Donald Trump is scheduled to have lunch with Kanye West today (Oct. 11), and many critics of the move dismiss it as a blatant photo op for a President who really doesn’t care what his guest will have to say. Well actually, the Russian approved POTUS did say meeting with Yeezy will help him score African-American male votes.  Yeah, he said it. La Naranja called into Fox & Friends last night, and since we couldn’t be bothered to listen to the sure to be fact checked lies, we’ll let TMZ report: Trump was on “Fox & Friends” Thursday AM and gushed about his African-American poll numbers, especially with guys, after Kanye doubled down on his support for the Prez. He repeated his claim that his poll numbers with African-American men soared when Kanye told the world — MAGA. The President marveled at the power of Kanye West. It’s pretty ironic … the 2 celebs who have really stood out in terms of trying to influence voters in various ways are Kanye and Taylor Swift. They’re on opposite sides of the spectrum, but they both appear impactful. Here’s the thing. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out … a lunch with Kanye when the critical midterm elections are just a few weeks away may be more important to Trump than prison reform. That doesn’t mean Kanye has no shot at getting in his ear about prison reform and other issues, but get real … the main course of this lunch is the midterms. Also worth noting, that polling bump Trump refers to was barely negligible  when taken in proper context. Although there are way too many shuffle foot Black men (and women) rocking with Trump for our tastes, the majority of the demo ain’t falling for the racist and sexist antics of the con man squatting in the White House. The insider went on to confirm that Bey and Jay feel the same about this situation as the rest of us: “They think Kanye is a disgrace and is only doing this for attention,” the source says. “Beyonce and Jay Z know that Kanye is seeing a future in politics, but they feel that they cannot associate themselves with them from this point forward. Since then rappers like Fat Joe and Snoop Dogg have been outright critical of Donald Trump’s presidency and now J. Cole has added himself to the growing list of entertainers using their platform to call out the Russian patsy. In an interview with Billboard  the “1985” rapper admits that though he didn’t vote in 2016 he’s ultimately glad that Trump found himself running things from the Oval Office. Let him explain. “With Trump in office, I love that America gets to see the truth. If Hillary Clinton was in office, it would be the most fucking disingenuous shit because everybody would be thinking that everything’s cool because we got an incredibly qualified female president. Which would’ve been amazing on so many levels. But all the shit we see right now would’ve still existed; it would’ve just been quiet. And I prefer this shit to be out loud. I prefer an honest America. I prefer the world seeing that, yes, we’re a country that is dumb enough — no disrespect — [that] we got duped into electing Donald Trump.” As terrible a time as we’re living through right now, he’s not wrong. Not only does the world get to see what minorities have been saying about America for decades, they also get to feel the long racist arm of Amerikkka branch out and effect lives in their respective “sh*thole” countries. And like a lot of young democrats, J. Cole was a fan of Bernie Sanders but after Hillary got the ticket to the big race he fell back from going to vote because “Hillary Clinton wasn’t somebody that was motivating me to go vote. If it was Bernie Sanders, I would’ve showed up and voted. I would’ve been the first one in line, no bullshit. No disrespect to Hillary.” But politics wasn’t the only subject that Cole speak on. He went on to talk about a long conversation he had with the late XXXTENTACION before his passing and even touched on the abuse allegations that Kelis threw at Nas saying,  “Yeah, that hurt. I ain’t going to lie. That hurts. [Pauses.] It feels weird because I fuck with Nas, but I just have to be honest. I came up seeing too much fucked-up shit for that to be acceptable. I don’t care who it is. I am not American…but I will say that you’re all fucking nuts… To burn a pair of your shoes in protest of them using Colin Kaepernick in one of their ads… So he’s a guy who lost his job over his political stance…kneeling during the anthem, for whatever fucking reason, I thought it was a free country, if you want to kneel or protest, who gives a fuck, but apparently the country as a whole gave a fuck…and now NIKE using him in their ad, that got them more press than anything, taking a stance to stand by his right to stand up for his right to freedom of speech…is making people burn their shoes… I see this shit all day, and now NIKE is the enemy to people, when they should have been the enemy all along, huge polluters, sweat shops, making too many people really stupid rich at the expense of everyone paying 150 dollars for a pair of shoes that before NIKE cost 15 dollars….. But seeing people burning their shoes….like get a grip people…how can you be that passionate about something that doesn’t fucking matter. It’s a fucking ad….to advertise product…it’s COMMERCIAL…ike lighten the fuck up….
