The network itself is yet to confirm the switch, but sources tell TMZ that Aguilera will be too far along in her pregnancy (8-9 months) by the time the Season 7 Battle Rounds begin to effectively participate. L’Wren Scott Dead Of Apparent Suicide, Found Hanging According to NY Daily News reports : Celebrated fashion designer and girlfriend to Mick Jagger was found hanged to death in an apparent suicide in her Manhattan apartment Monday, police sources said. The body of L’Wren Scott, 47, was found hanging from a scarf on a doorknob by her assistant at 200 11th Ave. around 10 a.m., sources said. Scott texted her assistant at 8:30 a.m. and asked that she come over, police sources said. When she arrived, she found the body and called 911. Police did not suspect foul play, a source said, but the Medical Examiner’s Office will determine a cause of death. No suicide note was found. Jagger said via a spokesperson that he is “completely shocked and devastated by the news” of her death, according to the BBC . The former model met the Rolling Stones singer in 2001. Scott began her career as a model in Paris shortly after graduating high school in her home state of Utah. She went on to pose for notable brands such as Thierry Mugler and Chanel, before moving to California in the early ‘90s and establishing herself as a sought-after stylist. Scott also launched her fashion brand in 2006. Sarah Jessica Parker, Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman have all worn her gowns to the Academy Awards, while other high-profile names such as Reese Witherspoon, Christina Hendricks, Sandra Bullock and even First Lady Michelle Obama have been seen wearing her designs. According to Hollywood Reporter: Two weeks after Drake slammed Rolling Stone for swapping out his planned cover story for a Philip Seymour Hoffman memoriam, the rapper and PR firm ID-PR have parted ways, Billboard has confirmed. Drake had been working with ID for the past year to handle publicity for third album Nothing Was the Same, as well as his current Would You Like a Tour?, which wraps March 26 with three dates at London’s O2 Arena. According to a source, ID initiated the split soon after the Rolling Stone debacle. The magazine feature, which ID helped arrange, prompted a series of tweets that have since been deleted in which Drake clarified his comments regarding Kanye West’s Yeezus, saying that they were shared off-the-record, and that he was “disgusted” that the magazine ran with the Hoffman cover instead of his. “I’m disgusted with that. RIP to Phillip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil.” In the only tweet that’s still active, Drake added, “I’m done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That’s the only way my message gets across accurately.” On Feb. 14, the five-year anniversary of the day his So Far Gone EP debuted online, Drake issued a more detailed account of his thoughts on the cover to his official OVO blog. “Today I was forced out of my character and felt the need to react swiftly,” he wrote. “These days are the worst ones. Jill is gunning for that Oscar. Jill Scott To Star In James Brown Biopic We all know Jill can sang and we’re sure she can act circles around singers who try to act, so this should be a good movie. According to Rolling Out: Get On Up, the upcoming biopic about legendary soul singer James Brown, has added two more notables to the cast. Dan Aykroyd and Jill Scott have joined the production; Aykroyd will play Ben Bart, president of the agency that represented Brown for almost 50 years and Scott will play one of the Godfather of Soul’s wives. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the role was written specifically for the singer-actress. Brown himself will be played by Chadwick Boseman, star of 42. The film begins shooting this month and follows Brown’s life from childhood through his influential, and often-turbulent, career. Legendary Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is co-producing the project. The film had been in limbo for more than 15 years, but the project has been fast-tracked since producers finally secured the rights to Brown’s musical catalog. During the long road to getting this film made, superstar Eddie Murphy, director Spike Lee and numerous others had been attached to the movie. Brown himself was assisting with getting the film made before his death in December 2006. Viola Davis, Oscar winner Octavia Spencer and “Walking Dead’s” Lennie James are also featured in the film. Tate Taylor will be directing. Taylor directed The Help previously. Co-producer Brian Grazer told Rolling Stone, “I like to make movies about mastery and genius, and it’s hard to find great subjects.
