Feds illegally raid New Mexico farm school without warrant and find nothing but fresh produce

The government terror campaign against innocent civilians continues with a recent report in the Santa Fe New Mexican about a September raid on a small farming school that left children and administrators in shock. According to the report, officials paid a surprise and unwarranted visit to the Camino de Paz Montessori School and Farm in Cuarteles, New Mexico, on September 21 to search for marijuana — but they ended up needlessly terrorizing small children and finding only tomato plants in the process. “We were all as a group eating outside as we usually do, and this unmarked drab-green helicopter kept flying over and dropping lower,” explained Patricia Pantano, education director of the school, to the Santa Fe New Mexican about the incident. “Of course, the kids got all excited. They were telling me that they could see gun barrels outside the helicopter.” Fifteen minutes after the helicopter left, unidentified agents showed up at the school in person and demanded to inspect the facilities. Although the agents had no legal warrant to make such demands, Greg Nussbaum, the farm director, permitted them to tour the farm anyway and see for themselves that it is nothing more than an education facility for small children that combines gardening and farming with traditional education. According to the report, agents have been pulling the helicopter stunt all over southern Santa Fe County in recent months, hovering over properties and intimidating owners who they say are “suspect”. Agents have also conducted several other raids nearby the school, even though they have not had probable cause to do so. “I think it would be found illegal to use aerial surveillance from 60 feet when there's no probable clause,” Marianna Hatten, owner of a bed and breakfast operation near the school, is quoted as saying. Hatten's bed and breakfast is also located on the same road as another property that was surveyed by helicopters and subsequently raided by agents. ‘Harry Potter’ Composer Takes Us Inside ‘Deathly Hallows’ Score

‘That’s quite a challenge to know that every single note that you write will be heard,’ Alexandre Desplat tells MTV News of global ‘Potter’ audience. By Kara Warner Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint in “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” Photo: Warner Bros. With “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1” continuing to rake in major box-office cash , the fan appetite for all things Potter has yet to be satisfied. Here at MTV News, we’re doing our part to serve the public’s Potter thirst by getting fans as close to the action as possible. First with juicy interviews and fun videos , and now with a few behind-the-scenes features that highlight the nuts and bolts of Potter filmmaking . In this latest installment, we turn our attention toward what is heard, not seen: the film’s score, created by celebrated and highly sought-after composer Alexandre Desplat. When MTV News caught up with the very busy man (in the past five years, he has composed scores for at least four films per year, including “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” to name a few), we talked about incorporating John Williams’ very distinct theme into his own work and how the fantastical elements in the world of Potter allowed the introduction of new, unique instruments. MTV : With so many projects on your plate, when do you sleep? Alexandre Desplat : Well, because I was expecting your phone call, I was on the edge of actually taking a five-minute nap, because it’s been a long day and I don’t sleep much, honestly. It’s a crazy life because I’ve always dreamed of being a film composer. I’ve never dreamed of being a concert composer or an opera composer; I wanted to work for movies, and now I have all these incredible projects coming towards me. … And all these films, of course, they collide because they’re late or they’re early, and so I have no life. I just work 18 hours a day, every day. And I don’t go on holidays. And so, I guess I will die young. [ Laughs. ] MTV : In jumping on a “Harry Potter” film, which has had several different composers over the course of seven films, how do you go about incorporating John Williams’ very distinct theme, while still making it your own? Desplat : My education as a film composer you can’t not — if you like the orchestra like I do, if you are a symphonist like I am — you can’t not listen to John Williams’ work. So I knew, of course, his work on the “Harry Potter” films, on the early films that he did, and when it came to the theme, which is the old theme, it became just a conversation to have with the director where and how we could use it. And actually, there was not so many opportunities, just because this movie is different from the previous ones. It’s not in Hogwarts anymore. It’s not in the school, and they’re now young adults. And the only moments where we could use it was when we wanted to refer to their childhood and to this loss of innocence, which is actually the main theme of this film. These three young adults are losing childhood, and they’re moving forward to dangers and adulthood. So we’ve just very carefully used it here and there; not much, sadly. And actually, when I was thinking about the score and anticipating what I had to do, I was playing with this theme, because I really love it and I was happy to be able to arrange it differently. MTV : In taking on a film like “Harry Potter” and its fantasy elements, does that enable you to bring in new musical sounds or sounds that you might not use normally? Do you have a favorite kind of unique instrument that you were able to bring in that you might not normally bring into a film score? Desplat : Yes, there are two things that we tried to bring. It is a way of using a lot of strings, sometimes doubling the string orchestra, on top of the first one, with different lines or adding more weight to some lines. Some pieces are really literally handwritten by string players, on top, all together. Of course we use the brass and the percussion and all that. It doesn’t make the sound louder, but deeper and more string-oriented. The other thing is a few elements here and there. I played some jazzy flute in a piece I wrote, and one of the percussion players, he plays this new instrument that was invented a few years ago, which is kind of in-between a steel drum and a — what could I compare it to? — and a gamelan that you play with your hands or with mallets. You can hear it in the “Lovegood” piece and it’s also blending instruments, which I like to do, that you hear there in the score. MTV : How many musicians did you work with on this undertaking? Desplat : The London Symphony, which was at the peak of 105, I think. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios. MTV : How was this experience different from the films you’ve done in the past? Desplat : It was different because it was “Harry Potter,” and “Harry Potter” is a global experience. It’s not just a movie that your friends will see or just the French people will see or just the Brits will see. No, it’s a global thing, and that’s quite a challenge to know that every single note that you write will be heard. Even though I always try to make sure that my first listeners, who are actually the players and musicians who are going to perform, I want them to be challenged. I want them to respect what I write, so it’s for them that I write before anything. Actors, of course, have been tailored to musically, and with the director. It’s with them that I want to have this exchange, this musical bonding. So it’s a big challenge to achieve, and again, it’s number seven of the franchise, so it was a big thing for me. Tyranny is coming to the United States- Rollback of First Amendment Rights?

