Epitome Of A Bad Mother: California Mother Microwaves Her Newborn To Death

Just what in thee hell was on this woman’s mind, torturing her newborn baby like that?! A California mom was arrested Tuesday on charges that she murdered her 6-week-old daughter by microwaving her to death. Ka Yang, 29, of Sacramento, is being held without bail The baby, Mirabelle Thao-Lo, was found dead in her home with “extensive thermal injuries” on March 17. “She had some really deep tissue burns,” Sacramento County coroner’s office told the Sacramento Bee. “…It was probably the worst case I’ve ever seen.” Yang initially claimed her daughter’s death was caused by a seizure. The arrest took three months because investigators had to pinpoint what they believed was the cause of death by looking at similar cases, including ones in Ohio, Texas and Virginia. Yang’s three young boys, who are all under the age of 7, have since been removed from the home by child welfare workers. Officer Laura Peck said Yang’s motive it unknown. No lawyer was listed for the mom. “We wouldn’t assess her mental condition,” said Peck. “That will be up to the court system. The bottom line is no one knows what happened in that house but her and the little baby.” SMH. This is sick on so many levels … what mother could do this to her own child? She’s gonna get it in prison. R.I.P., Mirabelle.

Here is the original post:

Last year, parents of students in failing California public schools were given a reason to be hopeful when Sacramento politicians passed something called the “parent trigger” law. Jeanie Buss to Join Cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?

For years, Jeanie Buss has served as the daughter of Los Angele Lakers owner Jerry Buss and girlfriend of coach Phil Jackson. But might the executive be ready to leave the sidelines? TMZ reports that Buss has met with producers to discuss the possibility of joining the second season cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . It wouldn’t be the first NBA connection within this franchise: Current cast member Adrienne Maloof-Nassif’s family owns the Sacramento Kings, and Larsa Pippen will be seen this month on The Real Housewives of Miami . Sources say Jennifer Flavin Stallone and Brandi Glanville have both been approached about joining the series. These women would take the place of Kim Richards and/or Camille Grammer if either or both of those women don’t return.

Cry Me A River: Arnold Says Being The Governator Hurt His Pockets

Now that he’s no longer governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed just how much he loved his job. According to TMZ , holding that job for 8 years seriously hurt Arnold’s pockets. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s time as the governor of California didn’t just leave the state in financial turmoil — it cost Arnie a huge chunk of change too! The Austrian Formerly Known as Governator told a newspaper in his homeland that his stint in Sacramento cost him nearly $200 million as a result of lost revenue from movies and endorsements. Stop Signs Turned Into Giant Flowers!

Photo: Mark Jenkins And Now For Something on the Lighter Side… The urban landscape can be depressing… But that’s what guerilla artists are for! Our cities, where most of humanity now lives, should be vibrant and alive and colorful, not drab successions of near-identical streets. There should be limits to what can be done (safety, destruction of property), but some spaces should be left open to artistic expression if cities are to be more livable. Authorities should actually encourage it, like Toronto’s
