and we don’t really talk on a regular basis. At the time, outside of a few random texts here and there, I had not seen or spoken to her since the reunion. Kenya had no real reason to be upset with me about not reaching out to her regarding her alleged eviction. Kenya is a smart, successful businesswoman, so I did not believe for a second that she would ever do anything to put herself in that kind of situation. Therefore, I chose not to reach out to her when I heard this rumor, because outside of working with Kenya, her personal business/issues are none of my business unless she calls me to discuss them. FYI: I do not believe everything I read in the blogs (as I have been a victim to articles that were not completely factual myself, such as pregnancy rumors, Peter cheating on me, TBA school closing, foreclosures, etc,). Side Note: Kenya has never called to check on me about any of the above. Anyway, we all have a lot going on all the time, and if I want to talk to these ladies about anything that may be going on in my life, I have all of their phone numbers to call them. Otherwise, I was very happy to learn that all was well with Kenya in the end, and that she had the situation under control just as I would have expected. With friends like these…who needs enemies?
Chris Kirkpatrick is a married man. The NSYNC alum, 42, tied the knot with Karly Skladany Saturday, and all of his fellow former band mates were groomsmen! Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass were on hand to celebrate Kirkpatrick and Skladany, who have been together three years. Kirkpatrick, who reunited with NSYNC at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 25 in JT’s honor, looked forward to another reunion on his big day. “They’re all coming to my wedding, so we’ll get to see each other again,” he told Rolling Stone in August. “Everything goes back. It’s like old times.” Chris is more than content being least famous of the fab five, and has always shunned extravagant displays of wealth, a fact that remains true to this day. Lance told a great story leading up to the wedding this week. “Can you believe Chris Kirkpatrick is getting married?” Bass said on his Sirius XM radio show Tuesday. “He just never seemed like the marrying type.” Kirkpatrick never liking the “finer things” in life, Bass said, and “What’s really hilarious to me is that we went to get fitted for our tuxes at Men’s Warehouse.” “He got us the cheapest tuxes there he could possibly get, which I think is so Chris and very lovely,” Bass joked of his good friend. “I mean that’s just who he is.” Bass added of another former NSYNCer, “I just think its hilarious to know that Justin Timberlake is going to be in a Men’s Warehouse tux ushering the wedding.” Indeed. Twogging is the new thing. At least according to a new viral video, in which people attempt to Twerk along with their dogs … who look straight up confused. Twogging Yes. Not everyone is content emulating Miley Cyrus Twerking at the VMAs or reenacting Rihanna “Pour It Up” video . Some have to get their pets involved. Apparently #twogging is the act of twerking on or around your four-legged friend (or anyone’s dog, for that matter), as seen in the video compilation above. We can’t decide if this is hilarious, weird or just wrong. In any case, please don’t go twogging on a stranger’s pet at the dog park, though that could become a viral video in itself once you get your a$$ whomped. The more you know.
Fiona Apple is always one to keep things interesting. The singer never mails in a live performance, but you also never know just what you’re going to see. Case in point? She impressed Monday night at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in L.A., yet still managed to shock audience members with her outspoken nature. Fiona Apple Heckled Near the end of the show, she ignored a heckler shouting out song requests, acknowledging that we all have things we want to get off our chests at times. She proceeded to explain that years ago, her father, actor Brandon Maggart, got a bad review from film critic Rex Reed, who misspelled Maggart’s name. That was only the start of it. Apparently he also “f–ked with people and how they looked.” She continued, “I’ve wanted to do this for a long time.” “Daddy, this is for you. Rex Reed: you’re a c–t.” Well, there you have that, ladies and gentlemen. Apple is famous for her erratic performances. Just last week, in Portland, Ore., a fan shouted, “Fiona! Get healthy! We want to see you in 10 years!” She reportedly screamed at the fan and “sobbed” through her next song. Apple also walked off stage at a Louis Vuitton event in August, yelling “predictable fashion!” In 2012, Fiona Apple was arrested in Texas for marijuana possession, which she then discussed on stage in one of the weirdest rants of all time. She’s a character!
Guitar player Phil Chevron of the Pogues has passed away at the age of 56 after a long battle with cancer, the band said in a statement Tuesday. Chevron (real name was Philip Ryan) was a core member of the Anglo-Irish folk-punk group that made its international name in the 1980s and early 1990s. “He was unique. We’ll miss him terribly. Dublin town, and the world, just got smaller,” the Pogues said in a statement on their website earlier today. “His loved ones are in our thoughts.” Chevron, who was born in Dublin, started out with the Irish act The Radiators From Space, which has been described as Ireland’s first punk band. He moved to London where he joined the Pogues, fronted by fellow Irishman Shane MacGowan. He played banjo and mandolin and sang as well. Chevron stayed with the Pogues after MacGowan left in 1991 and was replaced by Joe Strummer, ex-frontman of The Clash. The band split up in 1996. He later reformed the Radiators with ex-Pogues bassist Cait O’Riordan. When the Pogues reformed in 2001 and interest in them revived, Chevron remastered the band’s back catalogue on CD and took a big role in their reunion tours. He was diagnosed with head and neck cancer in 2007 and was given a clean bill of health in April 2012 but the cancer returned. May he rest in peace.
