According to league sources, the Oakland Raiders running back isn’t planning to return to the field this coming season. ESPN reports : With the three-day NFL draft kicking off Thursday night in Nashville, Tennessee, the Raiders have one more potential need to address: running back. Minus Lynch, the Raiders’ backfield now will be left with backs such as Isaiah Crowell, Jalen Richard, DeAndre Washington and Chris Warren. Lynch, who turned 33 on Monday, plans to move on to the next phase of his life. Lynch’s stint with the Raiders had highs and lows, but “Beast Mode” continued to be entertaining and productive. Last season, he was tied for fifth in the AFC with 331 rushing yards through Week 5 when he suffered what eventually became a season-ending groin injury against the Seattle Seahawks, his former team, in London. Two weeks ago, Wendy Williams filed to divorce her awful husband , Kevin Hunter. Even Wendy’s harshest critics have applauded the move, especially when they learned that she had hired security in fear of her safety around him. Now, she’s also taking steps to ensure her financial security — by cutting him off. TMZ reports that Wendy Williams has hired a team to ensure that her finances are secure. She has severed Kevin Hunter’s access to her accounts and created all new funds. Wendy apparently began this process before serving Kevin with divorce papers. As with hiring the security team, she wanted everything in place before he knew what was happening. She hasn’t limited this conscious uncoupling to money matters, either. Wendy has already secured a new home for herself in Manhattan. TMZ reports that she signed the lease a few weeks ago. She also went ahead and paid for an entire year’s rent. This is no small move, by the way. As you may recall, she and Kevin resided together in New Jersey. We covered the financial and personal (physical) separation. But we’ve already reported the professional separation. Wendy Williams fired Kevin Hunter from her show, where he had worked as an executive producer. She wasn’t sure about that at first, but ultimately realized that they simply could not work together. Kevin Hunter may play second fiddle to Wendy, but he’s known for being a savvy businessman. TMZ notes that he is expected to demand some sort of severance package if the show wants him to go quietly into this good night. Of course, Kevin Hunter could have avoided this entire situation if he’d just modified his behavior a little. Not everyone knows this, but most women have this quirk where they don’t love it when their husbands cheat on them. They can be especially picky about husbands fathering children outside of wedlock. Who knew? And then there is a much more serious allegation that has barely been whispered, but may play a larger role in this divorce than anyone imagined. Back in January, during Wendy’s infamous hiatus from The Wendy Williams Show , police visited Wendy at home. According to the report made by the officers, they found Wendy in bed, covered up. She told them that she was recovering from a broken shoulder. The visit was because an anonymous caller claiming to work on Wendy’s show told the police that her husband may have been poisoning her. When they asked her if this was true, she teared up but denied it. Now, some fans have taken this to mean that Wendy is divorcing Kevin because he was slipping poison into her food. But other fan theories are more nuanced — and more likely sounding than an arsenic poisoning. It’s 2019, not 1940. Some believe that Kevin may have been deliberately enabling Wendy’s addiction, possibly in the hopes of getting all of her money. It has even been speculated that he did so because he knew that his affair and his newly fathered lovechild was about to blow up in his face. But we must stress that we do not know any of that, and that fan theories are not the same thing as official accusations from Wendy, let alone actual facts. Source: Jonathan Minster / Getty 44-year old Martha Ciguenas was arrested on Monday on an aggravated child abuse charge after officials say she 9-year-old son with a meat tenderizer during an argument over his homework. According to the police report, the boy didn’t tell Ciguenas that he was supposed to do additional homework while he was on spring break and she became irate, throwing a water bottle and cellphone at him but missing him. “At one point, Ciguenas grabbed a glass candle holder and hit him in the head with it twice, then grabbed a metal meat tenderizer and hit him in the head, causing lacerations. Ciguenas continued to yell and scream at the boy and hit him on the arm with the tenderizer, causing spike marks and indentations that started bleeding.” Ciguenas denied striking the boy but after child protection services examined him, they concluded that the injuries “were consistent with child physical abuse.” The mom is currently in jail and being held on $5,000 bond. To do so, the tech giant reportedly rolled out very quietly ad-supported music streaming service that could help it gain ground on Spotify. Amazon who already has the third-largest music subscription service behind Spotify and Apple Music is looking to make a serious play for the top spot in the streaming wars. The new platform will be completely free thanks to it being ad-supported and will work exclusively with the tech giants Alexa-enabled smart speakers. Per MSN : “Amazon is looking to launch a free, ad-supported music service in a move that would represent the clearest threat yet to Spotify’s dominance, according to a report from Billboard. The service would be geared toward Amazon’s voice-activated Echo smart speakers and would feature a limited catalog of songs.” “In order to secure the rights to this music, Amazon has reportedly agreed to pay some record labels a per-stream rate, at least initially, regardless of how much advertising is included on the platform.” This new service will be the company’s third music subscription platform. Amazon already offers Prime Music that gives its users access to a catalog which features over 2 million songs as an added bonus to their $119 Amazon Prime subscription. There is also Amazon Music Unlimited which costs $9.99, $7.99 for Prime members and $3.99 a month for those who use a single Echo or Fire TV devices and offers users access to a catalog of 50 million songs. Experts feel this new service could cut into Spotify’s 116 million monthly active users it reported it had in 2018.
