Source: Lourdes Sukari / Lourdes Sukari The internet is the pettiest place on Earth, in case you didn’t know. That’s why Yung Miami’s glorious pregnancy announcement has brought out pure comedy amongst the internet savages. Why? Because she was supposed to lead the charge for the Act Up, Bad Girl summers and she’s out here getting knocked up. Meg got a boo. Cardi B got a whole a$$ family and Miami is out here toting gut fulls of sobriety and quiet days on the beach. What is a hot girl to do? I’m sitting here reading comments under Yung Miami pregnancy post and this girl said “she was so busy screaming Period that’s she messed around and missed hers” — Gavin Myrick (@gav_20) June 12, 2019 All of this has led to pure comedy and good fun over Yung Miami’s announcement. Of course men are letting their ashiest thoughts take over, too as you know they are prone to do. It’s all a mess. Take a look…

The youngest brother, Nick Jonas, took the clapper, Joe found himself with the banana shaker, and Kevin rounded everything out by taking the triangle. Fallon sat in the middle of the group and functioned as a triple threat using the Casio keyboard, wood block, and an avocado shaker. As far as The Roots go, we already know these guys can play any type of instrument and make it look like the coolest ish in the world–which is definitely the case with these ones from the classroom. Questlove stands in the back with a hand clapper, Kamal is playing a rainbow xylophone, and Tariq rounds things out with a mini tambourine. As Entertainment Weekly points out, based on the outfits The Jonas Brothers are sporting, it seems like they filmed this segment at the same time they were in New York filming their hilarious short for Billy Eichner’s online series, Billy on the Street . This edition of “Sucker” with classroom instruments is just the latest stop for the Jonas Brothers’ during their long-anticipated comeback as they plan for the start of their first North American tour in nearly a decade, which begins this August. In the few months since they announced their family reunion, the band has been the musical guest on Saturday Night Live , stopped by Nickelodeon’s All That revival, and even hit up James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke during a full week of Jonas Brothers content on The Late Late Show. Check out Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas joining Jimmy Fallon and The Roots for a special edition of “Sucker” with Classroom Instruments below:
Earlier this year, the world learned that Amanda Bynes was back in rehab . It was her very brave choice after suffering a relapse. After the extreme drug use of her past, she’s taking all of the necessary steps to maintain her health. Unfortunately, she is now being sued … by one of the mental health facilities at which she stayed. Why?! Us Weekly reports that Creative Care Treatment Center is suing Amanda Bynes. “Our monthly residential treatment rate is $37,000,” CCTC claims in court documents obtained by the tabloid. “divided by 30 days is $1,233.33 per day.” ‘Daily rate times 2 and rounded up is $2,467.” The documents explain that Amanda “was a client” at their “dual diagnosis residential treatment center.” Amanda’s brief stint at Creative Care Treatment Center came early this year. This was before reports came out that she had checked herself into a rehab facility. The decision, reached in January, was not reached lightly. Instead, the former The Amanda Show star checked herself into rehab because of mounting pressure. Her return to public consciousness and conversation had been just a little too much. Amanda needed rehab after “a setback which was the result of feeling pressure of being back in the spotlight.” She returned to fame took place “after her [November 2018] Paper magazine cover.” Amanda had spoken courageously about her battle with mental illness. Fans were overjoyed to see how well she was doing. Even so, she needed rehabilitation “with the assistance of mental health counselors and addiction specialists.” Months later, her attorney, Tamar Arminak, explained to Access what had gone down. “This time around she realized herself after the recent Paper magazine interview and spread that she really wasn’t feeling like herself,” Arminak explained. Apparently this happened “all of [the] sudden and that she wanted to address that.” “She wanted to address it right away,” Arminak revealed. “Before going back into show business and exploring show business again.” “It was her decision and her choice to address the situation, seek treatment,” he emphasized. This was a decision “which I think is an incredibly mature way of handling this type of thing.” “Right now, her day-to-day is really just focusing on her well-being,” Arminak shared. “She’s exercising, [doing] yoga,” he revealed. “She’s really focusing in on herself, which is very, very important.” “I know that she will be sure this time around to focus on herself and get better before she leaves the treatment center,” Arminak predicted. He added: “Or wherever she’s seeking help currently.” That is very comforting to hear. Fortunately, we do not expect that this lawsuit will send her spiraling. Unlike show business, it is probably not a huge trigger for her addiction issues. And while Amanda has been out of the limelight for years, she still has an estimated net worth of several million dollars. No one likes being slammed by a bill for over $2,000, especially in such a public way. But hopefully she can easily afford it and put it behind her. Source: VALERIE MACON / Getty Samuel L. Jackson Talks Maintaining Marriage For 40 Years Samuel L. Jackson and his wife LaTanya Richardson will reach their 40th wedding anniversary next year and while on the red carpet at the NYC Shaft premiere, UsMagazine asked him about the secret to their success. In the celebrity world, 40 years might as well be 200 years, but Sam Jack and his beloved have found what you’d think is an obvious way to keep your relationship intact. Separate the two. “Our job is just a job, you go to work, we go to work,” Jackson added. “If I’m at home working, I love coming home and sleeping in my bed. I was working a lot of other different places, but she comes to visit. You know, we both come from the theater. She’s on Broadway right now doing To Kill a Mockingbird, I’m out in the world doing movies. We understand the bond we have, the commonality of experiences, the commonality of joy of the theater and of our lives and of our daughter’s life, so it’s easy for us to stay connected.” Imagine that, famous people living just like regular people.
