13-Year-Old Girl Arrested For Stabbing Teacher With A Comb In Self Defense

There is SO MUCH wrong with this story, we don’t even know where to start. A dimple-cheeked 13-year-old was arrested last week after she was accused of stabbing her teacher on his hands – with a comb, officials said. Antwanise Richardson was handcuffed and taken to the precinct despite statements by fellow Middle School 246 students saying they saw the teacher shove her first, Education Department documents show. “I can’t go to school. I miss it. I’m not learning while I’m at home,” Antwanise said. When a friend arrived to class, Antwanise bounded to the door to open it. Teacher Souleymane Seydi, 61, tried to block her exit from class by pushing her, two students said in official statements. Police say there’s no record the teacher touched Antwanise, saying she threatened him. When he stopped her from approaching the door, she stabbed him with a metal comb, causing injuries to his fingers, police said. Seydi’s injuries from the ensuing scuffle were too minor to merit a trip to the hospital, documents show, but Antwanise was arrested on felony assault charges. School officials and police tried to persuade the teacher not to press charges, Antwanise’s parents alleged. A source at the school acknowledged there was a mediation effort that failed. “They took it too far. They really took it too far. This is a child. She’s 13,” said her mom, Antionette McLaughlin, 41. “I was dumbfounded. I couldn’t believe they arrested her. It was self-defense.” Education Department spokeswoman Margie Feinberg said the principal referred the incident to investigators. Seydi did not return calls for comment. The teen’s dad, Harold McLaughlin, 42, wanted the teacher arrested, but police declined because his daughter was not physically harmed, he said. Do you think authorities were too harsh on the girl or are her parents being naive about their bad a** little girl? Who stabs someone with a comb??? Source

Lady Gaga Premieres Born This Way Short Film

Film, starring ‘Zombie Boy,’ features remixed song and footage from Thierry Mugler fashion show. By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga (file) Photo: Kevork Djansezian/ Getty Images The world may at last have a first glimpse of what Gaga has up her sleeve for Born This Way, thanks to a short film made for designer Thierry Mugler. The film, directed by fashion photographer Mariano Vivanco, is set to the remixed song that Gaga debuted at the Mugler menswear show in Paris on Wednesday. The black-and-white video, which premiered on Stylist.com and Mugler.com on Thursday (January 20), features Canadian model Rick Genest, also known as Zombie Boy, whose body and face are tattooed to look like a skeleton. It opens with voiceover of Gaga saying, “I don’t speak German, but I can if you like,” as the camera focuses on Zombie Boy, rocking a studded helmet. Footage of Zombie Boy is edited together with models walking the catwalk in Mugler designs. Zombie Boy mugs for the camera wearing a leather jacket and pearls while Gaga sings in German, “I’m absolutely clear/ As long as I’m a monster/ I wish we all could be blind/ It would be easier out there.” She repeats the phrase and the beat plays low under her anthem. There is very little pop in the dark, subversive club jam, reminiscent of a ’90s club track. The vibe of the video is an extension of her equally fashionable clip for “Alejandro,” which was styled by Nicola Formichetti, who happens to be the creative director of Thierry Mugler. Zombie Boy is later seen walking in a city, wearing street clothes, as Gaga sings in English, “I’ll take you out tonight/ Say whatever you like,” accompanied by a pulsing beat. The video closes with a model walking down the runway as the song fades out. Gaga remixed the song herself for the show. “I love him, my friend the genius, my collaborator, more more than any piece of clothing or closet I possess,” she said of Formichetti in a statement about the show. “But don’t tell him I said that, he’ll die. He picked them all out.” Related Artists Lady Gaga

‘No Strings Attached’ Director Says ‘Friends With Benefits’ Can’t Last

‘It’s very easy to have a sexual relationship that lasts for a short while,’ Ivan Reitman tells MTV News. By Kara Warner Natalie Portman in “No Strings Attached” Photo: Cold Spring Pictures Ivan Reitman is not only one of Hollywood’s most notable and reputable producers of memorable comedies (“Animal House,” “Old School”); he’s also directed plenty of them (“Stripes,” “Meatballs,” “Ghostbusters”), including the upcoming romantic comedy “No Strings Attached,” starring Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher . The fact that Reitman is one of the most memorable players in the business makes him an intriguing, if slightly intimidating, interview subject. However, given Reitman’s history with wacky and sometimes raunchy comedy, when MTV News caught up with him recently to discuss “No Strings Attached,” we felt it entirely appropriate to ask his thoughts on the idea of “friends with benefits,” particularly whether the mythological-sounding “agreement” that has become commonplace in pop culture these days can ever actually work. “Well, I think it’s very easy to have a sexual relationship that lasts for a short while, where there’s no kind of responsibility and there’s no kind of real ties,” Reitman said thoughtfully. “It’s been my experience, as somebody who’s been married for way more years than I believe, that you can’t do that for any real length of time.” Reitman went on to say that although it’s a nice idea, we human beings can’t help but fall in love at some point, “arrangement” or no. “It’s really the subplot of this movie as well. I think it’s as much of a fantasy that we’d all like to think it’s possible,” he said of the “friends with benefits” idea. “I think it’s tough, because we do fall in love, and there’s something about the human connection that makes us want to have deeper connections.” Check out everything we’ve got on “No Strings Attached.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Wiz Khalifa And Snoop Dogg’s ‘That Good’ Video Hits Net

