According to The Intercept , Carla Provost, chief of the Border Patrol, was quick to get her righteous indignation on when news broke that there was a racist Facebook group called “I’m 10-15” (10-15 is agency code for “aliens in custody”) for agents who wanted to spew their unfiltered hate toward immigrants seeking asylum in America. “These posts are completely inappropriate and contrary to the honor and integrity I see — and expect — from our agents day in and day out,” Provost said in a statement. “Any employees found to have violated our standards of conduct will be held accountable.” Thing is, Provost was/is full of s#!t because SHE was one of those employees who violated the standards and needs to be held accountable. She was named head of the agency in August 2018, three months later she left an innocuous comment in response to an agent questioning how she got such a high ranking position so fast. The obvious problem is that in her response she acted as if she knew nothing about this group that she was obviously a member of. Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., chair of the House Homeland Security Committee, sent a letter to the DHS Inspector General’s office last week specifically requesting that investigators examine whether Provost and Acting DHS Secretary Kevin McAleenan knew about or had previously addressed the problem of government personnel posting “violent, racist, misogynistic comments and pictures” in the “I’m 10-15” group. “This is why I have requested a full investigation into this matter,” Thompson said in a statement to The Intercept, after being informed of Provost’s participation in the group. “We need to know who in CBP leadership knew about these deplorable groups, when did they find out, and what action they took, if anything.” Provost and anyone else in this group needs to be fired, but we won’t hold out breath…
Source: Roberto Machado Noa / Getty Dairy Queen Employee Fired For Making An Inappropriate Cake A Dairy Queen employee in Georgia ended up being fired after she made a marijuana-themed cake for a woman’s 25th birthday. The whole ordeal began when Kensli Taylor Davis’ mother called a Dairy Queen and asked for a Moana -themed cake. A manager at the store who took the order misheard the request and thought she said “marijuana.” When Davis’ mother went to go pick up the cake, she received one that featured a picture of a marijuana plant as well as an extremely high My Little Pony. So, Moana , marijuana,” Davis explained to Georgia’s WMAZ-TV. I meeeean, the two words do sound alike. So they’ve got a point there–but you’d think the employee would clarify once or twice what the customer wants the theme of their cake to be. Anyway…. Kensli posted about the encounter on her Facebook page in good spirits, writing in her caption: “I haven’t had a chance to tell y’all about our experience this weekend with my birthday cake. So my mama called and ordered me a cake telling them how much I loved Moana. (Because really I do) Well needless to say these people thought she said marijuana That ice cream cake was still good though ” Cassandra Walker, the Dairy Queen employee who made the cake, opened up about the incident to USA Today after being fired. “This is back-to-school time. I have two little girls here,” explained Walker, who worked at Dairy Queen for around a year. “I have a car that needs fixing. It’s not funny to me.” She also says she made the cake with the approval of her manager. “The manager stood behind me while I pulled the images off the internet. She walked by as I decorated the cake. As I boxed the cake up, she was the one who walked it up to the front.” “This was a simple misunderstanding from the beginning,” Al Autry, one of the owners of the Dairy Queen, said in a statement given to USA Today . “Our cake decorator designed a cake based on what she thought she heard the customer order. When the customer picked it up and said it was not what she ordered, we immediately apologized for the error and offered to redesign it the way she originally intended. The customer said it was fine, paid for the cake and left.” Walker was eventually offered her job back, but says it was Autry who fired her in the first place. She declined the offer.

Last time the dynamic duo teamed up was back in 2011 with the now cult classic Just Go With It . But the hilarious pair have join forces once again for Murder Mystery . The Netflix original film tells the story of a New York cop and his wife who go on a European vacation to reinvigorate the spark in their marriage, but end up getting framed and go on the run for the death of an elderly billionaire. And needless to say, the film was clever and funny AF — all one hour and 37 minutes of it. I caught with Adam and Jennifer and they dished on murder mysteries, Saturday Night Live, and of course, Friends. When asked about his favorite Friends episode, the Happy Madison Productions founder said: “The one where Rachel spills hot coffee on herself. That was the best one. Come on, do it again!” As for Jennifer’s favorite SNL skit starring Sandler, she quickly answered: “Oh I love Opera Man! Love it.
