Lamar Jackson, a sophomore from Louisville University, has become the first player from his school to win the Heisman trophy and the youngest player ever to earn the prestigious award. Accumulating almost 5000 total yards and 51 touchdowns this season, the kid almost made it impossible to not give him the award.

Father Of Shot Reno High Schooler Says Knife Was Protection From Bullies Yesterday we reported that police in Reno, Nevada shot a 14-year-old Logan Clark in the neck when he refused to put down a knife that he was waving at his classmates. The boy is expected to survive, but his father says his son isn’t a raging lunatic with a big a$$ knife, he was just protecting himself from the school bullies. According to NYDailyNews : The boy’s father Justin Clark said on Facebook and said that his son “brought the knives because he was gonna b jumped and he was the school knew of this and failed to act.” His father wrote that his son was being bullied and “is not the kind to back down.” The family lawyer told CBSNews : “It was clear that the child was not being aggressive, but rather was trying to keep people away from him. He was not attempting to hurt people,” Must. Be. Mutha. F**kin’. Nice. Farrah Abraham is not the greatest human being — she’s disrespectful, she’s mean-spirited, she’s ignorant, and she insists that she has none of these issues. But damn, some of y’all are just cold . Like, yes, Farrah is terrible , but do you have to make it about her face? Apparently, a lot of people feel like the answer to that question is “yes, we absolutely do have to make it about her face,” because Farrah got ripped to shreds after sharing this photo: It’s kind of sweet if you squint and have the ability to forget everything Farrah’s ever said or done , right? She and her daughter, Sophia, are sitting on Santa’s lap, having a merry old time, looking kind of happy. But still, countless people took to the comments to face-shame Farrah. “Tell Santa to bring you a new face,” one person wrote. “Yours looks ugly and bloated as sh-t.” “Ugliest picture I’ve ever seen!” another commented. “You look fat and your makeup is cakey and ratchet.” Another person tried to be nice, writing “I actually used to think you were very pretty now you just look stupid from all your surgeries such a shame.” And one more commenter just decided to be direct, telling Farrah “You look like someone just threw up on yo face.” Other terrible people decided to go after, Sophia, too. Several of them advised Sophia to ask Santa for a hairbrush, since her hair looks messy from time to time — sure, she’s a child, but why pass up a chance to slam Farrah ? Others — yes, as in multiple people — said that Sophia looks like “a spawn of Satan,” and some even made unbelievably low comments that really shouldn’t even be repeated. One relatively mild example of those kinds of cruel comments is “Your daughter is going to be ridiculed her whole life because you are such a piece of trash.” “Bet she wishes her mom died instead of her dad.” And then, if you can even believe it, the haters even came after Santa Claus. “Santa’s like yeah bitch I’ll come through the BACK DOOR to drop off those presents this year,” one sad soul actually thought, typed out, then posted. A similarly tragic human also wrote “I bet you let Santa stick his candy cane in your ass.” Is nothing sacred?! Seriously, there are a million things to hate about Farrah , probably even two or three million if you really sit down and think about it. There’s no need to get so catty about her face, or to bring her innocent child into this. And there’s definitely no reason to drag Santa into this mess. Do better, internet. On Tuesday of this week, Brandy Vela sent a text message to her siblings. “I love you so much just remember that please and I’m so sorry for everything,” it read. Just moments after sending the message, Vela committed suicide via self-inflicted gunshot wound, pulling the trigger in front of her parents and grandparents in her Texas bedroom. She was 18 years old. What led to this horrible tragedy? According to CNN reporting, Brandy’s relatives – most notably her sister, Jackie Vela – think her suicide was the result of years of endless cyberbullying. “People would make up fake Facebook accounts, and they would message her, and she wouldn’t respond, and they would still come at her,” Jackie told CNN two days after saying goodbye to her sister. “They would say really, really mean things like, ‘Why are you still here?’ They would call her fat and ugly. She was beautiful, absolutely; the only thing people could find to pick on her was her weight.” In an interview with local station KPRC-TV, Jackie even explained how trolls would create fake dating profiles. They went to every possible end in order to torment this poor teenager. “They would put her number and they would put her pictures [on the sites] and lie about her age and say she is giving herself up for sex for free, to call her,” Jackie said. Police were alerted to these instances of bullying on numerous occasions, but there was very little they could do about it. “They couldn’t do anything because [the suspects] used an app and it wasn’t traceable and they couldn’t do something until something happened, like [a] fight,” Jackie explained. Jackie called her parents and grandparents after she received the aforementioned text message. These relatives then rushed home, entered Brandy’s room and bore witness to the unimaginable act of their loved one killing herself. Texas City Independent School District spokeswoman Melissa Tortorici told Us Weekly in a statement that Brandy “had a lot of friends and was thought of warmly by her peers and teachers.” In an email to CNN, she added: “Brandy was well-liked and friendly. Texas City High School students really liked her. She has touched many people as evident by the outpouring of love from her schoolmates.” Brandy’s organs, including her beautiful blue eyes, are being donated to those in need. And sheriff’s deputies will be addressing cyberbullying with students next week. “Today’s young adults and teenagers have grown up with technology and they have access to it 24/7. Many times they become very bold over technology and text things they would never say directly to someone’s face,” Tortorici said. She concluded: “It’s extremely difficult to stop someone from sending messages when apps make it easy to remain anonymous.” What a truly horrific story. May Brandy Vela rest in peace.

