David Letterman (jokingly, mostly, maybe, sort of) predicted that Mitt Romney will lose this year’s presidential election due to his snub of The Late Show. Last week, Dave urged voters to vote against Mitt unless he came on the program. With Romney still reluctant to do so, Letterman now predicts his defeat. A photo of a little girl gasping at Mitt Romney is making the rounds online and has resulted in an apology for the AP for not using its caption to put it in context. The AP’s original caption said that he was posing for pictures with schoolchildren, which was true, but the wire service later updated its caption with more detail. The Virginia girl was reacting to Romney’s decision to kneel down and pose for a picture with her and her classmates, having just learned he was doing so. On Wednesday, AP executive editor Kathleen Carroll issued a statement: “The original caption on the photo of Gov. Romney taken Monday at a Virginia school was literally correct – it said the governor was posing for photos with schoolchildren.” “But it was too generic and missed the boat by not explaining exactly what was happening.” “The student with the surprised expression had just realized that the governor was going to crouch down in front of her for the group photo.” Unflattering photos do happen (see 2009 classic below), but they also don’t get published by accident, and the AP is deservedly taking heat for the Romney debacle.

What would he do if he was on BET? Mitt Romney appeared on Univision Wednesday, but something was a little different about his appearance, his skin tone. Looking back at some of photos logging his every moment on the campaign trail, the Republican presidential nominee is usually not so shockingly tan. While his orangey-brown appearance on Univision could have been the result of bad lighting or a makeup mishap, left-wing blog the Democratic Underground concluded that Romney “dyed his face brown for his Univision interview.” The claim is not completely out of the ballpark. After all, as Gawker points out, Romney did say “it would be helpful to be Latino,” in a video secretly recorded at a campaign fundraiser earlier this year. Appearing at a campaign fundraiser in Atlanta, Georgia, before his Univision interview, Romney showed a bit more color, but nowhere near the amount of bronze as seen on stage at the 6:30 p.m. ET filming. If Romney did indeed alter his skin tone, it was likely done in the past few days. Three days earlier, on Sunday, Sept. 16, Romney appeared much paler when he landed in Missouri. We’re just happy this fool didn’t wear blackface for the NAACP speech. By our estimate Romney looks “47%” more tanner and we’re not digging the convenient skin change. There is poetic justice in this world… Former president Jimmy Carter’s grandson helped leak video of Mitt Romney at a private fundraiser to Mother Jones Magazine and has set of a fire storm for the Presidential hopeful: James Carter IV helped connect Mother Jones reporter David Corn with video of Romney at a fundraiser saying, among other things, that it is not his “job” to win over the 47 percent of voters committed to President Obama, because they are “dependent on government” and he will “never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.” “Any time that you can find a clip that strengthens the narrative already established, that’s what becomes a big deal,” Carter told Daily Intel. “I’ve been trying to get paid for this but it hasn’t worked out yet. This might help.” Carter told NBC News that after he sent the Mother Jones article to his grandfather, the former president responded warmly, writing: “James: This is extraordinary. Congratulations! Papa.” Carter also told NBC that Romney’s criticism of his grandfather bothered him, providing extra motivation to release the videos. “It gets under my skin — mostly the weakness on the foreign policy stuff,” Carter said. “I just think it’s ridiculous. I don’t like criticism of my family.” After years of Carter bashing at the hands of Mitt Romney, the grandson finally takes his revenge. Woman Has Sex With Boyfriend’s Teenage Brother While He’s Imprisoned Here’s another case of an ain’t isht lady having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a minor. In this instance, the minor just so happens to be the teenage brother of this woman’s boyfriend! Via Huffington Post: Text messages and incriminating online chats show that a 30-year-old woman had a longterm sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy, cops said. Tanner Vicory is accused of having sex on at least ten occasions with the teen brother of her boyfriend, according to the Arizona Republic. Her boyfriend was in prison at the time. The teen’s mother became suspicious when she found a text message on her son’s phone from Vicory saying that she loved him. Damn, she couldn’t find anyone her own age to chop down????? Photo: Fox 10
Money Mitt isn’t backing down. He also isn’t shook up at all about the shady azz statements he made during a private fundraiser he held earlier this year. We showed you the vid of this dirty politico talking candidly about the “47%” and today, Robney had an opportunity to save face…but of course he effed that up too! According to The Huffington Post: In an interview with Fox News’s Neil Cavuto on Tuesday, Mitt Romney continued to stand by his statements in the secretly recorded donor video. “We were of course talking about a campaign and about how he’s going to get half the vote,” Romney said. “And frankly we have two very different views of America.” “Those that are dependent on government and those that think government’s job is to redistribute — I’m not going to get them,” he said later. While Romney allowed that some of the people who don’t pay income taxes may be his supporters — senior citizens or members of the military, for instance — he argued that his message about “the 47 percent” would resonate. “I do believe we should have enough jobs and enough take-home pay to allow people to pay taxes,” Romney said. “I think people would like to be paying taxes.” His camp countered today after the viedo hit the internet… “Mitt Romney wants to help all Americans struggling in the Obama economy. As the governor has made clear all year, he is concerned about the growing number of people who are dependent on the federal government, including the record number of people who are on food stamps, nearly one in six Americans in poverty, and the 23 million Americans who are struggling to find work,” Romney spokeswoman Gail Gitcho said in a statement responding to the video’s release. “Mitt Romney’s plan creates 12 million new jobs in four years, grows the economy and moves Americans off of government dependency and into jobs.” Is it just us or does it seem like Robney doesn’t want to be the future POTUS???
