Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Wedding: Back On?!?

They’ve been through an awful lot in the past few months, but they’ve come through it stronger than ever. And now Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are getting married!!! If you somehow believe the latest issue of OK! Weekly , that is. A tabloid source claims the original plans for a Robsten wedding were delayed “for a short while” because both halves of the couple “were overwhelmed by all the hype and pressure surrounding their relationship.” But now? Tye are “once again heading full-speed toward the altar – a wedding that may well take place in Australia,” alleges this totally not-made-up insider. Ironically, while Stewart and Pattinson are planning their fake wedding, the repercussions of Kristen’s actions last year were felt for real by another couple: Liberty Ross filed for divorce from Rupert Sanders a few days ago, unable to overcome his affair with the actress. Before you get too excited over the impending Rob and Kristen nuptials, however, consider the source – and the many other times OK! has claimed these two were either expecting or walking down the aisle…

Natalie Portman Gives Biggest Bang Per Buck

Last Spring, Forbes named Kristen Stewart Hollywood’s highest paid star, but the title of “most bankable star” is another matter altogether. Natalie Portman gives the best cash return, according to those denizens of wealth at Forbes, beating out the likes of Stewart, Robert Pattinson , Shia LaBeouf and Daniel Radcliffe . [ Related: Kristen Stewart Tops Forbes List of Highest Paid Actresses ] Portman’s films Black Swan , No Strings Attached and Your Highness were included in the formula that put the Oscar-winning actress over the top. Your Highness was, in fact, a flop, taking in only $25 million on an estimated $50 million budget, but that blemish did not derail her reign atop the list. Forbes also did not count Thor because Portman was a supporting actor in the title. Forbes devised a calculation that includes an actors’ earnings, box office grosses and budget estimates that fixed the Black Swan star’s returns at $42.70 for every dollar she is paid. Noted Forbes: We looked at the last three films each actor starred in over the last three years that opened in more than 2,000 theaters, calculating the return on investment for the studios who pay his (or her) salary. We didn’t count movies where the actor was in a supporting or large ensemble role and we didn’t count animated movies. The actors who score well on this list tend to have small paydays and star in highly profitable movies. Kristen Stewart ranked as Hollywood’s highest paid actress by Forbes last June and yet, she nevertheless placed second on the return list. Not bad considering she’s been paid $25 million for each of the last Twilight pics, but the overall franchise has brought in $3.3 billion. Co-stars Robert Pattinson placed fourth while Taylor Lautner placed sixth on the list, but Stewart came out on top with her role in Snow White and the Huntsman , which grossed $400 million from an estimated $170 million budget. Pattinson’s Water for Elephants grossed $118 million worldwide from an estimated $38 million budget. The one oddity in the calculations was that Pattinson’s specialty releases, Bel Ami and Cosmopolis were not factored in because Forbes said neither reached “enough theaters” to count for the list. Also, Stewart’s On the Road was not factored though that film opened last weekend. Shia LaBeouf, who topped the list in 2009 and 2010, ranked third this year. 1. Natalie Portman : $42.70 for every dollar paid 2. Kristen Stewart : $40.60 for every dollar paid 3. Shia LaBeouf : $35.80 for every dollar paid 4. Robert Pattinson : $31.70 for every dollar paid 5. Daniel Radcliffe : $30.50 for every dollar paid [Sources: Forbes , via Huffington Post ]

‘Deus Ex’-cellent − 5 Reasons To Be Thankful ‘Human Revolution’ Is Coming To The Big Screen

