The Danity Kane singer discussed who she wanted to father her seed: “I would like to do a show about inseminating me with some brilliant man’s sperm so I can have a child. Dream donor, Barack Obama. Source: Will Crocker / Getty Wrongfully Convicted Corey Atchison Freed From Prison Corey Atchison, 48, was released Tuesday by Tulsa County District Judge Sharon Holmes, after serving 28 years for a crime he didn’t commit, according to ABC News . Atchison was convicted and sentenced to life in prison in 1991 for the fatal shooting of James Lane in Tulsa in 1990 during what police said was a gang-related attempted robbery. It’s believed that Atchison was coerced into “confessing” he did the crime. The finding of “actual innocence” by Holmes makes Atchison eligible for up to $175,000 in compensation for a wrongful conviction under Oklahoma state law. After walking free from the courthouse this week, Atchison says he’s not holding any grudges towards the people who landed him in prison for almost three decades. Hit play.

Black folks still can’t just walk around a clothing store without being followed or accused of stealing. Santa Monica couple Joel Stallworth and TaMiya Dickerson experienced just that on Friday after a Nike store manager told police that they stole a $12 Nike swoosh mini basketball, which they in fact purchased. According to reports , Stallworth and Dickerson were leaving the Los Angeles store when the manager, a White woman, followed them outside and accused them of stealing. They reassured her that the ball was purchased, but in true White lady fashion, the manager flagged down the police. Once the police made their way over, the couple pulled out their recent to prove that they bought the basketball. The manager, and officers, were shook when they realized the Dickerson and Stallworth were telling the truth. NIKE issued a statement to the family after the incident, saying: “We are taking the recent situation at our Santa Monica store very seriously, and we are currently investigating the facts. We will continue to work with our teams to ensure we deliver on our expectations for consumer experiences.” However, the couple is still quite pissed about the incident. Stallworth told KTLA : “She had zero evidence that I stole anything. She couldn’t have evidence because I bought it. She discriminated against me. She planted an evil seed in the officer, so as soon as the officer came up to me, he said, ‘Sir, give me the stolen ball.’” Once the incident was resolved, the couple returned the basketball to the store and got a full refund. Sucks it had to come to that in 2019 smh.

The Australian rapper recently dropped the visuals for her song “Fu** It Up” and it’s filled with more accents than a World Cup tournament. Granted, Iggy is paying homage to a 1990s high school classic Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion . S o her accent in the video’s intro utilizes some sort of Valley girl-Australian mix…clearly a long way from the Southern rap twang of her early days . Then, once Iggy starts chanting “fu** it up, sis” with Kash Doll (“sis?”…okay Iggy), her accent switches to some sort of East Coast, New York-Philly mix? Idk. This woman will have you confused. Even her hair styles throughout the video are questionable. The colorful wet and wavy look has already been done to great effect by Nicki Minaj. The barbz would gag…and not in a dope “oh she’s fierce” kind of way. You gotta give it to Iggy though…her production value is top notch. Aside from the questionable accents, appropriated lingo, and last season hair looks, the colorful video is quite entertaining. Plus, the beat is knocking. And I appreciate anyone who acknowledges the greatness of certain white girl comedy classics. Let’s not forget Iggy’s commendable visuals for “Fancy,” which paid homage to 1995’s Clueless. *Sigh* I guess, Iggy gon’ do what Iggy gon’ do as long as people support her. Fu** it up *ahem*……….sis.
