Source: NBC / Getty O n April 17, director John Singleton suffered a stroke after returning from a trip in Costa Rica. At the time, it was reported that it was a mild stroke and that the flight back may have triggered it. “On Wednesday, April 17, our beloved son/father, John Singleton, suffered a stroke while at the hospital. John is currently in the ICU and under great medical care,” said Singleton’s family said in a statement to ET . “We ask that privacy be given to him and our family at this time and appreciate all of the prayers that have been pouring in from his fans, friends and colleagues. Thank you, The Singleton Family.” However, things are reportedly much worse than what was originally reported. According to TMZ , Singleton actually suffered a major stroke and is currently in a coma. TMZ got a hold of some legal documents that show that Singleton’s mother, Shelia Ward, is asking to be appointed to be his temporary conservator. Singleton was allegedly involved in several business projects and was prepared to sign “a lucrative settlement agreement,” and his mother wants to handle those affairs while Singleton is hospitalized. According to Yahoo , “a physician submitted a declaration, saying John Singleton was suffering from “major impairment to motor skills and psychological functions, including his ability to ‘reason logically.’” Singleton is a legendary film director, screenwriter and producer who is famously known for directing Boys n the Hood , which gained him a nomination for Best Director at the Academy Awards — making him both the first black man and the youngest ever to receive that nomination. Singleton also directed classics like Poetic Justice, Higher Learning, Baby Boy and 2 Fast 2 Furious. He also wrote all mentioned except 2 Fast, 2 Furious. Singleton has also been an advocate for black voices in media, criticizing Hollywood for not letting black men and women direct black-themed films.

Hasson made a request to be released last week because prosecutors have not charged him with any terrorism-related crimes. Strangely, despite the obvious circumstances surrounding Hasson’s initial arrest, a judge gave him the chance to ask for his freedom if he was not charged with the crimes the prosecution laid out in the court filings. But prosecutors say that can’t happen, noting that a Maryland grand jury brought a four-count indictment charging Hasson with illegal possession of unregistered and unmarked silencers, illegal possession of 17 firearms by an addict of controlled substances, and possession of the opioid Tramadol. The new filing provides new details about what prosecutors allege Hasson planned to do with these materials. Based on the things Hasson has been searching on the internet, it’s pretty clear why prosecutors don’t want this guy walking the streets. Those searches, between summer 2017 and his February 2019 arrest, include “white homeland,” “when are whites going to wake up,” “please god let there be a race war,” and “best ni**er killing gun.” In addition to the “hit list” he maintained of prominent Democrats and journalists, Hasson searched for the home addresses of two Supreme Court justices “within minutes before and after searching firearm sales websites.” ALL that said… BREAKING: Federal judge agrees to release Coast Guard Lt. According to TMZ , the Singleton family is currently in the process of establishing a conservatorship for him. Legal documents show that John’s mom, Shelia Ward , is asking a judge to appoint her temporary conservator because he is “unable to properly provide for his personal needs for physical health, food, clothing, or shelter.” She also wants to handle and execute the lucrative settlement agreement and the various business projects John was working on at the time of his stroke. As we reported, the legendary director checked himself into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. last week after returning from Costa Rica and experiencing problems in his legs. At the time, family members categorized his stroke as mild, but turns out it was much more severe than they thought. Let’s keep John and his family in our prayers.

I thought we lived in an era where you can’t target a specific group of people, because it is shaming, mean, evil… Bloggers, like fat people, black people, gay people, trans people, apparently have feelings too….feelings that Ariana Grande doesn’t care about…as she groups all bloggers into a lump and shits on them….with a shitty fucking poem… I do not feel attacked by her poem to bloggers because my site doesn’t exist, barely exists, if Ariana Grande was aware of it, I’d be very surprised… Plus I don’t actually consider myself a blogger, that’s for teen girls and fags…and because her poem is fucking dumb….. I just don’t understand how it’s ok for her to write a poem about fat people but it’s wrong for me to say that the Terrorist Attack at her concert should have had better aim, or that her fans that she is responsible for killing, and the fact that she vapidly continues to go on working when she should kill herself like she was her boyfriend Mac Miller…but doesn’t cuz she’s so into herself she doesn’t fucking care….and he only killed himself to avoid her… She’s a public figure, a midget, ugly disgusting, American hating cunt…who doesn’t produce good music and is just lucky Disney created her….
