Beth Chapman has taken a break from feuding with her stepdaughter to promote a new trailer for Dog's Most Wanted . In the new promo, Duane “Dog The Bounty Hunter” Chapman acknowledges his wife's cancer. In fact, it's relevant to the message that he wants to send to fugitives. Take a look: “Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman here,” Duane begins in this new clip shared by WGN. He stands before the camera, framed by darkness n a way that makes his nearly platinum hair seem brighter and his skin seem pinker. Beside him, Beth stands in an intense wig that forms a mane around her as they both stare at viewers. “My wife, the love of my life, is fighting for her life,” Duane shares. “Instead of being at home helping her,” he says. “I’m out here looking for you.” Duane hopes that any fugitives who happen to for some reason be watching this promo take his warning to heart. “I’m warning you in advance,” he cautions. “May God have mercy on you when I get you,” He doubles down on his warning: “because I won’t.” The implication here is that he will take out his frustrations over his wife's horrific cancer battle upon any fugitives he encounters. “You've been warned,” Beth chimes in. Beth Chapman is grappling with throat cancer which, once in remission, has returned and spread. “I don’t go to God and go, ‘Why did I get cancer?’” Beth shared earlier this year. “He’ll roll his eyes at me again,” Beth predicted. “Because I know why.” Beth explained that she believes that she has cancer “because this is the ultimate test of faith.” Whatever opinions any of us may have about that, theologically or medically, we don't feel the need to debate a cancer patient. “It is the evidence of things hoped for,” Beth expressed. “And it is the substance of things not known.” We think that she's describing faith, there, not cancer itself. Beth also explained why she was happier on the road, filming with her family, than receiving treatments that might prolong or even save her life. “Chemotherapy is not my bag, people,” Beth stated. “Sorry, that’s not for me.” “So for me, this is the ultimate test of faith,” she explained. “This is my ultimate lesson.” “And it will either be taught to me or to you,” Beth shared. We suppose that who learns the lesson is contingent upon Beth's ultimate fate. “And I am fine with taking the hit for everyone else,” Beth expressed. “Because,” she explained. “I think I know another guy who did the same thing.” Some might have gone with a Job analogy for Beth's suffering, but she skipped right to Jesus. Some may question why Beth would spend what may be her final months filming a show that some consider clownish or embarrassing. We would point out that, perhaps accidentally, Dog's Most Wanted has helped to highlight some real problems in our justice system. Almost all laws related to bounty hunters have been on the books since the 1800s. Though Duane is more careful (and, of course, on camera), some bounty hunters barge into the wrong house. People have died. Something has to change. But that's not why Beth is staying on the show. She wants to be with the people she loves, doing what she loves, for as long as she can.
We all know that David Eason is a terrible human being. For the past few years, it was an “alleged” thing — like most of us felt very strongly that he was a really bad person, but there wasn't any real proof. But now, there are just heaps and heaps of it! David is so bad that he killed her dog, got her fired from Teen Mom 2, and gotten all the kids removed from her custody. It's a scary situation. One that's made only worse because, according to a friend of Jenelle's, he's been physically abusing her throughout all of this. 1. Positive, if bittersweet, news came last week, as R. Kelly was charged with 11 additional sex crimes . The widely despised rapper is accused of grooming underage girls, having sex with them, and recording sickening videos of his alleged crimes. According to a former employee’s testimony, there are more tapes out there, because they were kept as “trophies.” Horrific. According to TMZ , a former employee of R. Kelly has testified before a grand jury about the disgraced rapper. Within the testimony, he accused Kelly of regularly recording sex with underage girls. He told the grand jury that his former boss kept the recordings as trophies. While testifying in the Northern District of Illinois on Thursday, the ex-employee said that he had, at one time, been in possession of some of these tapes. It is currently believed that a number of these recordings are in the possession of federal law enforcement. As the former employee testified, R. Kelly allegedly offered a sizable sum of cash for one such recording to be returned. (We can read between the lines and gather that there was nervousness about more recordings getting in the hands of prosecutors) It sounds like the employee obliged … yet also, “somehow,” Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx also received a copy. TMZ ‘s sources say tha the testimony mentioned surrendering several additional videos to federal investigators. Said videos are also said to feature minors engaged in sex acts. The testimony is said to have included an open admission that those who worked directly for R. Kelly knew about his alleged fondness for minor girls. Unfortunately, instead of alerting authorities, they are said to have actively helped him. The former employee testified that Kelly’s crew would help him find new underage girls to groom, seduce, and victimize. The reviled rapper’s attorney, Steve Greenberg, didn’t sound shocked or impressed when he spoke to TMZ about the testimony. “This seems to be the same claims that were made in the state case,” Greenberg said. “We will address them in court.” Greenberg is referring to testimony heard by a federal grand jury that was also in Illinois. See, according to a number of alleged victims of R. Kelly, they were transported across state lines while they were in his thrall. To be clear, they told the grand jury that they were underage at the time, and that the transportation was for sexual purposes. As you are likely aware, crossing state lines during the commission of an alleged crime makes it a federal case. But since Kelly is accused of being a prolific predator, the state has plenty of local charges to level at him. There are two additional federal probes into the accusations against R. Kelly. One is in New York’s eastern district. The other is in New York’s southern district. In both cases, it seems very likely that investigators will move forward. The abundance of evidence against Kelly, the number of alleged victims coming forward, and overwhelming public opinion are on their side. It is, of course, cause for celebration that R. Kelly’s alleged reign of terror appears to be at an end. But … we shouldn’t count our eggs before they hatch, right? Kelly has evaded justice for decades. And even if he is convicted and sentenced to a billion years in prison, that victory will be bittersweet. There should not be so many accusers coming forward, or other alleged survivors remaining silent. This should never have happened.