First clip from duo’s upcoming ‘High School’ soundtrack shows kush-loving MCs enjoying baked goods. By Jayson Rodriguez Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa Photo: MTV News Wiz Khalifa looks like he’ll fit in just fine in Los Angeles. The lanky Pittsburgh rapper recently announced plans to relocate to the West Coast this year, and in his and Snoop’s new video for “That Good,” Wiz plays the part of Cali OG to the fullest. The Taylor Gang head takes in the green ways of Snoop and Tha Dogg Pound’s Daz Dillinger in the clip. “I’m smoking everywhere I go,” Wiz sings over the breezy production while seated at a kitchen table with Snoop and company poring over medicinal items. The video, which shows Snoop and Wiz cruising around town in a haze of smoke, serves as the first visual offering from the pair’s upcoming movie and soundtrack, “High School.” The joint project was originally announced earlier this month with no release date or title. Then, in an interview with DJ Skee Snoop revealed the movie title and suggested the flick would go straight to DVD in time for an April 20 release — a nod to smokers — but the “That Good” clip ends with a message saying the project will arrive in June. On Skee’s Hip-Hop Nation radio show, Snoop further explained that the concept of the LP and movie was a union of generations. “We decided to go ahead and say, ‘You know what? Let’s do a movie and a soundtrack and just become, you know, bosom buddies and do what we do, ’cause we love what we do and we love each other and at the same time we know what the people want,’ ” Snoop said. “The people want to see the two generations come together where hip-hop ain’t about old school and new school. It’s just about good music and making good moves and putting something out there that’s classic where people can respect it and say, ‘Yeah, so now, this was some gangsta sh– that really made hip-hop gradually grow to another level.’ ” Although Snoop’s collabos with Wiz have been keeping him busy, the Cali vet also has a solo project on the way: The Doggumentary album is due March 29. ‘Glee’ Justin Bieber Episode Needs ‘The Hairdo,’ Darren Criss Says

On Golden Globes red carpet, actor also pleads for Gwyneth Paltrow’s character to teach at his Dalton Academy. By Aly Semigran, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Darren Criss Photo: Steve Granitz/ WireImage It was a good night for “Glee” at the Golden Globes, to say the least. If Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch’s wins (not to mention the show walking away with the award for Best Television Series- Comedy or Musical for the second straight year ) weren’t enough to satisfy fans, new addition Darren Criss had plenty of news to have them Gleeking out. The actor — who made Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” even more popular than the original during his first season — talked about Justin Bieber and Gwyneth Paltrow with our very own Josh Horowitz. The lively star, who donned a pair of hot-pink sunglasses, joked that he wanted to rock fellow Globes attendee and presenter Justin Bieber in his arms. In addition to finding out that the tween star was nearby, he also heard the news (thanks to co-star Amber Riley telling MTV News) that the “Glee” cast would be singing not one, but two Justin Bieber songs. The star (who admitted he had previously heard word about the possibility of this happening) also said he wasn’t sure if he would be one of the castmembers belting out the Biebs’ hits. “If I do [sing them], I hope they tell me soon which one!” he said. “It should be fun,” Criss said about the upcoming covers, adding, “I just hope they do the hairdo!” But Bieber’s famed coif isn’t the only thing he hopes to see in the second half of the season, which returns in February. While he and guest star Gwyneth Paltrow both starred in the episode “The Substitute,” his character, Blaine, had no onscreen time with her Holly Holliday. “I feel like I’m on my own spin-off: ‘Dalton,’ ” Criss joked, referring to Dalton Academy, where his character attends school. “So I never get to meet or spend time with a lot of the guest stars.” While it’s been reported that Paltrow’s substitute teacher will return to teach sex education at McKinley High School and will start up a relationship with Matthew Morrison’s Mr. Schuester, Criss had another story idea for the Oscar-winner. “Maybe she could be a sub at Dalton! That would be awesome,” he suggested before confessing, “I’m in love with Gwyneth. I would love to meet her.” We’ve got the Golden Globes covered!