An RT crew was recently arrested by US police while filming protests near the Fort Benning military base in the US state of Georgia. Correspondent Kaelyn Forde’s and her cameraman Jon Conway were detained while covering a rally protesting the School of the Americas. They were arrested after the demonstration was over and everybody, including correspondents, was leaving the area. The arrests were rough and included the use of hard plastic hand cuffs, the same type commonly used by US soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, injuring Kaelyn Forde’s wrists. At the time of their arrests the correspondents were not told what crime they were being charged with. They were held as protestors even though they presented valid press credentials to the court. Currently out on bail after 32 hours in custody, Forde and Conway were eventually charged with partaking in an illegal protest and disobeying the orders of law enforcement officers. Davis Swanson, author of the newly released book, “War is a Lie” said this case is a disturbing trend in America, and the constitutional rights of both the press and the activists were violated by the police. He explained the rights of a free press and free assembly seem to be thrown out when it comes to coverage of the US government, military, congressional campaigns and political parties. “There is the freedom of assembly as well as the freedom of the press in our First Amendment, and it is being attacked,” Swanson said. “This is something that has been growing in recent years.” There is a growing police presence at peaceful rallies and events, explained Swanson. Police are increasing their efforts and hostility at non-violent rallies. The event was a Christian protest, made up of activists that included priests, nuns, elderly individuals and minors. “It is a growing problem that ought to concern all of us,” he said. Swanson argued there was no justification for the police to violate the people’s first amendment rights. Increasing arrests, hostility and preemptive targeting of activists is unjust. “There seems to be a crack down on people protesting even as the protests diminish in size,” he added. The US military targets the media. The uses intimidation and releases tailored stories to the media, and most US media simply bend to the power and intimidation of the government, Swanson argued. “We have a campaign of intimidation that is very very successful,” he said. “There are two disgraceful things that happened here. One,an arrest of journalists and activists, and two, most US media outlets not there, not risking arrests, complying withthe desires of those in power or successfully intimidated.” Radio host Alex Jones said the arrests are a frightening sign and an attempt by the government to further curb American freedoms. Having been arrested in the past as a member of the press, Jones said Forde’s story is all too familiar. First, the police force you to move, and then move you again, and when you comply they arrest you anyway, he explained. “This is part of an ongoing program to persecute protestors and the press,” he said. “Now they’re trying to pass legislation where the Justice Department can shut down any website they want without a judge or jury. Tyranny is coming to the United States.” “This is really US tactics that are increasingly used against journalist around the world now coming back here to the United States,” she said. “We’ve seen time and again in war zones the journalists who are independent journalists who are targeted and then it’s labeled an accident. So, some o those same tactics come back here in an effort to shut down peaceful protests which is entirely legal, this was a permitted demonstration, and yet both the demonstrators and members of the media who were covering it were arrested for no reason whatsoever except an act of intimidation. Flounders argued that the military and the media are tied to one another. Thus US media rarely covers these events. She contended that the roll of the US media is shaped by the government, both in content and in how stories are covered. Blogger David Lindorff from ThisCantBeHappening.net argued police are using peaceful protests to study and intimidate activists. added by: MotherForTruth

