Eminem, Alicia Keys, Usher Join BET Awards Lineup

A Michael Jackson tribute is also confirmed for the awards show, airing live June 27. By Mawuse Ziegbe Eminem Photo: Kevin Mazur/ WireImage Eminem , Usher , Alicia Keys and T-Pain have been added to the performance lineup of the BET Awards ’10 , going down on June 27 in Los Angeles. The hitmakers will join a star-studded bill that includes previously announced performers Kanye West, Drake, T.I., Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and Ludacris. A BET rep also confirmed that a Michael Jackson tribute is slated for this year’s show, hosted by rapper/actor Queen Latifah. The 2009 event became an impromptu MJ homage after the icon died just days before the awards show aired. Host Jamie Foxx memorably Moonwalked and spoofed Jackson’s “Beat It,” and stars like Ne-Yo, Ciara and Keri Hilson paid homage to the icon during their performances. Rolling Stone reported on Thursday (June 17) that BET insiders confirmed viewers can expect a performance of the monster collaboration “All I Do Is Win,” featuring DJ Khaled, T-Pain, Ludacris and Rick Ross. The magazine also teased that the “All I Do Is Win” collabo is set to feature a special guest. Jay-Z leads this year’s BET Awards nominations with five nods, including Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and Video of the Year for both “Empire State of Mind” and “Run this Town” off his hit The Blueprint 3. Obama To Earn Nearly $85 Million From Gulf Oil Disaster

Upon Obama’s taking office he staffed his administration with what is called a “Wall Street Cabinet”, including former employees of Goldman Sachs who Rolling Stone Magazine in their devastating article “The Great Bubble Machine” on this banking behemoth warned, “From tech stocks to high gas prices, Goldman Sachs has engineered every major market manipulation since the Great Depression — and they're about to do it again.” And when Rolling Stone Magazine warned that Goldman Sachs was about “to do it again” they probably didn’t even know how apocalyptic this banking giant’s machinations towards the United States really are, and as evident by the BP disaster in the Gulf when just three weeks prior to the Deepwater Horizon explosion they sold nearly half their shares of BP stocks saving for their investors billions of dollars of potential losses. Goldman Sachs wasn’t alone either in its astute “foreknowledge” of the collapse of BP’s stock value due to the Gulf disaster as BP’s own chief executive, Tony Hayward, sold about one-third of his shares weeks before this catastrophe began unfolding too. But according to this FSB report the largest seller of BP stock in the weeks before this disaster occurred was the American investment company known as Vanguard who through two of their financial arms (Vanguard Windsor II Investor and Vanguard Windsor Investor) unloaded over 1.5 million shares of BP stock saving their investors hundreds of millions of dollars, chief among them President Obama. For though little known by the American people, their President Obama holds all of his wealth in just two Vanguard funds, Vanguard 500 Index Fund where he has 3 accounts and the Vanguard FTSE Social Index Fund where he holds another 3 accounts, all six of which the FSB estimates will earn Obama nearly $8.5 million a year and which over 10 years will equal the staggering sum of $85 million. The FSB further estimates in this report that through Obama’s 3 accounts in the Vanguard 500 Index Fund he stands to make another $100 million over the next 10 years as their largest stock holding is in the energy giant Exxon Mobil they believe will eventually acquire BP and all of their assets for what will be essentially a “rock bottom” price and which very predictably BP has hired Goldman Sachs to advise them on. Important to note is that none of this wealth Obama, Goldman Sachs, and other American elites is acquiring would be possible without this disaster, all of whom, as the evidence shows, “somehow” knew what was going to happen before it actually did, including the US energy giant Halliburton who 2 weeks prior to this disaster just happened to purchase the World’s largest oil disaster service company Boots & Coots. Unfortunately for the American people watching as these elites destroy their country is that they are being told none of the truth, especially about Obama, who while becoming enormously wealthy off the hardship, misery and toil of his citizens has become the only US President in history to begin jailing every government whistleblower he can find, has won the right to jail anybody he wants without charges and hold them forever, and most incredibly has claimed the right to assassinate any American citizen he deems a threat. The great American Founding Father, and the United States first President, George Washington once said, “Experience teaches us that it is much easier to prevent an enemy from posting themselves than it is to dislodge them after they have got possession.” The American people to their great shame didn’t heed these words, now they are paying for it. http://beforeitsnews.com/story/79/527/Obama_To_Earn_Nearly_85_Million_From_Gulf_… added by: TomTucker