CBS Films’ announcement that it had hired Sinister director Scott Derrickson to direct a feature adaptation of the  Deus Ex: Human Revolution   video game is exciting news. Human Revolution  was one of the greatest games of 2011. It’s a supreme science-fiction thriller and ideal movie fodder that features a highly adaptable cybernetically augmented protagonist named Adam Jensen who may be the ultimate action hero. But this is much more than a movie announcement. It could be the dawn of a new age in video-game movies. Yes, this will be CBS Films first attempt at  a video-game movie and Derrickson’s previous sci-fi/horror credits are the much-maligned 2008 remake of  The Day The Earth Stood Still  and Hellraiser: Inferno, the first film in that franchise to go straight to video. But, hey, even though I’m Irish and don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, I do prefer to look at the bright side.  So here are five reasons to be thankful Human Revolution  is being adapted for the big screen. 1. Amazing Settings The dystopian world of Human Revolution  makes Blade Runner look like Disneyland:  A dying Detroit shot through with the shining towers of the cybernetics industry (a perfect metaphor for cyborg augmentation itself); the incredible twin-level city of Hengsha, the world-altering Arctic environmental station of Panchaea. Each location could support a movie (and three concept art books). 2. The Tension of Transhumanity The central theme and conflict of Deus Ex: Human Revolution is Adam Jensen’s ambivalence about his augmentation. His most famous line is “I didn’t ask for this,” when waking up every morning to face the mirror he broke in horror at his own appearance. But hey, since there’s no turning back, he makes the most of his technological gifts, becoming a super-cyborg assassin who exacts revenge against the murderous evildoers who altered his body and kidnapped his girlfriend.  (The most exciting parts of the game are unlocking and choosing new implanted abilities.) And frankly, it’s hard to empathize with Jensen’s nano-angst since his flesh has been replaced with bulletproof skin and the ability to pose so hard it kills all enemies in a ten meter radius. It’s called the Typhoon defense system, and it’s the most lethal Tim Tebow touchdown celebration in history. 3.  A Well-Developed Story For a long time games didn’t have plots, they had excuses for mass-murder. Even when there was a narrative beyond “Press X to fire” it was written in fairly broad strokes, because that’s the only kind of stroke you can make with tanks and flamethrowers. This is why a lot of video-game movies haven’t worked. The writers didn’t know how to turn their sparse plot lines into features. But Deus Ex: Human Revolution  features a fully realized world.  In addition to the primary plot, which has enough twists and turns to easily propel a tentpole picture, there are a number of fully fleshed backstories to be found in the dozens of optional e-mails and hidden reports that players can discover over the course of the game. Never mind the global intrigue and the murderous cybernetics company — at one point in the game you can uncover the petty machinations of your bigoted cyborg-hating apartment manager.

‘Thor’ Deleted Ending: Jane Sent Thor A Beacon Of Love

You’ve probably been wondering just how Thor (Chris Hemsworth) made his way back to Earth in The Avengers after being separated from his lady scientist girlfriend Jane Foster ( Natalie Portman ) at the end of 2011’s Thor . A newly released deleted scene from the ending to Thor reveals that Jane was at least trying to re-establish connection, sending a beacon skyward to help her man find his way back to her. ( And once he finds his way back, what, not even a phone call? Ugh, men. ) The deleted scene debut from Marvel teases the April 2, 2013 release of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe Box Set – “Phase One” which includes Blu-rays of Iron Man , Iron Man 2 , and The Incredible Hulk as well as 3-D Blu-rays of The Avengers , Captain America: The First Avenger , and Thor . Meanwhile, Portman’s running around the set of sequel Thor: The Dark World with mystery gadgets and Wellies, so we’ll see Thor and Jane reunite soon enough. [ Marvel ]

Kendra Wilkinson Slams Kelsey Grammer as "Disgusting"

Kendra Wilkinson does not approve of Kelsey Grammer’s parenting choices. The former centerfold was asked about the sitcom star last night outside Lure nightclub in Hollywood, following Grammer’s appearance at a Halloween party this fall during which he brought his infant daughter to The Playboy Mansion . Wilkinson told TMZ she actually confronted Kesley at the shindig, adding that she was “disgusted” by the incident and: “He KNOWS how I feel, trust me… I gave him that eye and I left because of that.” Wilkinson, of course, has a young son of her own. Grammer, meanwhile, said he brought his kid to the affair because he didn’t have a babysitter . Totally normal, right? It’s not like he simply couldn’t have attended.

One Direction Fans Threaten to Murder Taylor Swift over Harry Styles Relationship

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez are BFFs . And now they have something unfortunate in common. Gomez faced numerous death threats when her relationship with Justin Bieber first went public – and now Swift is undergoing the same disturbing treatment. Taylor was spotted getting cozy with Harry Styles backstage at The X Factor on Thursday. Are they an item? It’s possible. Is hand-holding a valid excuse for threatening the life of a stranger? We don’t believe so, but a few One Direction fans have taken to Twitter and posted such unsettling messages as: “I’ll murder Taylor Swift. She will not date my Harry.” “If u dating my harry, I kill u.” We’re guessing/hoping these are empty threats, but come on people. Access to a keyboard does not give you an excuse to sound like a psychopath.
