The couple is apparently celebrating their anniversary on occasion and Russell made a sweet post dedicated to his “special woman.” “Year three, my love. You know, she’s a special, special woman but I love that about you,” said the Seattle Seahawks Quarterback. “We love our kids, and you’re such a great mom.” “You’re just an amazing woman and an inspiration to so many people and so many ladies around the world. Cameron Boyce, known for his roles on Disney Channel projects including Descendants and Jessie, has died at the age of 20. The news comes directly from his family who released a statement to E! News ; “It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron. He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated.” “The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him. We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother.” His fellow Hollywood peers are public mourning his passing and his more than 8 million followers are flooding his Instagram page. Tragic and shocking news today out of the television universe: Cameron Boyce, a rising and popular actor best known for roles on Disney projects such as Descendants and Jessie, has been found dead. He was only 20 years old. According to a statement releasd by Boyce’s family, the actor passed away in his sleep after suffering a seizure. This is what the 20-year old’s loved ones wrote in their heartfelt statement: It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron. He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him. We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother. Boyce had been acting since he was nine years old and was deeply involved in charity work. In March of this year, he was actually introduced former Vice President Joe Biden at the Biden Courage Awards. He was also honored with the Pioneering Spirit Award at last year’s Thirst Gala, sponsored by the Thirst Project, a nonprofit for which Boyce raised $30,000 to build wells for clean drinking water in Swaziland. Cameron was a very impressive young man. “We offer our deepest condolences to his family, castmates and colleagues and join his many millions of fans in grieving his untimely passing. He will be dearly missed,” a Disney Channel spokesperson said in response to the awful news. After making his big screen debut in the film Mirrors, Boyce struck it big just two years later when he was cast as one of Adam Sandler’s children in the movie Grown Ups. He went on to achieve Disney stardom as one of the leads in show Jessie. Boyce starred as Luke Ross alongside the eponymous Jessie Prescott, played by Debby Ryan on a series that ran for four seasons and 98 episodes. His role in the Descendants films, which led cable TV film ratings in 2015 and 2017, catapulted him to even greater heights. B lack entrepreneur Don Peebles is investing in the futures of women and people of color in the real estate industry. According to The Real Deal , he’s launching a $500 million fund to support developers from underrepresented groups in South Florida, Los Angeles, New York and other cities. The new fund is another example of how Don Peebles has been a long-time game changer in his industry. https://t.co/9bl1w6ak7j — Black Enterprise (@blackenterprise) June 29, 2019 Peebles—who owns the real estate development firm Peebles Corp.—says he’s on a mission to level the playing field when it comes to access to capital. Through the fund he wants to work with developers from different cities throughout the country on projects that will be built on underdeveloped or vacant land. The projects will be a mix of commercial and residential buildings; some of which will have affordable housing units. According to Peebles, the fund will be supported by investors. He’s aiming to work on 60 different projects which will be between $10 million and $70 million each. “The idea is to create this business model that shows that investing in emerging developers and investing in diversity will result in higher returns with less risk,” he said while unveiling his plan at The Real Deal’s annual residential real estate event. “It’s a very positive thing to have the developments that are taking place in communities of color, to have the projects be developed by people of color. We see this as a win-win and an untapped market.” There are several entrepreneurs who are on a mission to make the real estate industry diverse. Johnetta G. Jenelle Evans and Amber Portwood have a lot in common. They are both members of Teen Mom Nation… they both have multiple children… and they've both run afoul of the law on multiple occasions. The latest (SERIOUS!) transgression took place early on the morning of July 5, when Portwood got arrested for felony domestic assault . The victim? Andrew Glennon, Amber's long-term boyfriend and the father of her one-year old son. According to a 911 dispatch call, Glennon feared for his toddler's life . Like we said: SERIOUS stuff. Let’s Start with What Happened Around 3 a.m. on July 5, Glennon texted 911 (this is permitted in the state of Indiana) and said that Amber attacked him while he was holding little James. 2. YIKES A spokesperson for the Indiana Police Department spoke to Radar Online and confirmed what led to Portwood’s arrest, telling the celebrity gossip website: “I received a text message from somebody saying that their life and their son’s life is in danger. During which time the female, later identified as Amber Portwood, assaulted him, while he was holding their 1-year-old child.” 3. Now What? Portwood was taken into custody on a FELONY charge of domestic violence. She is due in court for a hearing on July 8. 4. There’s a History Here A pretty major one: Amber was arrested back on 2010 for also attacking then-boyfriend Gary Shirley. 5. She Went to Jail for the Act After violating terms of her probation by taking drugs, Portwood spent 17 months in prison, starting in early 2013. 6. But Gary is Here for Her Now In a way.
