Despite being on the receiving end of some nasty name-calling last week, Vicki Gunvalson was in high spirits on this week’s episode. The Real Housewives of Orange County showed Vicki and Steve both hyped for their then-impending engagement. But Kelly Dodd has dropped a bombshell. Did Vicki buy the ring herself as a prop for a TV stunt? On this week’s The Real Housewives of Orange County , Vicki Gunvalson was on the hunt. She was scrambling through Steve Lodge’s golf cart for an engagement ring that she was just certain he was hiding there. At the same time as she was snooping through Steve’s belongings, Steve confirmed to Tamra that Vicki was exactly right. Steve shared that he was “already planning my proposal. I already have the ring. Everything’s set to go.” But one person just wasn’t willing to buy this as an authentic storyline — and that person was Kelly. Kelly Dodd took to social media as the episode aired to call out Vicki and make an astounding claim. “You know where the ring is of course,” Kelly accused on Twitter. She explained why Vicki must know the truth: “Cuz you bought the ring.” While Vicki Gunvalson would not be the first reality star to purchase her own engagement ring, we don’t know that Kelly is right about this. But if so, it would make this engagement look more like a stunt for TV than a real plan to get married. Kelly’s accusation of course earned her a Twitter user asking “Where’s your ring, Kelly Dodd?” “It’s coming!!” Kelly vowed. “Watch baby!” She then added an emoji of a baby’s milk bottle, which unless you’re breastfeeding, speaking of a literal baby, or have a particular kink is … weird. But it sounds like Kelly is every bit as confident in her own romantic prospects as she is in her claims about Vicki. Kelly also claimed that her ex, Dr. Brian, also offered her a ring of her own, and … fans are not sure what to believe about that. Fans have worried about Kelly’s alarming behavior for a while, and some are afraid that she’s out for blood. “Vicki and Steve, Congratulations on your engagement!” one fan wrote Thursday morning beside Vicki’s sweet engagement photo from April. “I am very happy for you both,” the fan expressed. “Please have a lovely wedding.” The follower then warned: “Don’t invite Kelly Dodds as she is nota friend and out to create nothing but trouble for any of you.” Ooh, that sounds dire! “Go on with your lifes and ignore all she says,” the fan counseled. The comment continued: “She must be very unhappy herself as she isn’t focused on her own happiness.” The fan opines that Kelly is interested in “just stirring the the pot, so to speak!” “You both make a beautiful couple,” the follower praised, concluding: “God Bless, Peace, Happiness, Love Forever” That is some nice, if thoroughly unsolicited, advice. Honestly … maybe the weirdest part of this whole thing was seeing Vicki root around through Steve’s stuff for the ring. Searching someone else’s belongings is not okay, and not indicative of a healthy relationship. But we have to remember that it’s not like Vicki was secretly caught doing this. She knew that the cameras were rolling. And she had also known for months that the engagement was coming up. The search for the ring was, well, TV drama. Chris refers to Zack as a “clown” and threatens to “knock this guy’s teeth out.” In a confessional, Vinny Guadagnino says he is “seriously worried about the next time we’re gonna be together.” “It's like Zack's word against Angelina's,” Pauly D says in a deep conversation with Vinny and Ronnie. Meanwhile, Jenni claims at one point that everything is reversed and that Angelina is the one who acted inappropriately with Zack. “We need to figure out what happened,” Snooki says calmly, to which Jenni fires back, “She f-cking kissed him!” Cut to a group meal and Angelina pressing Jenni over whether she's “trying to be grimy now,” which prompts Jenni to jump up in a blazing fury and pound on the table. She repeats, “Grimy?! Grimy?!” in stunned disbelief. Important takeaway here: Never refer to Jenni Farley as grimy apparently. “Now it’s an all-out war,” Vinny says. For the record: Angelina and Chris have been engaged since January of 2018, while JWoww started dating Zack in March amid her divorce from Roger Mathews, which the ex-couple finalized in August. “I never in a million years thought I would be dating someone younger than me,” JWoww told Angelina and Mike Sorrentino’s wife, Lauren Sorrentino, on a recent episode, adding in extreme detail: “We’re completely different. … Not my style at all. Oops , Audrey Roloff appears to now be saying… … my bad ! A day after the former Little People, Big World star garnered a great deal of backlash for offering up some rather warped dating advice, the expecting mother of one is here to explain herself. Or at least try to explain herself. Here’s what’s been going on: Earlier this week, Audrey — who penned a book about love and relationships with her husband, Jeremy, and who thinks she’s an expert on this topic — posted a photo of herself and her man. It was very cute, as you can see below. But the caption she wrote along with it was a tad less adorable. This is the photo: And this was the polarizing caption: “SINGLE LADIES: To all my girls out there that are “hanging out” with a guy that you’re just not sure about… “You can’t help who you fall in love with, but you CAN help who you spend time with.” She concluded: Be careful spending too much time with someone you don’t see yourself marrying because you just might fall in love with them…. And