Source: JAYNE RUSSELL / Getty Harrison Barnes Volunteers To Cover Funeral Costs For Atatiana Jefferson According to TMZ , NBA player Harrison Barnes has stepped up and volunteered to pay for the funeral of Atatiana Jefferson, after she was shot and killed by a police officer while she was in her own home. After a neighbor called police to check on Jefferson because he saw a door was open at her home in Fort Worth, Texas, officer Aaron Dean then arrived at the home. He saw a person inside, and before ever announcing he was a police officer, he opened fire and shot Jefferson, killing the 28-year-old who was babysitting her 8-year-old nephew. Dean has been charged with murder. Now, Barnes has offered to help out the family and foot the bill for the funeral, which is scheduled for this weekend in Dallas.Philadelphia Eagles star Malik Jackson has followed Barnes’ lead also by pledging to pitch in and pay for the remainder of the fees for Jefferson’s service.
Source: Justin Sullivan / Getty Johnson & Johnson Recalls Bottles Of Its Signature Product After Finding Trace Amounts of Asbestos According to CBS , Johnson & Johnson recalled 33,000 bottles of baby powder after federal regulators found trace amounts of asbestos in a single bottle purchased online. The recall reportedly only pertains to lot number “22318RB.” A spokesman added that the company is still gathering information and investigating the issue. This recall comes on the heels of several lawsuits the company is facing. Recently, the company agreed to pay nearly $117 million to settle litigation over its marketing of trans-vaginal surgical mesh devices. Last week, a Philadelphia jury awarded $8 billion in punitive damages against J&J after their drug was linked to the abnormal growth of female breast tissue in boys.

Ortega / Getty Rosario Dawson’s Ex-Employee Sues Her Family For Transphobic Attack A transgender man who used to work for Rosario Dawson has filed a lawsuit claiming that he was abused and attacked violently by her mother a fit of transphobic rage. According to TMZ , Dedrek Finley, formerly known as Deidre, says he moved from NYC to LA in 2017 at the request of Rosario’s mother Isabel. Dedrek had been a family friend for years but had not told the Dawsons that he was trans until he arrived in California. Dedrek says that Rosario’s family, namely Isabel, her husband Gregory, and brother Gustavo, weren’t really feeling the trans lifestyle and allegedly made jokes about him and used the incorrect pronouns. He claims that he repeatedly told Rosario but she didn’t do much to put an end to the abuse. He claims Rosario also engaged in transphobic abuse because when Dedrek complained, Rosario allegedly said, “You’re a grown woman.” He claims he corrected her, but she replied, “Whatever.” Dedrek was living rent-free in a guest house on Rosario’s property and was charged with doing renovations. After the relationship with the family went left, he was told he had to move out. Dedrek alleges that Isabel knocked on his door on April 28, 2018 to talk but when he refused she threaten to kill his cat. Isabel also allegedly ripped a screen off a window, pulled him out through it, and began to beat him screaming, “You’re not so much of a man now.” He says Rosario then yelled, “Mom, stop being petty.” He says he thought she was coming to his defense, but instead he claims Rosario helped pin him so her mother could continue the beatdown. Dedrek also claims that one of the women took his cell phone possibly to delete a video that he had of Isabel threatening him and to stop him from calling the cops. At some point the police were contacted and a restraining order was placed against Isabel. His lawsuit checks assault, battery, trespass, discrimination, civil rights and labor violations as grievances for which he is seeking damages. No word from Rosario’s people about these incidents. To the surprise of many, it was announced that Chris Hemsworth would return to his role as Thor for an unprecedented fourth feature film. While many are excited and anticipating the 2021 release of Thor: Love & Thunder , the team at Marvel Studios is stuck making the biggest decision post Endgame: Do you keep Thor in the fat aesthetic he debuted in Endgame or return Chris Hemsworth to his lady-pleasing ripped body, which happens to be his natural state. Recently the director of the upcoming film Taika Waititi sat down with Yahoo to discuss the big question on everyone’s mind. While he’s working on the finishing touches for the script, he and Marvel still have no idea which direction to take Thor’s body. “This is an ongoing debate that we’re still having at Marvel,” Waititi told us during an interview promoting his new festival-winning comedic WWII drama Jojo Rabbit. “‘Cause we’re trying to figure out how long — how many months or years — this is after Endgame, at what point does this take place? I think we always want to keep changing it up with Thor. He’s so interesting when he’s changing all the time.” The