Baltimore Teacher Arrested For Breaking 7-Year-Old’s Jaw Travon Grayson, 7-year-old elementary student , has been hospitalized after an educator allegedly assaulted the boy while he was walking to the office for disciplinary reasons at the end of the school day earlier this week. According to WBLATV , Timothy Randall Korr has been charged with felony first- and second-degree child abuse, felony first- and misdemeanor second-degree assault, misdemeanor reckless endangerment and misdemeanor neglect of a minor. Travon’s mother spoke about the incident and said this… “My son told me that (Korr) threw my son into a wall,” Jackson said. “My son had dreams about it all last night. He’s still shaking in his sleep, saying that he keeps having visions of (Korr) throwing him into a wall.” Jackson said the tutor was escorting Travon to the main office for disciplinary reasons at the end of the school day on Monday, but they never made it to the office. Jackson said that when she got to the school, Travon was in an ambulance and crying. She said the teacher was also there with Travon’s blood on his clothes. Baltimore police officers say detectives responded to the elementary school where they viewed video footage which captured the incident. Jon Gosselin is apparently sick and tired of Kate Gosselin’s BS and wants his own shot at caring for the couple’s shared children! In a report obtained by In Touch , Jon is reportedly requesting that he be awarded joint physical and legal custody of his kids. It was also revealed that Jon asserts he hasn’t seen his son Collin Gosselin, who is institutionalized , in almost two years! That’s a little … excessive, wouldn’t you say? “There will be a trial as soon as possible,” a mole revealed to the mag. “The judge ordered it. Jon’s been waiting for this for a very long time.” However, it’s not as cut and dry as it may seem. “The judge is ordering psychological evaluations of all eight kids and for both Kate and Jon before heading to trial,” the source revealed. “Jon hopes the judge will meet with all the kids privately in his chambers, without Kate, to find out [the truth] and what they really want.” It could very well prove to be a contentious battle, however, if the case actually does make it to court. Kate recently revealed that the Gosselin kids hate their daddy — the “new one,” that is — and miss their “old” father, which could complicate the kids’ assessments. The Gosselin matriarch told People , “I look at [Jon] honestly as two different people. “Back in the day, [Jon] could change diapers faster than anyone, he was there, he was involved, ever-present, very involved, the kids remember him that way, as well.” “I can remember those good days without any jaded ugliness,” she admitted. “The kids and I remember those days because they are their memories, too.” “The kids have coined it ‘Old Daddy’ and ‘New Daddy,’ ” Kate concluded. She’s gone as far as to slam Jon outright, saying that she doesn’t even take him — or his legal claims to the children — seriously. Kate revealed that Jon continually threatens to take her to court over the children, yet it never seems to pan out. “I’ve lost track of how many times he’s said that,” Kate said, grimly. Ouch! “I don’t really pay attention, to be honest.” Further, Kate is afraid of Jon , and claimed that she’s worried he’ll kill her one of these days. Kate revealed that gun-toting Jon was a loose cannon, and she wholly feared confrontation. “[Kate] feared that there would be a hostile dispute if she arrived at the school [to pick up one of the couple’s daughters] while he was there.” If this is what we’re ready to see in a heated courtroom battle, God be with those children.