Bristol Palin Defends Willow Palin, Sort of Apologizes For Gay Slur

With 16-year-old Willow Palin catching some serious heat for calling an old classmate a f***ot on Facebook, older sister Bristol stepped up to apologize. “Willow and I shouldn’t have reacted to the negative comments about our family. We apologize,” Bristol Palin wrote on her Facebook wall. “On a nicer note, thank you for supporting the great competition in Dancing with the Stars!” Nice plug. Bristol Palin has her sister Willow’s back . A few hours later, B-Palin added: “Thank you supporters who continue to support. The haters are already pulling out all the stops this week to destroy.” Yes, there it is. The conspiracy angle. Some misguided defenders of the Palins have opined that using the word f—-t is only bad because it’s Willow. Bristol did not specifically mention Willow’s gay slur directed at Tre , some dude who supposedly went to their school, and who updated his Facebook page Sunday with, ” Sarah Palin’s Alaska is failing so hard right now.” Not to take this biting criticism of her mom’s show lightly, Willow retorted: “Haha your so gay. I have no idea who you are, But what I’ve seen pictures of, your disgusting … My sister had a kid and is still hot…Tre stfu. Your such a f—-t.” For her part, Bristol joined Willow in bashing Tre, writing: “You’re running your mouth just to talk s–t.” She also singled out some guy named “Jon,” writing: “You’ll be as successful as my baby daddy, And actually I do work my ass off.” “I’ve been a single mom for the last two years.” Willow has since deleted her Facebook account. Should we care what a teenager says? Is it any less bad because the word is common? The question remains … Is Willow Palin homophobic?

Geraldo Rivera claims that he is now more open to the idea that 9/11 involved planted explosives after hearing new ad campaign. Rivera claims that the fact that the families of the victims and over 1300 architects and engineers are behind the new information has caused him to take a second look. Building 7 came down at 5:20 in the afternoon although it had not been hit by an aircraft. The ad, which is entitled “BuildingWhat?” and can be viewed at BuildingWhat.org, will air 350+ times from November 2 through November 10 and is estimated to be seen by millions of viewers in the New York Metropolitan Area, reaching core target audiences multiple times. NYC CAN’s goal is to generate public pressure on the New York City Council to open an investigation into the destruction of Building 7, which until 9/11 housed the City’s Emergency Operations Center, also known as “Mayor Giuliani’s bunker.” “We’ve been educating the City Council about Building 7 and the need for a new investigation for the past six months,” said Bob McIlvaine, father of Bobby McIlvaine and one of the 9/11 family members who appear in the ad. “We are asking them now to do something about it.” Patricia Perry, mother of NYPD officer John Perry, opens the ad saying, “Most people don’t know that a third tower fell on September 11th.” Footage of Building 7’s destruction begins to play while other 9/11 family members explain that 1,200 architects and engineers have examined the evidence and disagree with the official report issued by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), which concluded that office fires brought down Building 7. This would mark the first and only time in history that fire has caused a steel-framed skyscraper to collapse. The ad closes by asking viewers to go to BuildingWhat.org to learn more.