falling in love with someone you don’t see yourself marrying only ends in hurt. Guard your heart so that you can give it undividedly to your future husband. You would want him to do the same for you. Many readers were simply confused by Audrey’s logic here. How, exactly, can one be confident early in a relationship that one might fall inlove with one’s partner… and yet think that partner would never be one’s spouse? Seems like an antithetical notion, doesn’t it? Moreover, why must a woman even think this way, many critics have asked? As summed up by the remark below, why can’t a woman (or a man) just date, have fun, learn a lot about him or herself, maybe fall in love, maybe get hurt and just figure life out as it comes? There’s something both antiquated and sexist in thinking that a woman should be thinking about marriage at all times, isn’t there? We aren’t the only ones saying this, either. “This kind of advice is based on the antiquated idea that women are not pure or are somehow damaged after they have been with or ‘loved’ someone. It’s super regressive,” wrote a user in Audrey’s Comments section, adding: “You can love, get hurt, learn and be a better person for the one you chose to marry.” Well said, no? The clap back prompted Audrey to respond as follows: “Woah. Definitely don’t think those women are somehow damaged or not pure. That is not what I’m saying.” So… what was Audrey saying? She didn’t really elaborate. But Jill Duggar responded to the message with an “Amen!,” which is sort of damning in and of itself, considering many believe the Duggars are basically a cult and view women solely as creatures who can bear their husband children. All this said, we’re guessing Audrey meant well. She probably meant well when she offered a few tips on finding a godly husband as well. Perhaps, however, Audrey would be better served going forward if she stopped thinking she knew everything there is to know about love, relationships, sex and marriage. Then y’all n*ggas gonna use what I said, chop it the f*ck up, chop it up, and try to make me look like I’m some wack ass mom. Get the f*ck out of here!” Access Hollywood subsequently deleted the post, causing some to ask Cardi to apologize to the outlet for the social media dragging. Cardi once again had time and hopped back on her favorite medium to discuss the idea of her apologizing. If you guessed she basically said hell no, you were absolutely correct. “Everybody say sh*t when they upset…People say all type of crazy sh*t, so when I say crazy sh*t, people just want to highlight it because they hate me. They ask every single blogger, ‘Oh my God, can you please talk about how Cardi said, this-this-and-that?’…If you think that it’s wrong, it is what it is, but I ain’t gonna apologize for you.” She also added that every time she takes the high road and apologizes, it doesn’t matter because people still continue to remind her of the mistake she is atoning for. Don’t think of this as some side hobby. The Ethiiopian born teen has partnered with jeweler Robert Procop to release a line called Zahara Collection. Robert Procop is a designer favorite of Angelina Jolie, so I’m sure mom had something to do with this connection. In 2012, Angelina Jolie partnered with Procop on a collection titled Style of Jolie. Polaris Hosts Test Drive In Southwest Oregon The southwest coast of Oregon is full of pine tree forests that stretch down to the ocean, sand dunes that go on as far as the eye can see and coastline that is so picturesque that it looks like it came out of a storybook. And it was the perfect backdrop for a three-day trip to test drive Polaris’ newest fleet of off-road and specialty vehicles. The vehicle maker invited a select group of media and tastemakers (like Snoop Dogg’s son Cordell Broadus and social media star Mapy) to test the new Slingshot – a three-wheeled convertible-style roadster, and the Rzr – a four-wheeled off-road vehicle – among the natural splendor. After checking into our hotel, the Inn At Fifth in Eugene, we spent the afternoon getting to know each other and getting outfitted with Polaris gear to get us ready to drive. Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty The next day, we drove to the coast, taking in the beautiful scenery along the way: rushing streams, the occasional farm, forests and open fields. We first arrived at the Spinreel Dune Buggy & ATV Rental in North Bend, where after a safety check, we piled into our Rzr’s and set out for the sand dunes. Cruising the dunes in the Rzr was a blast – especially riding the four-wheeler all the way up a dune and then careening down it. After a lunch of local Dungeness Crab at the Coos History Museum, we got into our Slingshots for the final drive of the day. The two-seater resembled a cross between the Batmobile and a motorcycle, and the convoy of our Slingshots driving through the streets and highways along the state’s coast turned heads wherever we went. Riding in the open air Slingshot with the music blasting was simply exhilarating. No wonder celebs like Chris Brown are fans. Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty We ended our trip by driving the Slingshots to the Heceta Head Lighthouse – a scenic spot that had its own beach – where put our feet in the water and snapped a group photo. This reporter had never experienced – or even considered – off-roading or specialty vehicles before, but after this trip, we realized that it can be an exciting soft adventure for the whole family and a thrilling way to see the country.
