While the family petitioned the court for guardianship, Foster wrote that she was opposed to the idea of her daughter living with her aunt, Nipsey’s sister. “I strongly oppose both of the petitions filed by Samantha Alexandria Smith, Samiel Asghedom and Angelique Smith,” Foster says. “I am the mother of Emani Asghedom and there is no good reason my rights as her mother should be taken away from me, or otherwise reduced as her mother.” Apparently, a judge didn’t agree. The family has called Foster unfit while she maintained that after Nipsey’s death, things became very difficult for her. She claimed that the family kicked her out of the apartment Nipsey paid for. She claimed the family tarnished the co-parenting relationship she and Nipsey had built over the years. The court found that Nipsey’s family provided enough evidence to prove that Nipsey’s siblings Samantha Smith, Sam Asghedom and his mother Angelique Smith have been named Emani’s guardians. Emani is expected to inherit half of Nipsey’s 2 million estate. The son he shares with Lauren London, 3-year-old Kross, will inherit the other half. The big news on the internet in celebrity nudes the last few days, is that Suzanne Somers posted a weird nude in a field pic of herself to celebrate her 73rd birthday, which was only shocking because I thought she was 95. The set of tank top wearing braless hard nipple tits we jacked off to in the late 70s…who became a set of tits we jerked off to in her thighmaster infomercials despite being old then…and now at a real old age…she’s attempting to give us more and we should in turn give her some credit and appreciation for 4-5 decades of jerk off material…not that you cna really jerk off to this one but I know some of her fans already have, it is old news…but it’s the thought / effort that counts…I guess… Now if only all the old ladies in the park feeding the pigeons and trying to pet my dog took the same approach…it’d make life way more depressing as that constant reminder of how woman fucking rot… So here she is holding her big old tits…for surviving Hollywood. Yeah, OK: 5 Excuses You Hear When A Friend Has No Intention To Pay You Back
Source: LaylaBird / Getty If the world has taught us anything, it’s that people of color define diversity. Our hair type and complexion fall on a extremely wide spectrum. For years the beauty industry ignored the needs of the Black and Brown community by limiting their products to those who fit within their guideline. Once entrepreneurs started creating products that reflected their needs, bigger companies followed suit. Brands took an active role in becoming more inclusive to various skin tones and hair textures. While this is step in the right direction, haircare brand Aveda shows us there’s still a ways to go. This week, Aveda charge a curly haired customer of color a $10.00 “texture fee” because her hair would require more products. In a now viral tweet, Audre voiced her disbelief. So I just got charged $10 extra at Aveda salon for the “textured” hair fee. The woman at the counter said, “It's because we have to use extra product. It's not meant to be discriminatory.” Is it just me or is that not okay? — Audre Lawda Mercy (@k_lisarae) October 15, 2019 “ So I just got charged $10 extra at Aveda salon for the “textured” hair fee. The woman at the counter said, “It’s because we have to use extra product. It’s not meant to be discriminatory.” Is it just me or is that not okay? “ It’s not you. And no, this is not okay. Audre continued to say, “ The response was that all curly-haired folks get charged more, especially when flat-ironed. It’s the principle. If I am paying u to wash and style my hair, just because its curly doesn’t mean it takes more product or time. It just means there’s a different styling process .” Another user responded, “ Why is straight hair the standard? All bodies should be treated equally. @aveda is surcharging based on genetics. Norm or not, it’s not ethical. ” Why is straight hair the standard? All bodies should be treated equally. @aveda is surcharging based on genetics. Norm or not, it's not ethical. — Lauren Davis (@WriterLDavis) October 16, 2019 Aveda caught wind of the commotion and responded to Audre saying, “ We’re concerned to hear of your experience, @k_lisarae. Please DM us with additional information. While our salons are independently owned and operated, we will ensure this matter is shared with the appropriate teams. “ Once again, there is an issue that screams lack of diversity. A customer shouldn’t have to pay a fee because their hair texture requires more product. Perhaps a modification of the products that address the needs of curly, kinky, and coily hair is a better solution. Planet earth is the home to billions of people who look, speak, and act differently. In such a diverse world, we still encounter these moments that make people of color question why their physical attributes are not good enough to co-exist with everyone else’s. Although Aveda stated they’re “independently owned and operated”, this mentality is not specific to the store that Audre visited. This policy is practiced by other companies all over the world. Audre and Aveda have not come to a conclusion yet, but I hope she is vindicated. What is likely to happen is Aveda will put out a statement and conduct an equity and inclusion training for their staff. This has become the formula brands resort to when their employees lack good judgement. It’s time for brands to look inward and figure out a better solution. *We reached out to Audre but heard nothing back by time of publication* DON’T MISS Cincinnati Might Be Outlawing Natural Hair Discrimination Walmart Accused Of Racism For Locking Black Haircare Products Behind Glass Lush Cosmetics Releases New Hair Products After 2-Year Gap [ione_media_gallery src=”https://hellobeautiful.com” id=”3057941″ overlay=”true”]

Source: Bertrand Rindoff Petroff / Getty Zoë Kravitz has been serving up cool girl slayage for years now, but you would be surprised to know that the “ Big Little Lies ” star has struggled with defining her look. While it can be hard to believe that the YSL ambassador is just coming into her own on the beauty front , this once again proves that celebs are just like us! In a recent interview with Refinery29 , the actress revealed that just like many young Black woman , she has had her reservations about her natural hair. “The struggle’s always been real for me and my hair,” she tells the publication.” The options can seem limited when you have a kinkier texture. I really prefer my hair being natural. While natural hair can be a huge deal for many young Black women who has experienced push back from society about their coily texture, Zoe shares that beauty lane as a whole has been a bit of a personal transformation. “The same goes for makeup, too,” she’s continues. “It shouldn’t be something you use to cover up. And I feel like YSL Beauty isn’t asking me to cover myself up or be something I’m not. Makeup should highlight your individuality.” We have to admit, this is refreshing to hear. In the current Instagram-era where many people believe in Facetune and heavy makeup, perfection can be an unrealistic goal in beauty. It’s nice to see a celeb get real and honest about the constructs of the beauty world. As the star goes through a timeline of her looks through her interview, we see how she gradually experimented with her look to find her niche and transformed into a beauty icon before our eyes. From little to no makeup to edgy looks and ultimately graduating to safe and classy beauty moments, Zoe is truly unpredictable and we can’t get enough. Source: Gareth Cattermole / Getty Beyonce Declared 2nd Most Beautiful Woman If there’s one thing we know about Beyonce it’s this: she should never be second place at anything, let alone being called a beautiful woman. Well tell that to the *squints* Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi who used an equation to determine beauty. Beyonce came in second but guess who was first: View this post on Instagram new @michaelkors by miss baby bluesss @zoeygrossman @paulcavaco #michaelkors #ad A post shared by (@bellahadid) on Oct 15, 2019 at 3:13pm PDT Bella Hadid. Now, don’t get us wrong. She’s a beautiful woman. However, WE ARE TALKING ABOUT BEYONCE. The Golden Ratio determined that Hadid was 94.35% out of 100. Beyonce was a mere 92.44%. We demand a recount. The Hive does too as they expressed all their fury at the decision. Peep the outrage and comedy that ensued. According to this article, Bella Hadid is the 'most beautiful woman in the world'. The fact that Beyonce's nose was the only one in the 80% range is screaming that Eurocentric features will always dominate the beauty/cosmetic industry.
