It seems that GQ magazine has recently voted Kate Upton their ‘ Body Of The Year ‘, they obviously haven’t seen the photoshop work I did of my vacation to Cuba, but whatever. For a woman who just won ‘ Body Of The Year ‘, they sure manage to hide it well in these shots. The pictures we saw of her in her bikini/nun costume yesterday sure didn’t look like the body of the year to me. A little too soft around the edges if you ask me. I’m guessing some editor wanted an excuse to take her out to dinner on the company expense account. Well played.

Prince William is kind of the man. Not only is he rich, famous, intelligent, married to a lovely young woman and the heir to the British throne, he’s an accomplished pilot in the UK’s armed forces – as evidenced during a daring rescue mission he took part in this morning. William helped save the lives of Russian seamen whose cargo vessel sank into the Irish Sea off the coast of North Wales early today, according to various reports. Known simply as Flight Lt. William Wales in the Royal Air Force, he was co-pilot in a four-man rescue helicopter crew that responded to a mayday call around 2 a.m. At that point, the vessel Swanland’s hull apparently cracked in bad weather. He and fellow military servicemen saved two men, airlifting them to safety at William’s base on the Welsh island of Anglesey, where he lives with Kate Middleton . The body of one of Swanland’s crew has been recovered; five are still missing. “We know at least some of [the missing] are wearing immersion suits and have strobe lighting with them,” Jim Green, a coast guard spokesman, said Sunday. “However, sea conditions are challenging at best.” [Photo: WENN.com]

Weed the lips of Miley Cyrus: this singer really enjoys smoking pot. At her 19th birthday party last week, Miley was presented with a Bob Marley cake and told the crowd: “You know you’re a stoner when your friends make you a Bob Marley cake. You know you smoke way too much f-cking weed!” Watch the video of the confession, obtained by The Daily, below: Miley Cyrus Weed Confession Kelly Osbourne, who was on stage with her pal, then grabbed the mic and – referring to THIS VIDEO from last year – joked with Cyrus: “I thought salvia was your problem!” Meanwhile, the night of her birthday, Miley made news for another video: she posted a tribute to those involved in the Occupy Wall Street movement. No word yet from Miley’s camp regarding the words about weed, but Osbourne has taken to her Twitter posted this less-than-convincing defense: “u guys if @MileyCyrus is not recording/filming/touring she is works everyday how could she possible do all that if she was a stoner! #think.”

Breaking Dawn Remains On Top of Box Office

The Muppets were no match for the half-vampire babies this week, as Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Kermit the Frog and friends fared well at the box office – but Breaking Dawn remained on top. Breaking Dawn: Behind the Scenes Look The Twilight Saga’s fourth installment pulled in another $62 million from Wednesday through today, bringing its worldwide tally to nearly $400 million. It’s now ahead of the pace set in 2009 by Eclipse . The Muppets, meanwhile, pulled in a solid $42 million. Here is a look at the top 10 box office results from this long holiday weekend: The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 : $62.3 million The Muppets : $42 million Happy Feet Two : $18.4 million Arthur Christmas : $17 million Hugo : $15.4 million Jack and Jill : $14.1 million Immortals: $12.6 million Puss in Boots : $10.4 million Tower Heist : $10.2 million The Descendants : $9.2 million

Scarlett Johansson to Make Directorial Debut with Truman Capote Adaptation

Variety reports that Scarlett Johansson will soon join the ranks of actresses-turned-directors with Summer Crossing , Truman Capote’s first novella, about a 17-year-old Manhattan socialite who breaks away from her family and has an affair with a working class parking lot attendant in the summer of 1945. The Avengers star had discussed her directorial debut previously this fall, but with backers and The Deer Hunter producer Barry Spikings it seems the project is actually happening.
