Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, and Aundrea Fimbres of the platinum-selling pop group Danity Kane will be hitting the stage for their first performance…
Simon Cowell has often egged on contestants to do better… but this is ridiculous! On last night’s Britain’s Got Talent finale, Richard and Adam Johnson took to the stage for a version of “The Impossible Dream” when a viola player named Natalie Holt sprung from her spot, ran in front of the brothers and fired eggs at the famous judge. And the crazy incident was caught on camera! Watch it take place around the two-minute mark now: Simon Cowell Gets Egged Holt was a contestant last season on the show and said afterward: “I want to apologize to Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance. I’ve never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realized it was a silly thing to do.” She should really apologize to a Hungarian group called Attraction. They took home the Britain’s Got Talent title, but not the headlines after the show.
Dawn Richard Responds To D.Woods Uncertainty About Danity Kane Reunion After a recent photo-op surfaced with 4 out of the 5 members of disbanded Bad Boy girl group Danity Kane having a lunch meeting, speculation of a reunion was soon to follow. Missing from the photo was former DK member D.Woods, which sparked talk that she wouldn’t be returning if the group were to unite, but former fellow member Dawn Richard says she’s just fine with that. via S2S Dawn Richard is open to the idea of a Danity Kane reunion, but she’s not pressuring D.Woods to join her. “If she doesn’t [want to reunite], then let the girl be. Let her be,” Dawn said, defending D.’s right to continue on her solo career and not look back. “It’s okay to say, ‘no,’” said Dawn. “If that’s her choice, that’s her choice.” Rumors of a Danity Kane musical resurrection began with the ladies reunited for lunch recently. DK fans were thrilled to see four of the group’s original members together, and Dawn said that might lead to new music from the women. “What the focus needs to be on is not who didn’t show up, but the fact that after six years, the monumental response that came from it,” Dawn told Pacific Rim. “We haven’t spoken the name DK for years and for five seconds of us to go to lunch, it be that huge, speaks volumes on our fan base.” D.Woods told Sister 2 Sister that she’s busy with her solo career and theatrical performances. Though she missed the DK lunch, she might just join the ladies for a reunion if it doesn’t interfere with her current projects. “I’m definitely committed to these projects that I’m doing… I don’t want to slight any one project because that’s not fair to myself, and that’s not fair to them as a group,” she said of her possible return to Danity Kane. Dawn is hopeful that the girls’ lunch reunion might lead to a studio reunion. “We’ll see,” said Dawn who clarified that there are no unresolved issues between the women. “There’s love all around. We’re too grown for it not to be,” she said. This is all good and great….but we’re still stuck on the part where D.Woods has multiple projects in the works. Anyone care to enlighten us?
It’s been an interesting week for the guys from Pawn Stars. Not only where they fined for trashing a campground but now Richard B. Harrison, Richard K. Harrison, Richard C. Harrison and Austen Russell have a much bigger problem. They are subject to a whopping $5 million lawsuit. Venture IAB Inc. talent agency claims they lost that massive amount in commissions based on its 10 percent interest in their income, according to The Hollywood Reporter . The agency, who signed a contract and helped them score the History Channel series in 2007, say that network execs steered the Pawn Star cast toward another agent. Rival Michael Camacho ultimately repped the cast. In early 2010, the History Channel’s top executive Nancy Dubuc and development and programming VP Mary Donahue allegedly “interfered” with the written contract. “As a result of the intentional interference with Agency Agreements, Plaintiff has lost millions of dollars of income,” the suit alleges, seeking $5 million in commissions. Venture IAB says the Harrisons were urged to terminate their agreement “so that Dubuc’s and Donahue’s friend and agent, Michael Camacho of UTA, could take over.” In unrelated but similar news, a Storage Wars lawsuit was also filed this week by one of its best known personalities, alleging that the entire show is basically fake. Yuuuuuup .