The Real Housewive of Atlanta fans will recall that season 11 did not exactly end peacefully . There’s been a schism between the girls ever since the Bye Wig party erupted into a huge fight. And after a tense reunion on Wednesday, drama addicts can rejoice in the knowledge that the bad blood will carry over to season 12 as well. The occasion was housewife Marlo Hampton’s “I am Her” hair event. As is often the case on the Housewives shows, one of the girls holds a promotional event of some kind, and the other cast members show up to give their support. Or at least that’s how it looks on paper. Usually, the event only exists in service of the drama — an upscale backdrop for the girls to trash talk each other while wearing cocktail dresses. That certainly seems to be the case here, as star NeNe Leakes finally reunited with on-screen nemeses Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams. NeNe has been avoiding some of her castmates ever since her epic freakout at the Bye Wig party. As fans will remember, that altercation became fightentingly heated and culminated with NeNe attacking a camera man, who lost part of a tooth. NeNe still has a grudge against Porsha, who instigated that whole fracas by trying to sneak into NeNe’s very off-limits walk-in closet with Kandi Burruss. Nene was also reportedly enraged to learn that Kenya was brought back for another season, after producers fired her for keeping her marriage a secret. Ironically, Kenya might have been kept off the show if NeNe didn’t hate her so much. Apparently, the beef the two women was too much for Bravo to pass up. Since rejoining the group, Kenya has been going out of her way to find a story line for herself. To that end, she made sure to stir up some trouble at the “I am Her” event on Wednesday too. An inside source tells RadarOnline that Kenya attempted to crash the party, bringing her own rival line of hair care products. “Kenya was trying to wage a war with Marlo to cause drama,” the source claims. A tacky move to be sure, but it’s sure to make great TV if the cameras were rolling for this event, and we expect that they were. But despite this perfect receipe for another NeNe vs everyone blowout, sources say NeNe was on her best behavior. “There were no confrontations,” the source told Radar. “And [NeNe] even said hello to Kenya.” That’s some true progress for NeNe, who recently refused to be filmed in any scenes featuring Kenya or Porsha. With that said, it’s best to keep in mind that we all say hello to people we dislike on a regular basis. Sometimes you have to play nice or not play at all. At some point NeNe will have to swallow her pride and interract with her enemies, or she’ll miss out on a ton of screen time. But sources say she’s not quite there yet with Porsha. “Porsha is the only RHOA who said she is not interested in rekindling a friendship with NeNe at all,” the insider claims. This was plainly evident at the “I am Her” event, where NeNe froze Porsha out and the two girls didn’t acknowledge each other at all. So at the end of the night, an olive branch was offered, but plenty of bad blood lives on. We can’t wait to see how it all goes down on the next season of Real Housewives of Atlanta . Unlike most people who marry into the British Royal Family, Meghan Markle was famous long before she said “I do.” But basic cable legal drama fame isn’t quite the same as marrying one of the most sought-after the men on the planet and becoming a freakin’ duchess overnight. So we suppose it should come as no surprise that Meg experienced some growing pains while transitioning from Rachel Zane to the Duchess of Sussex. As you may have heard, Meghan’s rekindled friendship with Kate Middleton is the subject of a People magazine cover story this week. The issue actually features several stories about the formerly dueling duchesses, including one about how Meghan has struggled in adjusting to this new, much brighter spotlight. “Meghan has struggled with the intensity of the spotlight,” a source close to the royal family tells People . “Although she is a former actress, this is on a different level.” Apparently, Meghan has mostly grown accustomed to her role at this point, but she still finds it challenging to live her life under such intense scrutiny. “It is an isolated existence,” the insider claims. No word on whether or not the rumors that Harry is encouraging Meghan to enter therapy are related to all this pressure. But frankly, we would hope anyone who has this much on her plate is receiving some sort of professional counseling! Interestingly, it seems Meghan’s feelings of isolation may have helped her bond with Kate. The Duchess of Cambridge has admitted to feeling “lonely at times” as a mother living life in the public eye. “Tou do feel quite isolated. But so many other mothers are going through exactly what you are going through.” “Babies are a great leveler,” says royal commentator Victoria Arbiter. “The minute you’re bonding over your stories and sleepless nights, suddenly all the stuff that mattered before doesn’t matter anymore.” We’re sure in the very near future, we’ll see another round of rumors claiming that Meghan and Kate are feuding or that Meg is cracking under the pressure of life as a royal. But for now, these reports of Meg and Kate helping one another settle into their changing roles is a welcome change of pace.