Rolling Stone’s Tim Dickinson on the Inside Story of How Obama Let the World’s Most Dangerous Oil Company Get Away with Murder

An extensive new investigation into the Obama administration’s handling of the BP oil spill disaster reveals that it was government mismanagement, delays and absence of oversight that allowed the crisis to spiral out of control. In the article “The Spill, the Scandal, and the President,” Rolling Stone’s Tim Dickinson writes, “Though George W. Bush paved the way for the catastrophe, it was Obama who gave BP the green light to drill.” Dickinson explores how Interior Secretary Ken Salazar kept in place the oil industry-friendly environmental guidelines that Bush had implemented and ultimately let BP, an oil company with the worst safety record, to get away with murder. Jay-Z Says He Plans To Age Gracefully In The Rap Game

At the ripe age of 40, Hov tells Rolling Stone he enjoys the challenge of competing with younger artists. By Jayson Rodriguez Jay-Z on the cover of “Rolling Stone” Photo: Wenner Media Is Jay-Z taking a page out of Diddy’s playbook? The Bad Boy Records mogul has long told fans and detractors alike that he wouldn’t stop. Now, is seems like the legendary Brooklyn wordsmith is also keen on keeping his run going as long as he can. After threatening to retire several times, Jay recently told Rolling Stone that he’s bent on aging gracefully as a rapper while still maintaining his spot on top of the rankings. The problem other rappers have had as they get older, Jay told the magazine, is that they haven’t adjusted to younger audiences in a believable way. “One of the reasons I wanted to make Blueprint 3 was because of the challenge,” Jay told the magazine in a cover story out this week. “We’ve seen people like LL [Cool J] have longevity, and we respect the heritage of what he’s done, but it’s not like, right now, he’s competing on the same level as Lil Wayne. So for me to still be able to compete at that level at my age, that’s rarefied air. It’s never been done. I think the problem with people, as they start to mature, they say, ‘Rap is a young man’s game,’ and they keep trying to make young songs. But you don’t know the slang — it changes every day. You can visit the topic, but these young kids live it every day, and you’re just visiting. So you’re trying to be something you’re not, and the audience doesn’t buy into that. And people wonder why. ‘I made a great Southern bounce song!’ You’re from New York, and you’re 70! Why are you bouncing?” After scoring 11 #1 albums, the rapper admitted that he’s only told about 10 stories in his career. He’s been retelling the same narratives with varying details and elements. But on his next project, Jay-Z told MTV News last year, he plans to experiment more and revealed the collection may veer off so much it won’t debut at the top of the charts. In the interview, Hov also talked about how he and Beyonc

Avenged Sevenfold Drummer Jimmy Sullivan Died Of Accidental Overdose

The Rev died from combined effects of painkillers, anti-anxiety medication and alcohol. By Gil Kaufman Avenged Sevenfold’s The Rev Photo: Brian Ach/ WireImage Six months after the shocking death of Avenged Sevenfold drummer Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan , a coroner’s report has revealed that the 28-year-old died as a result of an accidental overdose of strong prescription painkillers and alcohol. According to Rolling Stone, Orange County Deputy Coroner Mitchell Sigal determined from toxicology tests that Sullivan’s December 28 death was a result of “acute polydrug intoxication due to combined effects of oxycodone, oxymorphone, diazepam/nordiazepam and ethanol.” Those drugs include a pair of painkillers that work, respectively, like codeine and morphine, an anti-anxiety medication and the active intoxicant in alcohol. Sigal also noted that Sullivan also had an enlarged heart, which was noted in the coroner’s report as a “significant condition” that may have contributed to his death. “To all of us who loved Jimmy, the only thing relevant about December 28 is that is the night we lost, too soon, a son, brother, friend and one of the most talented artists in the world,” Avenged Sevenfold manager Larry Jacobson told the magazine. “Every day, his parents and sisters, and his brothers in Avenged Sevenfold smile at the many memories they have of Jimmy, and his fans around the world revel in the musical legacy he left them.” Sullivan died in his Huntington Beach, California, home and was buried in a private ceremony on January 6. He played on four of the metalcore band’s albums and was co-writing tunes on the upcoming disc, Nightmare (due out July 27), at the time of his death. The group hired one of Sullivan’s favorite drummers, Dream Theater’s Mike Portnoy, to finish up Nightmare and to join them for their upcoming dates on the Rockstar Energy Uproar tour.
