If you're a fan of The Bachelor – and most especially if you're not – you will laugh your junk off at Saturday Night Live's hilarious take on the “reality” show. Entitled “Bland Man,” a jab at this season's (like most seasons) bachelor Ben Higgins' generic good looks and equally generic personality, the show's tagline sums it all up perfectly: “One very bland man, 25 long-haired women. Who will he choose to be his bride?” The sketch takes us through a series of one-on-ones with “Dan” (played by Taran Killam) and the would-be brides, each interrupting another's conversation in true Bachelor fashion with, “Can I steal him for a sec?” The ladies reference the outlandish “dates” they go on, such as “taking a hot air balloon with the cast of Chicago Fire” and “going to your old high school and watching you cry.” Cecily Strong mimics this year's Lace as The Crazy One, getting irate over nothing then apologizing with: “Sorry I got mad, that's not me. Well, it is me, but I'm doing a bad job hiding it.” There's even a shout out to Olivia's “fat toes” fiasco . Aidy Bryant's character emotionally confesses: “I have to be completely honest with you. I have one enormous toe. Like, it's so big, and I've been so self-conscious about it my entire life. I need you to see it.” She then produces a toe the size of Houston, causing Dan to scream out in horror. Possibly the best line came from Sasheer Zamata. After Dan asks her to tell him about herself, she responds with this gem: “Well, I'm the black one.” It's an obvious jab to the show's tradition of an all-white cast spiced up with one token minority to avoid public backlash. The reason this sketch is so funny is because it's not far off from what really happens on The Bachelor . Hand-picking 25 women based on their likelihood to cause drama, forcing them to live together then pitting them against one another in an array of contrived, sensationalized situations in order to “win” a groom is comedy in and of itself. Ailing NBA star Lamar Odom is reportedly making major strides in his recovery … literally. Late last week, he walked without assistance. The basketball star had not been able to move without the aid a walker since the day he overdosed in a Vegas brothel earlier this fall. Until Thursday, when Lamar ditched the walker and took three steps, shocking the doctors working with him on his physical therapy. Furthermore, he has a limited range of motion in his hands, but he was able to make a small, yet significant, stride in that area as well. During a recent visit from wife Khloe Kardashian, Odom reached above his head to put his hood on, which may not sound that impressive. It is, however, considering the state of the athlete’s brain function, which was perilous to say the least and still clouds his entire future. The situation has been so unsettling – or at least uncertain – that some reports have suggested we may never see him in public again . Ever. While that’s an extreme and likely unsubstantiated scenario, it underscores what a difficult road lies ahead for the 36-year-old. Fortunately, he was able to recognize a hospital staff member this week, another milestone since he couldn’t recognize family before. Whatever you think of the circumstances that put him there, these developments are welcome news to Lamar, Khloe and Liza Morales . As for what lies ahead, that remains anyone’s guess, but we’re happy to hear that there has been some progress on the medical front. Despite reports that Odom has nowhere to go after he leaves the hospital, TMZ reports that he will soon be moved to a rehab facility. View Slideshow: Lamar Odom: A Timeline of Tragedy

Lamar Odom Walks For First Time Since Overdose!
Remember when Taylor Swift told Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to go to Hell? We wonder what the singer will say now… The beloved actresses and real-life best friends hosted Saturday Night Live this weekend, taking a few moments in one sketch to mock Swift's Bad Blood music video . The sketch opens with Aidy Bryant doing an interview with the women and asking them about how they handle being working mothers. Fey and Poehler reply by saying they get by with help from their squads, which includes nannied, their shared gynecologist and a few very famous faces. Yup, that's Amy Schumer over there! And, look! There's a Gayle King sighting! The hosts even recreated the look of Taylor's famous movie-esque video (sort of) by including wigs, tight costumes, post-apocalyptic walks, fire and also a rap about the PTA and UTIs by Bryant. It was all rather amazing and definitely all in good fun. But will Swift react to it negatively? Or has she forgiven Fey and Poehler for the jokes they made at her expense in 2013 at the Golden Globe Awards? Watch the hilarious video now.

A horde of people protested NBC for its decision to have Donald Trump host Saturday Night Live. This is the same network, after all, who essentially fired the Presidential hopeful from The Apprentice after inflammatory comments he made about Mexicans. (Which preceded inflammatory comments he made about women…. and then Muslims …) Politics, sexism and racism aside, however, one crucial question remained heading into this weekend: Could Donald Trump actually be funny? He began his attempt via a monologue, one in which he continually mixed up Aidy Bryant for long-time nemesis Rosie O'Donnell. He was also flanked at one point by Taran Killam, who parodies him now on the sketch comedy series; and by Darrell Hammond, who portrayed him in the past on SNL. At one point, a heckler screamed “You’re a racist!” at Trump, only for the cameras to cut away backstage, where Larry Davis (who resurrected his amazing impression of Bernie Sanders on the episode) admitted he just made $5,000 for that accusation. So, how did Trump do overall? He didn't strike out during the monologue, but he didn't really try to hit a home run, either, which is a it surprising knowing the (awful) man. Check out the video below and sound off on Trump as Saturday Night Live host yourself. Did NBC make a mistake in bringing him on board? Is all controversy good controversy? Is it SNL's job to serve as Ethics Police? Or merely to aim for the highest-rated episodes it can? A debate over such issues would likely be more entertaining than this Donald Trump monlogue. Watch it and grade it now:

Soul Train Weekend 2015 is quickly approaching, and it is set to take place in Las Vegas from November 5-November 7th.
Let it be known that what follows is no April Fool’s joke. In fact, this is serious. Blockbuster mega-stars Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig are featuring in none other than – wait for it – a Lifetime movie. Though we aren’t sure how serious the tone of the movie will be, sources confirm the duo will star in the forthcoming Lifetime movie titled A Deadly Adoption. The film will be kicking off the 25th anniversary of Lifetime’s made-for-tv genre. There is chatter that the film could have both a serious and campy edge. Ferrell and Wiig star as a couple hoping to adopt a woman’s unborn baby (Jessica Lowndes of 90210 ). Of course, things go awry. And we are hoping it does so in true Ferrell and Wiig style when the film, slated for a summer premiere on Lifetime, arrives. Will Ferrell is apparently a fan of the made-for-TV genre and wants to celebrate it with his own film. He will serve as its executive producer along with Adam McKay. Not only does A Deadly Adoption mark the first time Ferrell or Wiig have starred in a Lifetime film, it also celebrates the reunion of Wiig, Ferrell, and McKay. The trio is best known for their work together on Anchorman 2 . Now, the elephant in the room is Melissa Gilbert. Certainly, she has to be jealous that she might lose her title as the made-for-TV queen to Will Ferrell … SNL 40: Fashion Hits and Misses 1.