Source: ANGELA WEISS / Getty Frank Ocean Opens Up In A ‘Dazed” Magazine Interview It’s rare the elusive Frank Ocean opens up about his personal life to the public. But more recently, he’s become a little more transparent . It helps when his own friends are interviewing him. In the summer issue for Dazed magazine, Frank had everyone from Billy Porter to Janet Mock to Big Freedia ask him a question and in most cases, his answers were direct and to the point and in other cases, he gave a little more details. Rapper JPEGMAFIA posed the question: JPEGMAFIA: How did it feel fu**ing over a label like that ( Ocean released Endless in 2016 to fulfill his contract with Def Jam, releasing Blonde independently one day later )? Old white ni**as do that to us all the time, but how did it feel giving them a taste of their own elixir? And what did you build in the video for Endless ? Can I live in it? FRANK OCEAN: Eyy, Peggy! You know, it’s funny talking about it these days because I couldn’t really tell anybody anything for a couple of years. Couldn’t tell anyone at the label, obviously. But I also couldn’t talk with anyone at Apple because the industry is too small and it would’ve gotten back to the label for sure. So I kept it to myself and a few in my circle. I carried my hard drives around with me when I travelled because I used to not store anything online. Those drives became a physical representation of the stakes. If the files had leaked, everything would have worked out very differently for me. When August came around and both projects were uploaded I felt the euphoria, yeah, but mostly I just needed to sleep. I probably slept something like 15 hours. To answer your second question, I built a 12-foot staircase with my fucking bare hands some days before! It’s in my storage, you want it?? Frank, who came out as loving a man in 2012, also discussed navigating the industry as a queer person with Billy Porter: BILLY PORTER: How are you navigating being queer in the music business? Do you feel marginalized? If so, why do you think this is the case? FRANK OCEAN: I navigate it pretty smooth so far. If anything my personal life needs the GPS sometimes. Source: grandriver / Getty Mukbang YouTube Videos Makes Bethany Gaskin Over $1 Million Are you familiar with the term “mukbang”? The latest online craze is a fairly straightforward practice. People sit at a table, in front of a camera, and eat the biggest, most over-the-top, messy, juicy, delicious foods you can imagine and talk s#!t for the enjoyment of their subscribers. On one level it’s digital gluttony that is emblematic of the major issues that America has with food, and on the other hand its strangely entertaining when the eater is engaging. Enter Bethany Gaskin, a mukbang YouTuber who is internet-famous for eating ridiculously big, butter-drenched, tender and succulent crab legs while judging the food talking about God-only-knows-what. She recently spoke to the NYTimes about her unlikely business venture and the way it’s impacted her life and her bank account. On her two YouTube channels, Bloveslife and BlovesASMR Eating Her Way, Mrs. Gaskin chats up her audience while eating king crab legs, mussels, lobster tails, hard-boiled eggs and roasted red potatoes. The videos, produced in her Cincinnati home, have made her a millionaire, she said. But getting into the business wasn’t about money; mukbang was more of a calling than a vocation. “I think of mukbanging as a ministry,” Mrs. Gaskin said. “I didn’t consult with my husband before I quit my job. I knew this was it, and I quit by faith.” Bethany’s YouTube channel current hosts 1.8 million subscribers and she’s at nearly 1 million Instagram followers, those are stats for clout. They’re stats for cash. Through advertising on her videos, Mrs. Gaskin said she has made more than $1 million, providing screenshots of a report from YouTube. Before becoming a YouTube sensation, Mrs. Gaskin, who has an associate’s degree in early childhood development, owned a day care facility. After five years, she sold the business and used the money to pay off loans and leases. She then got a job making circuit boards for the military for a year… …“Then I did a mukbang, and people just went crazy,” she said. “I was like, ‘People want to see me eat, this is weird,’ and since they were easier to record, I just started doing mukbangs and all of a sudden, it just took off from there.” Bethany’s story is crazy, we highly suggest that you read the entire piece HERE. Especially if you’re looking to become a successful YouTuber.
