Chris Brown And Rihanna Both Appear At Separate Events In Atlanta R&B crooner Chris Brown and his ex-Bajan boo thang Rihanna both took their talents to Atlanta over the weekend for separate events and more than a few of their fans held out hope that they might reunite….but it turns out they kept their distance. Rihanna held a meet and greet at Lenox Mall in ATL on Saturday to celebrate the launch of her first male fragrance Rogue Man, while Chris Brown hosted a party at Compound Nightclub roughly 10 minutes away later on that night. While one fan reportedly claimed to have seen Breezy’s OHB homie Red lurking around Rih’s event, not much else has surfaced to suggest that they were anywhere within arms length of each other at any point. Add that to the fact that Chris Brown has now deleted this flyer (above) for the event from his Instagram page (likely after noticing that he and Rih in the same state was causing a fuss)….and all signs point to no interaction between them at all despite them being in close quarters. Publicly Criticized Radio Host Over Rumor About His Cancelled Show ATL Rapper T.I. recently had a few choice words fo r a Washington, D.C. radio host who entertained a story from a fan about why his recent show in the Chocolate City was cancelled. The story, as told by WKYS radio host Brittany Waters of “Tonight’s Tea With Britt” , goes as follows: During my show, #ItsBrittShow on 93.9 WKYS in DC. I have a segment called Tonight’s Tea With Britt where I let my listners call in and tell me about their night. I had a caller tell me she attended T.I.’s show at The Howard Theatre and she saw one of his hypemen on stage have a seizure which canceled the performance. Brittany later took to her Instagram page with a brief blurb about the fan’s story…. ….and she received this surprising…and public…response from the Troubleman himself once he got wind of it all: Sheesh! SNL Rep Claims Kenan Thompson Is Not Leaving The Show Via HuffingtonPost A “Saturday Night Live” spokesperson has called a TMZ report that claims Kenan Thompson will leave “SNL” following the show’s 40th season “inaccurate.” According to the rep, “the season hasn’t even started and cast decisions aren’t made until the end of the season.” Earlier on Monday, TMZ wrote that Thompson was set to leave the show before next season, Season 41, to focus on other projects. (Per TMZ, Thompson was going to leave after Season 39, but Lorne Michaels, the show’s executive producer, convinced him to stay for Season 40.) Thompson has been a cast member on “SNL” since 2003, and broke the record for longest serving black cast member. Of the current cast, he’s been on the show the longest. When asked during an interview with EW last year if he would ever leave the show, Thompson joked, “I’m never leaving.” “Saturday Night Live” returns this weekend with host Chris Pratt and musical guest Ariana Grande. Hm…the sourcing on this info seems sketchy at best. But if someone told you last year this time that Beyonce was quietly working on a top-secret surprise album featuring multiple songs solely about smashing Jay Z…would you have taken THAT info at face value???
