Kaley Cuoco Under Fire for Pro-Dish Hopper Tweet

She may put the bang in The Big Bang Theory , but Kaley Cuoco put the burn to her bosses at CBS last night. Here’s why: CBS, ABC, Fox and NBC are locked in a legal battle with Dish over that company’s Hopper, whose “Auto Hop” feature allows one to view recorded shows without commercials. Not just fast-forwarding commercials, mind you. But skipping over them entirely. But Cuoco Tweeted a paid endorsement for Dish on Wednesday, including with it a link to an ad that features friends watching TV on a small small and drinking small beers. “Amazing! Watching live TV anywhere on the #Hopper looks pretty awesome! Now where can I find a tiny beer? #ad” Cuoco wrote to her than 1.2 million-plus followers. The Tweet was later removed. No word yet from Cuoco’s team or anyone at CBS and Warner Bros. TV. The actress, however, has been all over our small screens lately. She appeared in a Toyota Super Bowl ad and has joined William Shatner for a series of Priceline commercials. She’s really hot.

Lindsay Lohan Plea Bargain: REJECTED By Moron!

This girl is either crazy like a fox or just full-on crazy at this point. Lindsay Lohan has rejected a plea deal that would have kept her out of jail in her lying-to-cops case, opting to take her chances at trial. Why, you ask? Because she’s totes innocent and doesn’t have a problem, OBVI! Her lawyer, Mark Heller, has been trying to pull a rabbit out of his hat this week, and was close to a deal with Santa Monica and L.A. City prosecutors. They insisted that the actress accept a significant amount of time in a residential rehab facility – and NO JAIL TIME – but Heller still wasn’t having it. Prosecutors even bent a little and offered somewhere around 30 days rather than the 60 they initially wanted her to be in rehab, still Heller didn’t accept. The deal fell through, however TMZ sources say ” negotiations are ongoing .” As expected, Lohan and Heller are reportedly not on the same place here. He’s willing to accept a deal that involves counseling and rehab, even BS’ing that she would undergo extensive psychotherapy and set up a youth foundation. To Lindsay, though, this is all just “punishment for something I didn’t do.” Always in denial, never taking responsibility. Not that we’re surprised, but Heller said earlier this week that she had finally seen the error of her ways. Guess that’s what happens when you try to speak for Lindsay Lohan . In the end, prosecutors aren’t worried if they can’t strike a plea bargain, because they like their chances if it comes down to trial, beginning March 18. Lohan is charged with lying to police regarding her June car crash, and for violating her probation as a result. Both aspects could land her in a jail cell. Take the plea deal and go to rehab, girl. For your own legal sake as well as your life expectancy and that of anyone who happens to live near you.

You know white people…get money don’t spend it… Lindsay Lohan Has Owed Lawyer Shawn Holley Over $300,000 For Over A Year Via RadarOnline Lindsay Lohan owes her recently fired, long standing criminal defense attorney, Shawn Holley, a whopping $300,000 plus in unpaid legal fees and hasn’t made a payment to the famed lawyer in more than half a year, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting. “Lindsay owes Shawn over $300k in legal fees and she hasn’t made any payments to her in over six months,” a source close to the situation tells Radar. “Lindsay hadn’t paid anything for any of the work Shawn has done on her three new criminal charges of lying to cops, in connection with her car accident in Santa Monica last summer. Shawn has kept Lindsay out of jail for over five years now and she has no idea how good she has had it. Shawn is extremely respected by judges and prosecutors and that has benefited Lindsay greatly. Lindsay’s new criminal attorney, Mark Heller, isn’t even based in Los Angeles and certainly doesn’t have the revered reputation that Shawn does.” As previously reported, Lohan is currently on probation for stealing a necklace from a Venice jewelry store. Meantime, she will be back in court on January 15 to be arraigned on her latest charges. Lohan is required to be in court for the arraignment, at which time she will be required to enter a plea. A date will also be set for a probation violation hearing, and if the troubled actress is found to be guilty, she could be sent to jail for up to six months. “I suspect that Lindsay’s new attorney is either representing her for a reduced fee, or not charging her at all,” the source says. “I think Mark wants the publicity that representing Lindsay Lohan can bring.” What an ungrateful lil beyotch Blohan is! Rihanna Fired as Face of Nivea

Rihanna has been nixed as the face of Nivea products. No specific reason or action was cited as the reason, but Stefan Heidenreich, the head of the brand, clearly isn’t a big fan of the controversial singer. Heidenreich publicly expressed disapproval with the skin care line’s decision to have the sexy star as its public face, saying “Rihanna is a no-go.” “I do not understand how to bring the core brand of Nivea in conjunction with Rihanna. Nivea stands for trust, family and reliability,” he added. Heidenreich told the singer’s ads shot last year – see one of our all-time favorite Rihanna pictures above – should have never been released. Ouch. Tell us how you really feel. For her part, Rihanna responded by posting a generic head shot of Heidenreich on her Twitter with the caption, “No caption necessary.” So, yeah. That about sums it up.

Usually we have no regrets about spending our lives doing things besides hang out on the Santa Monica pier. Sure, the weather’s always nice there, but we think it’s nicer having all the things like showers and wi-fi and air conditioning that come with living indoors. Until now. Apparently Kate Upton was recently booted from the popular SoCal beach bum hangout after a wardrobe malfunction left her breasts exposed to the crowd that had gathered to watch her GQ photo shoot. As Kate tells the San Francisco Chronicle : “We were on that ride where the seat spins while the actual ride is spinning, and I’m wearing a one-piece. And all of a sudden the whole entire top falls off!” Kate said. ” I’m holding myself, laughing, turning bright red, but a lot of people are watching, so they kicked us out of the Santa Monica pier – it was so embarrassing. You wouldn’t think that would happen with a one-piece! ” And you’re telling us that NOT ONE of those street performers and hackey sack players and bodybuilders and guys who will write your name on a grain of rice took pictures? Tragic. UPDATE: Pervert-at-large “Uncle” Terry Richardson DID take video of Kate’s bra-busting escapade (of course he did). Unfortunately, you still can’t see much, but you can see what Terry did catch after the jump!

Ashley Tisdale Books Surprising Sons of Anarchy Role

This is certainly one way to shed your wholesome image. Ashley Tisdale, the actress best known for her long-running role on High School Musical , will appear on at least two episodes of Sons of Anarchy Season 5 … as an escort! The gritty FX drama centers on a motorcycle gang in California and includes as much violence, sex, blood and gore as any show on television. Details on Tisdale’s exact role are not known at this time, but multiple outlets confirm she’ll somehow get involved with the core club, SAMCRO, and will somehow “complicate” the lives of its members. The same will probably be said for Tisdale’s loyal fans, who started following her when she was a teenager and are familiar with her voiceover work on the kids’ program Phineas and Ferb .