entire purpose of Thor gaining weight was to convey the emotion he went through from losing everyone around him to Thanos. One of the cool things about being on Teen Mom is that you make a lot of money. Like, a lot . The moms and the original dads make hundreds of thousands of dollars per season, if you can even believe it, and they also get to travel for free if MTV is filming, which is pretty neat since we've been seeing a lot more vacations on the show recently. But besides the show itself, cast members are pulling in crazy amounts of cash from all kinds of wild and crazy places. “Like where?” you may be wondering. Well, wonder no further … 1. Dang As we’ve said, the original cast members — the moms and the dads of their first children — all make the same amount, which is somewhere in the neighborhood of $350,000 to $400,000 a season. But what else does everyone do? 2. Amber Portwood Let’s start with reviewing Amber’s side hustles — this will be the easiest to do, because she really doesn’t have any. 3. Not Much She shares articles on her Instagram page, which brings in some money, and she did appear on that one season of Marriage Boot Camp a couple of years ago, so that’s something. 4. A Quick Hobby For a little while there, she got into flipping houses with Matt Baier, but she hasn’t done that since he’s been gone. 5. Forever Haute She did have that sketchy clothing company for a little while, Forever Haute, but she hasn’t talked about it in a very long time, and the brand’s Facebook page hasn’t been updated for a year and a half, so it’s probably safe to say that that’s done. 6. On Thursday night, tempers flared between two long-time Jersey Shore cast members. During filming of the latest episode? Yes. But also over social media during the airing of this latest episode. As the past two installments of this MTV franchise have shown, there is major tension between Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Angelina Pivarnick — and it all has to do with Zack Clayton Carpinello. This immature 24-year old got drunk and acted like a sexist buffoon several months ago, groping Angelina on the dance floor of a nightclub after JWoww (his girlfriend at the time!) passed out from alcohol intake. This wasted escapade was featured last week’s Jersey Shore episode. Then, last night , viewers witnessed the fallout of a sober JWoww waking up the day after this inappropriate action was taken… and being deceived by Carpinello in regard to what transpired. Zack placed the blame on Angelina and alleged that she tried to kiss him . In present day, after she watched the episode a few days ago and saw what actually went down between her then-boyfriend and veteran co-star, Farley broke up with Carpinello , writing at the time: “For 5 months I was kept in the dark about this. For 5 months I was naive, probably laughed at and made into a story line that will forever haunt me. “My heart hurts on so many levels. “One thing I learned from tonight’s episode is know your value. Don’t ever lower your standards.” Despite mostly blaming Zack for initating the flirting with Angelina, however, JWoww also had some harsh words yesterday for Pivarnick. Live-Tweeting the episode, Farley posted the following online after witnessing Angelina knocking on her bedroom door and joking about having sex with both her and Carpinello: “Grinding on someone’s man? Asking for a 3 some? Kissing someone else’s BF? That’s a blatant disregard of boundaries.” Pivarnick, for her part, insisted she was just being playful. “When I asked about a three some everyone knew it was a joke,” she wrote back, adding: “I even knocked on their door and was laughing … I never had a three some in my life and I sure as hell wouldn’t want one at 33 years old.” Farley wasn’t having it, though. “Oh ok that makes sense,” she replied. “Glad what you did was a joke, and u grinding on him was a joke… and u kissing him was a joke… BUT when he joked back, you made it seem like he was a creep and destroyed him in interview. Got it. Makes total sense now.” Jenni’s beef with Angelina here seems to be less how she acted with Zack and more how she talked about him afterward. That is: Angelina was joking and flirting right back during the night in question… but then later made it sound like Zach was totally in the wrong and acting against her will. “Both are idiots but they instigated each other,” Farley told a fan about Zack and Angelina, explaining: “Only difference is Angelina gets to talk about it on the show… like if you were that uncomfortable tell me.. don’t tell others and text me how much fun it was.” Again, it’s worth remembering that all the actions here actually transpired a long time ago. Jenni and Angelina are just giving us their thoughts on what happened now, as the episodes play out on TV. And Zack is doing the same. “I made mistakes that I cannot take back, which I take full responsibility for. … I sincerely apologize to Jenni. I apologize to Angelina as well,” he wrote last week on Instagram .
