Earlier this week, we reported on the news that Hayden Panettiere’s boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, had been arrested for domestic violence . Despite the fact that he’s been with Hayden for several months now, very little is known about Hickerson — and the more fans find out, the more they don’t like him. Details of Hickerson’s arrest have been hard to come by, but we know that Hayden was involved in the altercation. We also know that it was not the first such incident for Hickerson. In October of 2018, Hickerson was arrested after allegedly assaulting his father. Hayden was on hand for that incident, too — and friends encouraged her to leave the relationship before she became his next victim. Sadly, it appears that’s exactly what happened when Hickerson allegedly attacked Panettiere on Friday night. Now, police reports from the night of the incident confirm fans’ worst fears, as it looks as though an altercation between Hayden and Brian became violent, and Hayden was the victim. One of the LAPD officers who arrived on the scene says neighbors dialed 911 when noises from the next house made it clear a couple was involved “in both [a] physical and verbal argument.” The report indicates that one person was heard clearly yelling “ouch.” It’s unclear at this time if Panettiere and Hickerson are still involved romantically — but it is clear that Hayden’s family is hoping she’ll end the relationship. “I knew he had an incident with his father and he has a tendency to do that [physical violence],” Hayden’s mother, Lesley Vogl, tells Radar Online. “Never had I thought it would be against Hayden or I would have addressed it sooner. I have addressed many things,” This is far from the first indication that Hayden and Brian’s relationship is highly dysfunctional. Around the time that Hickerson allegedly attacked his father, it was reported that friends and family feared Hayden was drinking herself to death . The actress’ alcohol consumption was a contributing factor in her estrangement from her 4-year-old daughter, and insiders made it clear that they blamed her boozing on Hickerson .
