GOP Congressman Says President Obama Refuses To Acknowledge Islamic Radicals Because He Was Muslim In School via Think Progress Six years into his presidency, the GOP’s obsession with President Obama’s adolescence continues unabated. The latest iteration comes via Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL), who appeared on The Matt Murphy Show Tuesday morning, who invoked Obama’s childhood in Indonesia to explain why Obama is not using the term “radical Islam” to describe terrorism. Though birtherism may be all but dead in conservative circles, for the final two years of Obama’s presidency, new theories like this about Obama’s adolescent education may take its place. Murphy asked the Alabama congressman why Obama “refuses to clearly identify the enemy we’re fighting” as “radical Islam.” He then declared that “radical Islam” is “the nicest way you can put it. The only other way to put it is, it’s Islam generally.” Brooks agreed, offering a theory why Obama prefers not to use the term “radical Islam.” “It’s probably an unfortunate byproduct of the days when he was in a Muslim school being taught that Islam is a religion of peace,” he said. “And the president bought into it to such a degree that he does not seem to recognize that there are elements of Islam that are very violent.” As a result, he continued, “This president is exhibiting weakness and that is putting America at risk.” Brooks wrapped up by accusing Obama of employing “a policy that tends to encourage attacks on the United States of America rather than discourage them.”

Guns don’t kill people, people kill people. Alcohol doesn’t get you drunk, you get yourself drunk.” Very true. And also very irrelevant to the issue of rape. Oddly enough, Dash appeared to take the opposite side of this fragile topic last July when she came down hard on Kanye West for comparing paparazzi attention to rape. “For Kanye to say rape , maybe he needs to spend some time on Rikers Island,” said Dash at the time, referring to the infamous New York prison. “You know, go to Rikers for a little while. Middle School Students Have A Sex Party Families in Brown Deer, Wisconsin are reeling after four middle schoolers were busted for having a secret “sex party” after school. Four Brown Deer Middle School students could face serious charges. Police say they were involved in a sex party — and they’re accused of recording it on their cell phones. Word of this alleged party over winter break has been spreading quickly — not just on social media. FOX6 News has seen hundreds of comments on our Facebook page. FOX6 News was able to talk with some residents. They used words like this in reacting to what allegedly took place: “appalling,” “sad,” and “disgusting.” “The party annotation really came from the way it was dispatched to us. Because in reality it was just a few kids, four, that got together and had sexual activity,” said Brown Deer Police Chief Michael Kass. Chief Kass says the ages of those involved, coupled with the fact that they recorded it on their cell phones are things being taken into consideration when determining potential criminal charges. “While the appearance is that it was all consensual, we just don’t know that as a fact — because legally they can’t consent,” said Chief Kass. School officials say nothing happened at the middle school, but that’s where they found out about it. They say other students approached them, concerned for the safety of those allegedly involved. Those administrators immediately brought that information to the Brown Deer Police Department. A statement was issued by the Brown Deer School District, saying school officials are “deeply troubled” to hear of this incident and that the district is “actively working with authorities” as the investigation continues. “When you leave kids unsupervised, sometimes odd things happen, so it’s important you not only supervise your children but you also know what they’re doing with their cell phones. You need to know what’s going on,” said Chief Kass. Police say all four of the teens involved were arrested and then released to their parents. Brown Deer police are recommending the students be charged with first and second degree sexual assault of a child. SMH…watch your kids people.

Now these Texas high school kids are taking it to the top of YouTube trends! Texas High School Uptown Funk Video Students at A. Maceo Smith New Tech H.S. in Dallas, along with theater teacher Scot Pankey, organized and shot the video earlier this month. So far, the video posted to YouTube on January 24 has garnered over 6.5 million page views. Writes Pankey of the clip that’s sweeping the nation: “This is a great example of how a bunch of [technology] students let go of their fears, trusted their teacher and got down to Uptown Funk!!!” “I heard the song before Christmas and fell in love with it. We are a project-based school,” he adds, so he gave them this as their assignment! “You put them in teams, and they have to come up with solutions. They had three weeks to work on it, then present as a group what they learned.” The video was shot by a student, walking backwards through hallways and up and down stairs as his classmates did their awesome thing. Even more impressively, it was shot in a single take. Mars shared the video on Twitter with the caption, “I cried at the end. I’m still a thug though.
